This was a fun adventure that takes place before the events of the opening of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade where Indy is after the cross of Coronado. This story takes place after the events in Young Indiana Jones and the Titanic Adventure. The story is a fun mystery set in New England. Indiana Jones gets involved in a ghostly mystery about some hidden pirate loot and ends up in some fun circumstances with a young companion. This book was loads of fun!

I've had this book forever so I thought I'd finally read it. It took me a little less than an hour to read. It's a good book for younger readers. I was surprised that there was ghosts involved.

Indy continues his State-side adventures with Miss Seymour, post-Titanic) and she still is kind of oblivious to them.
This story gets a bit dark and has a bit of a gothic horror feel to it, which is appropriate given the setting (classic H.P.Lovecraft and Stephen King territory).
Indy’s new friendship with the local girl is cool. The lighthouse stuff in the storm is weird (and hard to understand).and the final answer to the mysteries is sad (but earned).
Overall, pretty good!
Note: After this, pretty sure Indy and his Dad will head to Utah (and I think the next time we’ll see Miss Seymour is when Indy visits her in England).

I am in third grade. I used this book for a very short book report.
