This is the story of Sleigh post tragedy…..In comes Harlem Knight….the man who had feelings for her for 3 years…But, he was trying to allow time for her to heal after her tragic loss…..Before he began his pursuit of Sleigh. Now that they’ve finally found some common ground and are getting along….it’s time for Harlem to go on tour….now, I have to get into book 2 to see if they last.
Harlem's persistent and determination made him a wonderful man and this a wonderful holiday read. His patience with Sleigh was selfless. I am planning on checking out the previous books to read about the other couples mentioned
First of all i saw my MAN Trough automatic 5 stars. Sleigh Sleigh Sleigh....girl don’t let that man slip through your fingers. But i appreciate you knowing how much more work on your self you need to do before committing. Harlem you a real one thankfully you acknowledged and communicated your mistake and for that i am sooo grateful. GREY can we discuss your use of adjectives that in one breath give me anxiety and heartbreak like i can feel it. Yet next I’m on a high and falling soo deep in love and need my back beat in. Thank you for another 5 star read.
Grey Huffington has done it again. I loved the fact that each lady and man from all of her books were in all the same room at the same time. Although Sleigh was going through a lot from her PTSD and had not been with a man since her boyfriend was killed in a car crash, Harlem refused to give up on her. Harlem waited for three years to go after Sleigh and he was relentless. I would love to read more about this couple. Another 🔥 Release, Grey! You totally rock.
Harlem met Sleigh three yrs ago, but couldn't have her because she was a taken woman. Now time has passed & Sleigh is grieving as well as dealing with a whole bunch of issues. Harlem has never wavered from wanting Sleigh, but she just doesn't feel all that ready. As usual, the men of Huffington come hard & do NOT let up until they get what they want. I loved this lil intro/catchup on some of our GH faves. I felt like this ended on a cliff hanger, but I'm sure everything worked out for these two ☺️
Sleigh Wellington was what she thought of as “damaged goods” but Harlem had waited patiently three years for her. What a beautiful beginning of two souls uniting each with flaws and all! Please tell me that I will hear more of their love journey. I feel in my heart Sleigh needs a Harlem in her life! If she don’t, I do! This was a superb storyline that was so relatable! I loved the advice that Sleigh mother gave to her!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Grey has done it again! I love this book and Sleigh, as well as her man Harlem. This book took my attention and did not give it back until I had read the last word on the last page. I hope we get another story about this couple in the future. But Trough is still my favorite book boyfriend.

I liked that there story was organic and believable, the author didn't force a "deeply devoted love" in this short span of time and I can appreciate that. For me, there were more than a handful of mistakes that seemed like this was rushed because of her maternity leave possibly, but I feel like this could have definitely benefited from a run by an editor and a read through.
Wasn’t my favorite Grey Huffington book but it wasnt terrible, I just felt like for the book to be more then 200 pages we really didn’t get much of them. Compared to her other books this felt mediocre. Like we didn’t get to see her work on becoming a better version of herself and realize her past doesn’t define her. I personally wouldn’t recommend this book to anyone but at the same time I wouldn’t tell you not to read it at all🤷🏽♀️
There were several pages where it was drilled into our heads that Sleigh didn't want to take a shower. Like she was combative at the suggestion for her to do so.. idk what the purpose of that was, but I was literally gagging.
I think some of the dialogue felt inauthentic and even pointless at times. The banter and spice between the two main characters were well written, but other interactions were lacking. Additionally, grammar seemed to be an afterthought.
Your love stories be taking me through the motions. I always feel like I’m actually in the story. This love story was amazing. Im so happy Sleigh let her guard down. Harlem. What a true romancer.
I need more. I know it says the end, but maybe one day you’ll write a part 2?! 😩🙌🏾
I surely didn't want this to end especially not like that. I felt like Harlem was exactly what Sleigh needed at this time in her life. I felt like it also showed her that she could love and trust again as far as living and hearing. I would love love love to read more about those two. Great read Grey Huffington 😊
I really enjoyed Sleigh and Harlem's story. They were both dealing with past traumas, which made them more compatible in the present day. Having just finished all of Grey's previous works, it was nice being revisited by the characters from those stories. If not for a few editing issues, it would have earned 5 stars!
I love Grey! Wiring style can not be compared to anyone else, and each story is so unique. I love the development of Sleigh going from scared and having phobia and finally able to just live life. I hope to hear from Harlem and Sleigh again. The story was amazing with different ending than most romance.
Sleigh the ballerina suffers from ptsd because she was in a terrible accident where her boyfriend died. Harlem is a famous singer who has fallen for Sleigh after she appeared in his video 3 years ago. He been trying to get with her. I think they make a cute couple. Hopefully we will get another book about them.
I love books with mature sexy black men! Harlem and Sleigh had flaws but who they are at the core is more beautiful than the flaws. This is definitely a great read. It did not end the way you wanted it to but it allows you to create your own ending and analyze what will happen next.
A nice, easy quick read. This book was filled with many heartwarming moments. I love the adoration Harlem had for Sleigh and my kindle is still trying to recover from when they got together... Smoking hot. The ptsd was written so clear that my heart was moved for the character. Very nice story of the pursuit of a woman.
Oh my goodness I did not want this book to end... I need so much more from Sleigh and Harlem I can’t just let them go without knowing how and if their love will evolve... I definitely can see growth in Sleigh... Definitely wanting so much more and can’t wait to see what’s next
I will admit that the story paled in comparison to some others I’ve read by Grey. I found myself skipping over much of the fluff because it made everything entirely too slow. This could have been a short read like many of the other titles. Still, I’ll trudge through the second part of Sleigh’s story
The journey to their end Sleigh & Harlem isn't that, Can't Be that. Though he sang " infatuated with you" to Sleigh he is Way more then infatuated with Her. Harlem Loves Sleigh and Sleigh is in Love with Harlem too! Where is there common ground, and How can they make THEM Work? Looking forward to reading the rest of their story in the next installment!
This book was an emotional rollercoaster. At one point I felt sorry for Sleigh then she pissed me off. However I understand you can’t control outburst when having PTSD.
Harlem was very sweet and knew what he want but the pushing was a bit much. A lot happened within 2 days and it just gave me a migraine if I’m being honest. But I still enjoyed the read.
3.5 ⭐️ struggled halfway through the book & then it got better. GH mentioned a few of her other couples in here. Only ones that I knew of was Wilde & the Mayor (got more books to read from GH) There was also grammatical errors as well that brought the flow of the book down. The ending has me wanting to read book 2.
I loved everything you've wrote, but how could you not give them the ending they both neende and deserved? I loved them as well as the other couples. I need to know what happens next for those two.😥
This novel had me all in my feelings! That opening prologue had tears in my eyes! Grey’s writing is growing with every novel she writes. I loved Sleigh and Harlem. Please, please let there be more to their story. This can’t be the end.
Sleigh!!!! I really enjoyed this read. Nothing like I guessed in the beginning of this read. I was hoping to have more from, it ended so quick 😩😩😩😢 Nothing-less it was good 💗
What a story. Sleigh's battle with PTSD and Harlem's patience was everything! I hope they'll get another book but if they don't I'm satisfied with this story. I was so glad to see all of the other characters do a cameo in this story it felt like a family reunion. Another good one Grey!

Once again, Grey , does this to me. I just so like this story. Sleigh irked me all over. She was about to go on my list of characters that I dislike so much. She was getting ok, and then it ended. Harlem I so love. Grey, you have to give me more than this.
Sleigh and Harlem are EVERYTHING!!! I found myself immediately immersed in their story and did not want their journey to end. I hope we get to visit them again.
