Ethan Jones has earned himself a reputation for writing exciting spy thrillers crammed full of action and suspense. This set contains three great examples of his best writing. Each book is a standalone thriller but there is an arc that spreads through them all so having them all together is excellent.
The Corrector is the first book of the series and it hits the ground running with covert ops, double dealing, double crosses, international settings, complex political situations and, of course, the absolutely first class action scenes. The story follows Javin Pierce as he travels through several different countries dealing with various challenges but rest assured this guy is up to the task. This book is exactly what I’d hoped it would be, a fast paced action and espionage filled thrill ride that flies by.
Betrayal is another awesome book with twists and turns along the way before a hugely entertaining finale. That’s as close to a spoiler as I’m willing to get. Javin Pierce is one of those characters that you instantly root for and with the author dropping him into such entertaining situations this is a must read.
Closure benefits from the build up from the previous two of the series, particularly Betrayal. Javin Pierce is alone in a hostile country without backup from his agency. He won’t let that stop his quest for justice though. His partner in the CIS, Claudia Aquarone, is in the hands of a hostile enemy agency but she, of course, won’t let that hold her back from helping her friend. How they deal with these immediate situations would be enough to fill a novel but Ethan Jones gives his readers so much more than just that.
Overall these are all fun, action filled thrill rides that I highly recommend

Suspence And Intrigue
As with all of the Javin Pierce books these have a great deal of action with intelligence gathering and execution of operations. These books are 3 scenarios that take place on a continuous time-line and Javin and Claudia in the jaws of enemies of the state more often than not. The storyline takes us over more than a few continents and into several often dangerous countries. The hardest part of their journeys is the confidence shattering betrayal of someone who should have their backs but whom they ultimately exact "revenge". There are too many characters to name and too few on the side of right but all are well written and nuanced.

With every book he writes, and each genre he delves into, Ethan Jones continues to polish his craft. Another very good read. As always I look forward Jones' next book.

Loyalty means everything
I wasn't sure these books would be my cup of tea. However, once I got into the first book, I was hooked. Nearly nonstop action that you don't want to put it down. Javin Pierce is a Canadian Intelligence Service operative. He and his partner, Claudia, are correctors; they go in and "fix" others' mistakes. Quick in and back out. The setting is mostly in the Middle East fighting Al Qaeda, ISIS. Each book takes up where the last one ended with new orders. I would recommend to anyone who loves suspense and fast paced action. The 4th book is out now and we must see how Javin and Claudia redeem themselves after the last fiasco. They have a lot to prove after going rogue to get back into the good graces of the CIS.

I really enjoyed all three of these stories. They are very fast paced and cross countries, very topically dangerous. Javin and Claudia, the two Canadian operatives live life on the edge of danger, death and capture to complete their mission - in spite of the treacherous double dealing of others they're supposed to be able to trust. I hardly wanted to put my reader down, and I admit that sometimes the action got a bit complicated to pick up again without going back a page. I like the way Ethan Jones put a short story at the end to finish the story off properly by telling what happened to the double dealing bad guy.

Intense
For some reason, I found myself struggling to get through this three book series. It seemed as if every time I decided to put the book aside, something would occur that caused me to continue reading. The main characters Pierce and Claudia were entertaining and the author developed them well. The ending with Martin was a surprising twist, as was the continuation of their adventures.

Great action read
The box set is the best way to read the series that way you have a full weekend of
thriller action stories that have a great main character and as I mentioned lots of action.

This is a great series. I have read these three books as well as the fourth. I'm waiting on book five to see what happens next in Javin's adventures.
