Hank Richardson has loved Julie forever. Now he has a second chance to find happiness with her, but Julie is afraid to commit. Can he convince her that he will never hurt her or her boys? I understood why Julie's afraid. Her first husband was an abuser. Hank isn't anything like that. He's caring and supportive. It bothered me to see how he was hurt by her rejection. Julie loves her freedom. With her background it was understandable. I was committed to these characters. I've followed their story. I love visiting End of the Line. It's filled with familiar characters who are ready to help those In need. I love this small town setting. Amanda McIntyre has written a story filled with tenderness, love and drama. The characters are amazing and their dialogue is realistic. The Last Hope Ranch series is filled with second chances. The ending increased my anxiety level.

First, I want to thank Amanda McIntyre for providing me with this book so I can bring you this review.

Worth the Wait by Amanda McIntyre is part of the Last Hope Series book 2. However, this can be read as a standalone and you can understand what is going on. However, I would have preferred to read the first book in the series as I am a fan of her work. That being said I would definitely like to continue reading this series as I really liked this book.

This book is for those who believe in second chances and that love always find a way.

One thing I really love about Amanda’s writing is the Country Romance genre she writes in. It is always written on a ranch setting with cowboys mixed in with some romance. This time around she threw in a few curve balls to throw you off your path.

Amanda started off this book like unlike any other book I had ever read before. Oh it hooked you into the story alright. Hank proposing to his girlfriend whom just got divorced from her ex husband a few months ago. A beautiful proposal at that. However, unexpected and very hesitant to say yes. For the reader it was very awkward to read. I felt compassion for Hank who was proposing to the woman he had loved for so long. Here she was rejecting him cus it was too soon and didn’t want to get hurt. She hesitantly said yes after seeing the ring.

I loved Hank’s back story on how he met Julie and they got together. He is a great guy and great for her. They had some things they needed to work out though. However, no relationship is perfect.

I thought it was funny how Hunter everyone thought looked like Thor.

Amanda is a great storyteller and there were other stories besides the main one of Hank and Julie that were really good too. Some that pulled on your heart strings even.

There is a section at the end of the book that Amanda addresses the reader. She wants the readers to know it is not about being afraid to believe you deserve a second chance. And it is about taking a leap of faith, that things are going to be better than your previous broken experiences.

Saccharine sweet and squeaky clean country romance

Hank is a pilot and a home-town guy from the heartland. Julie knew him in high school, but married a guy from out of town. Her marriage ends in SWAT-team disaster, and Hank is one of her rescuers. He's 100% committed, in love for life, and asks her to marry him. Julie's sons adore Hank. Despite their sexual chemistry, Julie can't commit. The drama of will they or won't they marry is aided and complicated by sexy strangers, forest fires, old dreams and old fears... This book is decently written, expertly edited, and fans of the genre will like it fine. I thought it was very predictable. I'm reviewing a ARC from Candid Book Reviews - Thanks, Ari.

Worth the Wait by McIntyre

A very sweet romantic novel with all the little fixings.

Hank is a knight in shining armor, who literally jumps into the fray of things to save people. Even when he saved her and the boys. His heart was always her. Now he has the chance to do what he's wanted to do for so long. Only can he convince the skittish Julie. He is the one for her and her boys who already think of him as their dad.
Julie is skittish to say the least. But who can blame her? After her finalized divorce she is a free woman. She even has custody of her two boys. Now if only she can tell Hank to slow down a little. Where her heart is pretty much made up, but her mind is still scared. Can she overcome this lastest obstacle to her happily ever after?

Surprisingly (to me), this was an emotional read. This is my first time reading a book by this author and I like this realistic style of romance that touches the heart. I also like how the small town concept in this story which comes across as supportive and positive. I also like that they are mature adults although no ones perfect. Hank is so kindhearted and definitely a prize catch. I enjoyed reading his adventurous pathway to marry the woman he knows is worth his wait. I am voluntarily reviewing a free copy.

This is romantic, suspenseful and entertaining. Hank's love for Julie has never died, now he has the chance to be with her. But can he convince her to trust him. Hank and Julie are a good couple, he's patient and caring and she's sweet and strong. They go through a lot together, near tragedies and obstacles that would make a lesser man run.
I recieved a copy of this from Candid Book Reviews. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.

This book was a great read and loved the story line, but it has many grammatical errors, which shows piss pore editing. Multiple time when Chirs was talk it would say Kyle and then there were the wrong words used i.e is instead of us and a few others I can't remember right now.

Fears and heartache make starting over a difficult thing to do and choices are made that lead to adventures and second chances. Good reading.

I always know when I pick a book by Amanda McIntyre I will be reading a Wonderful Wonderful book. Worth the Wait was a great second chance Romance book. Hank who has been secretly in love with Julie for many years jumps at the chance to help rescue her even taking a bullet for the love of his life but that still may not be enough. Julie will be forever grateful for Hank helping rescue her from a psycho husband . Will Julie love Hank the way he loves her? Can she accept that not all men are like her ex? This story was absolutely fantastic and a delight to read! I highly recommend Worth the Wait! I Look forward to many more books by this Talented Author and especially visiting End of the Line Montana again!!!
