“Do you have any idea what an amazing woman you are?”

Mike Daughtry is still nursing his wounded heart the first time he meets Zoe Inglot in the ER however; the second time they meet its Zoe is ready to swear off all rich men. Knowing that Mike decides to be less then truthful with exactly who he is. Mike works part time for his family business but his real passion lies with MMA and for the time being his family is letting him spend his time there however, they expect him to come back into the fold of the family business soon. Zoe having been raised by a single mother wants to make sure that both her and her sister take the path of getting an education and a solid job before she even thinks about starting a family.

Sometimes even the best laid plans can take a detour and for Zoe that detour is named Mike Daughtry with his sexy smile and incredible body that is too hard not to stare at let alone resist. I really liked Mike and Zoe together and Mike was unbelievably sweet which had you rooting for Zoe to give him a chance. Zoe is such a strong woman that is so caring and would do anything for her family even sacrificing her future to make sure her sisters had a chance at a good education. If your looking for a sweet romance full of loving characters then this might just be the book for you.

“I’m scared shitless. But being with you makes me feel like anything is possible.”

Zoe is hurt and disillusioned after her rich surgeon boyfriend humiliates her in front of all of her friends. She'll never date a rich boy again. When Mike finds her upset after her mistreatment, he recognizes her as the ER nurse who treated him for a sparring accident a few months previously. Far enough removed from his own heartbreak, the attraction he felt during their first meeting intensifies and they begin a physical affair. The chemistry is off the charts hot for this pair, but Zoe wants nothing more from Mike than a hookup.

Fiercely attracted to the fiery Zoe, Mike pursues her, but knowing her aversion to wealth, lies about his family's means. Intent on building a relationship with Zoe, Mike will have to walk a dangerous path to cover up his lies. He's found his forever and he's willing to do what he must to hold onto it.

Zoe's ferocity and independence make her a likable character, even if she is somewhat biased and close-minded about the money issue at times. She also makes decisions to her own detriment due to her stubbornness and need to protect herself. Mike, the big, bad fighter is attractive as well, especially once he lets himself be vulnerable and shows his true self to Zoe.

Four stars for this steamy, sexy sports romance.

This is an honest, voluntary review of an ARC of the story.

First, I want to thank Annabeth Saryu for providing me this book so I may give you this review.

Crazy Hearts is the second book in Annabeth Saryu’s Hearts So Fine series. This book does not have to be read as part as a series as it is a Standalone book. I did however read the first book and I can tell you that you don’t need to read the first book.

This book series is part of the MMA martial arts series. However, you don’t have to be interested in MMA or know anything about the sport. This book mostly is focused on the romance and getting her sister through college.

I loved how Mike and Zoe met at the hospital by fate. They had their ups and downs but it was getting better. Their sexual chemistry was off he charts .

I loved how Chloe had a sister named Zoe.

This book was touch and go for me. There were parts I really liked, and parts that really annoyed me. I felt like the characters lacked some depth and realism, especially Zoe. She was upset by things that I felt didn't and shouldn't matter and this made me like her less. Mike was okay, and he had some good moments, but that's about all I can say. This was disappointing since I read the first book, Fighting Hearts, and was excited to read Mike's story. To top it off, the most pressing part of the story for me was what happened to Janet, and we never get to find out. Maybe it was brought up to be book 3? Overall, an average read with a pretty typical story line and characters.
I received a free copy of this book for an honest opinion.

Crazy Hearts

A short novel that packs a good punch. I liked it even with all the drama between the characters. Because that's what tied it all together and really made it believable to me.

Zoe is a nurse on a mission. Do her job, help at home and keep what's left of her family together no matter what. Especially making sure her sister gets the help she needs for her courses.

Insert Mike Daugherty. A rich billionaire, with a silver spoon in her mouth. But he works as a business man in the morning and fights in the MMA at night. It pay good and keeps him away from his sister's nit picking ways. He's about to learn a lot in life and it all starts with a little visit to the ER...

I’m sorry - I really tried to get into this book. I went into it with high expectations. But within the first couple of chapters there was already a boyfriend pawing an ex, a drunk guy threatening to knock him out, and a quick hook up in a hotel room. Not to mention the EGO of the main guy character Mike just kills the whole story. When the main female character Zoe sneaks out after they hook up in the hotel room, she leaves him money to pay for drinks they had and he takes it as her paying for sex - which he basically says even if she did he would be worth way more. I just couldn’t continue.

He doesnt disclose everything about himself. They meet up when she was his nurse in the ER and took care of his eye. She is out with her friends and she decides to leave. He is walking in and sees her and offers to buy her a drink elsewhere. He takes her to his place and says its for the real estate condo that he is part time help. They have this amazing time together. He offers to take her on a trip and its wonderful However there ends up being a huge surprise a few weeks later. She and him are going good and its amazing. you must read it to find out about their future together.

I enjoyed this story. Zoe and Mike were instant steam, but both kept their secrets. Zoe was a strong and determined woman, loyal to family, and able to look beyond her past. Mike had his differences with his family as he worked on his path through life. As the few curves that were thrown at them arose, it was honesty and love that helped them through. At the end, I still had some questions, but maybe they will be answered in the next book.

This was another great book in this series. The author does an incredible job of drawing the reader into the story. The story itself was heartwarming, sexy, cynical/realistic and heartbreaking. The scene were Zoe gives Mike the watch had me blubbering like a baby. The characters were well developed and showed emotional growth through the course of the story. After reading the first book I never in a million years thought I would not only come to care about Mike but would be routing for him to succeed and get the girl. Highly recommend.

Zoe has had to work for everything she has. Mike is used to the life of luxury. One chance meeting changes their paths. Will she let him in? Will Mike prove he is more than family money?

I was excited to read this book after reading the first one in the series and it didn't disappoint. I loved how there was a lot more to Mike than what you would think at first glance. I didn't blame Zoe for being hesitant given her past, but loved to see her slowly let her walls down. Good read!

This is a sweet story and I really liked the hero. Secondary characters were great and good writing. I have not read the first book in the series, but I wasn’t lost. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is I prefer steamier sex scenes, and I wanted the heroine to be a little stronger in the relationship. She got there eventually, but not in the beginning. I’d definitely read this author again!

This was a nice romance. I probably would’ve rated it the full 5 stars if I hadn’t read the first book in the series as that set the bar for me, I had high expectations as I loved the first one, this one is still really good but not as intense and steamy as the first. I read this book as an ARC.

I really like this one too, I didn’t know what to make of the pregnancy story line it seemed out of reach but over all. I found myself enjoying this book. The book felt so raw & real when it addressed Zoe financial status which I quite enjoyed.

Can’t wait for the next book

A visit to the ER marked the course of their lives. Zoe just wants to help her sister and not end up like her mom. Mike is an MMA fighter with a white collar upbringing.
Win or lose is his motto but what's gonna happen now?
