This book describes how every mother loves their child. It ends with a mom telling her little one that she loves him/her. The theme of the book is no matter if you’re an animal or human all mothers love their little ones and they have unconditional love. I like how it showed different animals, but it was kind of boring. I think little kids would love it because it shows a mother’s love. I would have enjoyed reading this book more if it talked about a mother and her daughter or son to make it more relatable instead of using the animals. I do like the illustrations especially how they made the mom big and her baby really small.

Various animal mothers rhyme their love to their little ones, and lastly a human mother does too.

The simple rhyming text and cute drawings will make this a big hit with little ones who love animals and story time but have a short attention span. It's a very quick read, but the rhymes and illustrations are done well. This would be a good read-aloud around Mother's Day.

This is another children's book that is a gift to parents because it is not annoying to read. The flow of words is very nice and doesn't grate on your sensibilities after you read it the twentieth time.

This is a poem in the form of a book. It has different animal moms telling the babies how much they are loved. It would be a wonderful read a loud for pre k or kindergartners. They could also explore the different characteristics of the animals in the book.

This book could have had a human mother and child to help the child relate to it more. It went over a lot of mother's and their babies but not humans. This book is great for talking about family relationships to children, or relationships with child and mother.

A bit too sweet for me, but the illustrations are darling, and the rhyme and cadence would make it a good choice for baby or toddler story time. Sadly, it is a small-ish book, so you'd want to read it with a small crowd.

One of my absolute favorites to read to my little girl. I've been reading it since she was about 6 months old. I can probably recite it by memory at this point.

I read this sweet book to my little two-year-old. She loves the mommy-baby theme and we get lots of snuggles, kisses, and hugs during this one!

What a sweet little book! Rhyming text describes various animals' love for their children. The illustrations are lovely, but the book is quite small. Parts might work in babytime.
