Had to end the year with a smile - great book for young readers! A nice 'boost' of positive energy that will take you forward! I am probably going to try to read more books like this in the next year; my outlook on life needs a little 'nudge' in the direction of hope.

I bought the book, a few days ago, at my kid's school book fair. it was a short, picture book. it was touch and feel, perfect for my son's sensory issues.

I know it’s a children’s book aimed at really little ones, but even then I found this too formulaic.

The textures are more fun and unique than standard touch and feel books! Text/pictures just ok.

Llama thinks he’s so cool. Even cooler than you or me (Pff, as if!?).
He thinks he’s just the coolest, bestest, most magnificent creature on this planet.
But really, he’s just a show-off. And, nobody likes a show-off.

When his mates say, “Can you paint?”
Llama says, “No probllama!”
“Can you stand on your head and sing?”
“No probllama!”

Every time someone does something, Llama has to do it better.
“No probllama!” says Llama. He can sing, dance and do karate.

Lemur has enough and challenges Llama to a series of contests.
“No Probllama!” says Llama and shows time and again just how awesome he is.
It doesn’t look like anyone or anything can stop Llama from showing off. Until …

The illustrations, by Kali Stileman, cap off this book beautifully. The expressions on Llama’s face crack me up every time. And with such wonderful colours that entice all readers, young and old to this funny book, it’s a winner.

A really funny and engaging book that children will just love! It tells the story of an annoying llama who thinks he is better than everyone else. But the Lemur puts him to the test and gets him to try all different types of activities. The llama seems to do them all but falls at the last hurdle and doesn't like it when he can't do something and the lemur can. This book is great for assisting with phonics and sounds as it contains lots of excellent phrases, many of which the llama adds onto his reply. The illustrations are very aesthetically pleasing and I think that my class are going to love having this book read to them. There are lots of cross-curricular links such as drama, PHSE even PE. Excellent book when talking about relationships and how we should treat others.

Llama loves trying new things, such as swimming, ballet dancing and karate! This simple rhyme encourages children to try new things, just like Llama. The rhyming refrain encourages children to join in with the story. This book contains "feely" pages.

Llamas can do anything - in sequins and crushed leather alike! While I appreciate the humor of this sensory board book, the illustrations fall flat.

Cutest book ever!!! I love how the author plays with the word probllama. I think kids will really get into this book with the touch and feel portion!

Noah enjoyed the fast pace of this book and the various sounds, though he’s not quite old enough to understand the ending yet.
