An exciting young adult fantasy series
Danger at every turn for a couple of newbie dragons destined to save the world! Enemies to vanquish abound as alliances are reforged and bonds and friendships are formed—all while these two are just trying to get the hang of wings and magic. I do hope there will be something to follow. Although l liked the ending, not everything was resolved, and we are left with a lonely prince at loose ends. Also, The final battle was only shown through the eyes of the Prince. What about his partner-in-destiny? She was suddenly relegated to the background. What of the lonely elven princess and her partner in an ill-fated attraction. At this point, some shorty stories could tie things up and be more satisfying.

Ok, I'm not going to summarize this series because the publisher’s blurb and other reviewers have done that very well but I will say that I've secretly always wanted to be a dragon and these darn stories has only made that stronger!
Now, as to series book itself, each of the stories in it is really very well written. I love the extensive thinking that must have gone into world-building as the result is a really superb fantasy world. The lead and supporting characters are strong too and it was totally fun following along as they got better and better. Really great action sequences and even a nice romance. Just wow. A heady mix that’s easy to highly recommend.

I like the series as a whole. Book 4 confused me though, because the tone of the other races didn’t make sense with the ending of book 3. They had just made a huge victory and everyone was getting along. Suddenly, everyone’s angry with the Keeper? I chalked it up to the spread of evil and fear, but it felt like a lame excuse to me… either way, the whole series was a fun and enjoyable story to read.

Totally awesome. Imagine living your life until you become a teenager not knowing what you really are. You’re a dragon not just a human. Easy way to lose yourself for a while. Highly recommended
