Sometimes the translation needs to be looked at, and there are a surprising number of typos for a finished book. Mostly, however, this is a good introduction to Michelangelo's life and works, with some great illustrations breaking down some of the more complicated pieces.

Although I doubt it's the best book on offer, it's certainly a good place to start.
