Currently, he is employed with the state of Nevada in law enforcement, and enjoys traveling, especially to Rome and Vatican City where many of the settings for his novels take place.
Rick Jones is also an avid writer and the creator of the Vatican Knight series (VATICAN KNIGHTS, SHEPHERD ONE and The ISCARIOT AGENDA), and the psychological thriller, THE MAN WHO CAST TWO SHADOWS.
He lives in Las Vegas with his two mini schnauzers, Wrangler and Hobo.

As far as the action in the plot goes, this is an excellent book. There are two separate plot lines going on at the same time, and that really helps the flow and intensity of the story. i really wish, though, that the author could find another way of describing blue eyes except for the term cerulean.

Kimball Hayden and the awesome Vatican Knights are back in another thrilling instalment by the prolific Rick Jones.
The Brimstone Diaries, an ancient book first authored by St Peter himself has been stolen from the Vatican Archives. It contains a comprehensive list of names which all share a common trait and certain factions want these people erased for their own religious reasons.
Meanwhile, some nasty terrorists are plotting an attack on the Vatican and it's up to Hayden and the boys to stop them before it's too late.
Rick Jones sure knows how to write an entertaining thriller and The Brimstone Diaries is yet another one of them. Slightly repetitive in its theme and some of the descriptions, but that's easily forgiven as the ride is so much fun.

A thriller using almost real events of our time to add to the thrills
The very word Brimstone, might send chills to the bone in some, in this book it puts and end to such thoughts as the Vatican Knights triumph again.

Another great read!
Rick Jones' Vatican Knights tales never fail to entertain and keep you on the edge of your seat! I hope that they have many more adventures and our hero , Kimball keeps reaching for the light.

Brilliant read again another excellent tale of the Vatican knights I have read the whole series now and they did not disappoint

Another WOW
Once again, my hero, Kimball Hayden comes to the rescue. Love the Vatican Knights and can't wait for the next one. Best books I have ever read. Rick Jones is my favourite author and has given many hours of enjoyment. This book does not fail. Thank you Rick.
