The Inheritance: Poisoned Fruit of JFK's Assassination

Rate this book
Christopher Fulton's journey began with the death of Evelyn Lincoln, late secretary to President John F. Kennedy. Through Lincoln, crucial evidence ended up in Christopher's hands—evidence that was going to be used to facilitate a new future for America. But the U.S. government's position was clear: that evidence had to be confiscated and classified, and the truth hidden away from the public. Christopher was sent to federal prison for years under a sealed warrant and indictment. The Inheritance, Christopher's personal narrative, shares insider information from his encounters with the Russian Government, President Ronald Reagan, Donald Trump, the Clinton White House, the U.S. Justice Department, the Secret Service, and the Kennedy family themselves. It reveals the true intentions of Evelyn Lincoln and her secret promise to Robert Kennedy—and Christopher's secret promise to John F. Kennedy Jr. The Inheritance explodes with history-changing information and answers the questions Americans are still asking, while pulling them through a gauntlet of some of the worst prisons this country has to offer. This book thrillingly exposes the reality of American power, and sheds light on the dark corners of current corruption within the executive branch and the justice and prison systems.

The Inheritance: Poisoned Fruit of JFK’s Assassination

When Christopher Fulton buys a gold Cartier watch that belonged to JFK and was part of the original assassination materials, it sets in motion something he never saw coming. A real page-turner. This book and the information in it is simply explosive. It changes everything I thought I knew about this period in time of American history. It's shocking. A must read. My thanks for the advance electronic copy that was provided by NetGalley, authors Christopher Fulton, Michelle Fulton, and the publisher for my fair review.

I have read more books on the JFK assassination than I can count, but certainly somewhere around two hundred. I am a member of the British research group Dealey Plaza U.K., and I have written articles on the Kennedy coup for the journal Dealey Plaza Echo. In this research I have come across a few books that I have had difficulty getting my head around, or books that fail to convince me of their historical provenance. 'The Man on the Grassy Knoll', 'Flight from Dallas' or 'Me & Lee' are examples that lack corroboration and therefore fail to convince. Conspiracy theories are all very well and can be entertaining, but there is enough factual evidence in the many 'lone-nut' shootings to seriously question the official versions of history.
'The Inheritance' (2018) is undoubtedly one of the more incredible tales of this genre. In a book containing over five hundred pages the narrative takes three hundred and eighty, followed by one hundred and twenty five pages of documents and photographs to substantiate the text. To be perfectly honest, I am somewhat at a loss to know what to make of this. A story that includes the personal involvement of Ronald Reagan, Bill and Hilary Clinton, Caroline and John Kennedy Jr., and Donald Trump, that reads like a mix of Mills and Boon love story, a Steven King fiction and the Shawshank Redemption all rolled into one. Yet, the included documentation at the end of this book seems to confirm Christopher Fulton's story. If someone can convince me of the veracity of the plot, I should be adding more than two stars to this review. Unfortunately I don't like the novelistic way this has been written. There are scenes in the storyline that cannot be substantiated, for example, conversations in the Oval Office between Clinton and Janet Reno, or the details of Shauna Fulton's death. There are also minor inaccuracies and errors of historical facts.

It isn't just me that finds this book a little too far out. Another Goodreads reviewer writes:-
Is this book for real? If it is, OMG. We should all be really afraid. Say it ain't so. I don't know what to believe.

So this was an eye-opening book for me in a lot of ways, but that wasn't the only reason I'm giving it five stars.
Christopher Fulton’s story is a real page turner, most memorable book I have read this year and one the best non-fiction I have ever read.
This astonishing book is both timely and timeless.
A vivid, well-written account with a deep insight of what really happened on November 22 in 1963 in Dallas, Texas.
Meticulously researched, based on intimate letters, notes, diaries and artifacts, it provides a deep insight of the cover-up and the deep secrets that surrounded this dark day in U.S. history.
It makes you realize, how many innocent lives, were and still are affected by JFK’s death, ongoing today.
I believe this book deserves all the accolades it's been receiving.

This book should be read by every American citizen, as it gives you tons of new information on how and why he died. Besides those two very valuable things, it also tells you who was one of the conspirators. This man, Christopher Fulton, gave up eight and a half years of his life in horrible prisons, one of which was the worst in the country. He lost his wife, his mother, and his grandfather and grandmother because of this situation that he entered into very innocently, and all because he bought JFK's Cartier watch from a man who was the last in the line of the inheritors of the watch. However, it turned out that the man also inherited all of the assassination evidence that had not been processed by the Federal Government, the FBI, the CIA or anyone else. These items were supposed to be analyzed, and even more importantly, they were not supposed to be kept by any individual citizen. That is why this man was hounded and harassed to give the watch back, but he was unaware of this when the watch was sold to him, and he truly believed that this was his personal property to keep. He would not discover this until he had a very unusual, and rare, personal visit from President Reagan at Reagan's request. Reagan also informed him that every president since JFK had agreed to support the Warren Commission Report and its conclusions. This is a MUST READ and a real page-turner for anyone who reads it

This book offered unique and explosive information about a period in our history that is written about frequently. I found this to be interesting and have recommended this book to others that I know that are fans of reading about American history.

Well; I’ve a lot to say about this book. To start with, luckily I’m a Kennedy era aficionado and you need to be to make heads or tails about this story. There’s way too many characters introduced. So much so that it confused even me...& I’ve read umpteen books about the Kennedys. Mr. Fulton should have listed all their names & positions as an addendum to keep things straight. I started to early on but it became overwhelming.

Did I like it? Yes and no. The “who done it” aspect fascinates as it brings things into new prospective. However I’m not particularly fond of the writing style. The Kennedy bits were mostly at the beginning & end. As for the rest; it was like a full season of “Orange Is The New Black”. If I wanted to read a novel on life inside a prison I would have. But I bought this book to learn Mr Fulton’s take on the assassination. The book needs to be edited down, way too much on his journey into prison life. The ending left me hanging. Where did he meet his 2nd wife? That was a glaring omission since she’s a co-author. Very abrupt finish.

The corruption throughout is eye opening and a little scary to be sure. Yikes. I’m a little wiser after reading this.

At first I couldn’t wait to crack this book open but the boring middle left me dazed & confused. I put it down for months. It’s irksome to leave it unfinished after investing so many reading hours so I persevered & can now mark it as read.

If you’re a Kennedy devotee then maybe this book’s for you. If not, take a pass. It’s heavy reading.

So, I read this book mainly because the author is a friend of my parents and my parents spent pretty much a year of their lives editing this book...so part of me felt rather obligated, but the title and the synopsis piqued my attention regardless (mystery, conspiracy, etc). Holy fuck I could barely put this book down. I cannot believe this is non-fiction. Can't say I'm surprised, per se, about things revealed in this book (and other things alluded to) since I've had my own thoughts for decades now about the insidious and downright evil things that have been orchestrated within this country (and outside of it) throughout history but...its definitely a roller-coaster and makes you stop and think for real. Half of me still doesn't believe this is non-fiction. Like for real? If it's real then damn. We're all fucked. But part of me also really wants to continue to believe what we've been told. Ignorance is bliss I guess lol. Anyway it's a damn good read regardless so I highly recommend.

Opens the eyes to who runs the country

This is an important book similar to Mark Lanes trilogy proving the murder of JFK was a coup Dr tat among many other things. It's true Kennedy's murder was a seminal moment in world history and also a massive departure from the foundations principals of the once upon a time American Republic. History is full of lies and half truths. Never trust govt not pledge any allegiance to it. The sub humans that pull the strings are at war with decency, peace, love and ultimately God Almighty. With Kennedy's murder we lost a free press, lost out on peace and have lived with nothing but war and increasing violence at home.
I fully recommend this book and I wish Mr. Fulton good health and happiness. He is a true hero and patriot.

Questions

Looking for reviews. Some things seem questionable coincidences/circumstances. No coherent(to me) explanation of significance of various items. Why did Fulton think he could hold onto assassination related evidence?

This was one of the most compelling books I've read in a long time...I had a hard time putting it down. However, I think I would have dismissed much of it as just beyond belief had I not already read so extensively on the JFK assassination. My previous reading supplied the framework, so I already understood the role of LBJ, the fact that the Secret Service did not provide the customary protection/violated standard procedures, the fact that Lee Harvey Oswald was a military intelligence operative and FBI informant, etc. Had I not had a grasp of the assassination as a coup d’etat, it would have been easier to dismiss the revelations in this book.

What this book added to my understanding of the assassination was connecting the dots of some of the above, and fleshing out some of the details. For example, information from a Secret Service agent was very enlightening as to the “who and how” of JFK not being protected and in fact, deliberately put in danger. An account of what was done by LBJ and his attorney/henchman/ruthless fixer Ed Clark that I read in another book (by Barr McClellan) was corroborated and explained by another witness in Fulton’s book. The similarity of the stories is striking, and many of these facts are independently known/verified by others - for example, the fact that fake Secret Service agents with phony credentials were acting in Dealey Plaza that day. After reading this book, many connections were made for me and I came to understand many details better.

I already knew how ruthless the US government can be, but it is still shocking and disturbing to read the effects of that ruthlessness on an individual life. This book should trouble people and serve as a warning, and it should also open the eyes of anyone who thinks the US government isn’t capable of such malice if you get in their way.

The book ends somewhat abruptly. I would have liked to see an afterword, even a brief one, that brought the reader more up-to-date on Mr. Fulton’s life after prison and how he came to write the book. I think it also would have been good to make clear who is speaking when the narration switches from first-person and how they know what they know. However, my overall assessment is that this book is a must-read for anyone well-versed in the JFK assassination who wants to get a clearer understanding. I greatly appreciate Mr. Fulton’s courage.

Absolutely shocking. I've since watched a few interviews with the author Christopher Fulton just to get a sense of his character and whether I can feel like I can believe his book...because...it's NUTS!!! But, HE is, imho, totally believable, which makes this book even nuttier. I mean, assuming it's true - and he DOES include photos at the end of the book that supports everything in the book - the darkness, cruelty and corruption of the US government truly knows no depths. Obviously, not everyone in the government, but the many who are the ones pulling the strings. If you want to know what really happened to JFK, this lays it out. And, if you want to know how far the US government will go to keep secrets, and to what depths of inhumanity they're willing to inflict on people in the process, this book, in the telling of Christopher Fultons personal hell in the "justice" system puts it all out there too. You've probably read this in other reviews here, but it is a truly mind-blowing, perspective-shifting book that cannot be un-read. And very well written, like an excellent thriller. Can't recommend highly enough.

Pulling my leg

This is a statement my late father used to make and it seems perfectly suitable to this book. It’s so extremely implausible I feel by reading it I’m like the character in Alice in Wonderland who has to believe six impossible things before breakfast. To believe this one accepts that there are som many people in Dallas in 1963 trying to kill Kennedy nots surprising a whole bunch of innocent bystanders weren’t killed with the extra bullets. Also isn’t it amazingly convenient that every human being the author runs into immediately sits down and volunteers critical information that the author never records or makes notes of but somehow remembers years later complete with profanity. Finally, the author implies these shadowy figures (for reasons that make no sense) kill or arrange the deaths of JFK, Jackie Kennedy, John Jr, his wife, his sister in law, the authors wife, dogs, partner, lawyer, dogs, mother and grandparents, not to mention various other people who can’t wait to blah the “truth” to the author, but nobody ever tried to kill the author?

That’s five hours of my life I’ll never get back

The Inheritance, The Poison Fruit of the JFK Assassination” is an amazing read of one man’s decent into the hell of being declared an “enemy” of the US government for possessing evidence from the JFK assassination that laid outside of US government hands by Robert Kennedy’s design.

Simply put, this book is a true history changer that every American needs to read. One is left in shock and horror at the depths that the conspirators who killed Kennedy and installed their illegitimate government in 1963, along with their political descendants, will go to in order to keep the truth from ever coming out.

While it seemed interesting, I had trouble getting through it. The writing style wasn't my favorite and I felt that some things just didn't mesh with what I already knew about characters during that time. In Caro's book on LBJ he makes a fairly convincing argument why LBJ was unaware of the assassination and this book claims he had full knowledge. So while Caro could definitely be wrong combined with the style and a few other things I ended up putting it down half way and while clearly a lot of shady shit happened around the Kennedy's I think this book tries a bit too hard

A shocking true-life account of the mystery surrounding the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Through a strange series of coincidences, Christopher Fulton inherited JFK memorabilia that is actually secret evidence in the case. This caused him to run afoul of elements of our government in their efforts to hide the truth. This book is a page-turner that, ironically, I have to keep stopping and starting in places in order to process new information given. Deeply disturbing, but a book that we all should read.

What an interesting and yet disheartening story! I really wish everyone would have access to this book and read it, especially those more than 35 years of age. It is a real page turner, and hard not make one want to turn Washington DC upside down. I won't tell more than that, to avoid spoiling the read.

I really want to believe everything written in this book. If it was fiction, I'd consider it a 5 star spy thriller. But the author details situations and conversations that he was not present for as fact. Considering he physically can't have known what was said or done it's hard to truly believe the rest of it.

Purchased after watching an interview with the author and took this book to the beach to read. Once I started, I couldn't put it down. Unbelievable inside baseball on government corruption beyond the book's major topic. I'll never look at the federal government the same way. I highly recommend this book!
