“Oh, My God. Floor open and take me straight to Hell,” I said out loud before looking up.
I stood up as tall as I could at my 5’7” and 3-inch heels, thinking about a quick comeback. But dear lord. He was easily a head taller than me. I had still yet to look him in the eyes, currently staring at a very narrow waist, chest, hard planes of muscle could be seen through his light blue shirt.
“You’re tall?” was all I could utter.
He laughed a deep warm laughter and extended his hand.
I swept my hands down his front, discretely, I wasn’t ready to answer nosy co-workers’ questions, not yet, but I had to feel the hard plains of his chest and stomach. I stopped just north of his fly, a knowing smirk tugged at the corner of his lips, and then he disappeared as the crowd swallowed him.
Cooper
I’d crossed a line with Indy, I knew it, texting her late at night and in bed was not employer/employee appropriate behavior.
I tossed my phone to the side and flopped down on the pillow behind me. I wanted her but didn’t want to lose her smart head and wit around the office. The team adored her, listened and wanted to be better just because of her.
Back at my apartment I poured a very large scotch and turned on the fireplace. I sat in the dark nursing my drink and feelings. It was time to come up with a plan because I was getting closer and closer to a situation I wouldn’t recover from.
Falling in love was damn hard.

So first off I got to mention how much I enjoyed and fell in love with all the the minor characters in the book. I believe each character brought a special element to the story which gave the book such a tasteful presentation and flow. Also the best news is that each minor character will have their own story to tell!!! 💃 I’m freaking ecstatic!!! Woop 🙌🏻 Woop 🙌🏻!!

Falling in love with my boss was stupid and also thinking he would reciprocate even more stupid.
Indy and Cooper met years ago at a party. They were supposed to meet after Cooper’s band performed but by the time they were done Indy was nowhere to be found. Now, Cooper is Indy’s boss and the attraction between the two is still as strong as ever.
He’s drop dead gorgeous, and the bastard knows it. The cocky bastard flexes his arms and muscles under the neatly trimmed suit-clad exterior every chance he gets.
This was a short, but explosive office romance. Indy was a feisty, badass heroine. She was a hard worker and Cooper was wrapped around her finger. I love a strong female and Indy fit that bill perfectly. Cooper on the other hand, that man frustrated me at times. I wanted him to talk to Indy, to tell her to wait for him, I wanted him to just stop acting like a stupid idiot and get his stuff together and be with the girl he loves.
You’re it for me. I just can’t the same for you. I’m a selfish bastard, I know. It’s me, not you.
I loved Cooper’s way of wooing Indy back and I am so glad how everything worked out in the end. I enjoyed that Indy became close with Cooper’s friends, especially with Michael. The fact that she was able to reach out to him when times got rough and the fact that Michael was able to knock some sense into Cooper and help him get his girl back.
For anyone who is fan of hot office romances this is definitely one to check out.

Jeg havde glædet mig rigtig meget til at læse den og jeg da jeg gik igang havde jeg svært ved stoppe. Bogen er skrevet er skrevet på engelsk, men meget forståelig og letlæselig sprog.
Historien er en Erotisk roman kombineret med en masse kærlighed og meget andet.
Historien handler om den succesrige unge pige Indy, som bliver headhuntet til et job som SOME Director på det populære reklame bureau Coopers Lounge. Seks år tidligere møder hun Cooper første gang til en fest og de tilbringer en nat sammen og så forsvandt de ud af hinandens liv, indtil at hun kommer til at stå ansigt til ansigt med ham, da det er hendes overordnet chef.
De falder for hinanden, der er dog nogle sten på vejen mellem dem eks. Medarbejder og chef forhold. Han forlader hende liggende i hans lejlighed og ikke besvarer noget som helst fra hende, selvom hun kan se at han læst hendes besked. Man kan nemt identificere sig med Indy og en ting er helt sikkert Cooper kommet for at blive.
Bogen er mere end en anbefaling værd, en super fremragende debut bog som bare skal nydes helt vildt og man kan virkelig ikke gøre andet end elske de personer som medvirker i historie.
Alt i alt, vil jeg give 6 hjerter, for den er virkelig god, men den sødeste kærlighedshistorie, det er bestemt ikke det sidste jeg skal læse fra forfatterinden Louisa Sherman.

Cooper's Craving is the first book For newcomer Louisa Sherman. If this book is any indication of her writing, I expect we will see more coming from her.
The leading characters Indy and Cooper met six years ago when his band was playing at a college hangout. When she runs into him in the hallway, the sparks are flying and a quickie happens. When Indy disappears before the end of the night, but Cooper has lived with the wonderful memory of her. Flash forward six years. Cooper is now a business mogul and unbeknownst to him, Indy runs one of his companies. When Cooper goes to check on the company, he is instantly taken back to the night six years ago. But now the beauty is an employee and should be off limits.
Indy has just found out that a gorgeous man she met six years ago is her boss. She is not sure if he recognizes her, but she remembers the gorgeous man in front of her and their hallway interlude. But she is committed to her job and is good at it. Once she knows her remembers her, she knows that the night can't be repeated. He's her boss. But their chemistry is too much and they revisit that night.
The story has some really strong female characters which I enjoyed. They were take charge in your face kinda women. Not only are the main characters strong, but the supporting characters lead me to believe this is a great start to what could be an amazing series. Louisa Sherman, welcome to the indie book world. We are glad to have you.

Den her brandvarme erotiske historie, nød jeg fra start til slut, det er en intens og glødende second chance spicy romance. Historien og kemien er virkelig god og de erotiske scener er fantastiske. Den handler om at give sig hen, stole på hinanden og hvad der sker hvis man ikke lukker hinanden ind. Give en ekstra chance og dyb kærlighed. Man lever sig fuldstændig ind i New York universet, kan se det lækre lingeri og foto session for det indre øje. Det er svært at forstå dette er den bog som startede LShermans rejse som fuldtidsforfatter og sikke en lækker bog. Hun kan virkelig noget med ord og opbygning af drama, seggs og feelgood. Jeg har læst det meste hun har skrevet, men denne serie manglede jeg. Tusind tak for at tage mig med til New York.

Jeg har læst den her fantastiske historie før på engelsk, og den satte sig i mig så hurtigt og det gjorde forfatteren også og de sidder der begge to endnu…. Jeg er spændt på den danske oversættelse, for at mærke at den varme temperatur stige endnu mere.
Indy og Cooper mødte hinanden til en Halloweenfest i Chicago for seks år siden. Det slog gnister imellem dem, men en misforståelse afsluttede det, de knap nok havde begyndt.
Seks år senere er Indy flyttet til New York og arbejder som marketingdirektør i startup-virksomheden Cooper’s Lounge (ja, den Cooper). Cooper er ikke en aktiv del af virksomheden, indtil han sætter sig i direktørstolen for at lære mere om sin investering.
Cooper har aldrig glemt den smukke hundjævel af en brunette fra Halloween-festen, og han spiller stadig hovedrollen i Indys fantasier. Timingen er langt fra optimal, og det er tricky at være chef og medarbejder. Men Cooper kan ikke slukke sit begær efter Indy …
Vurdering:
Holy moly for en omgang. Jeg ved ikke hvad jeg skal sige…. Den flotteste lækreste forside som gør læseren nysgerrig og måske lidt sulten. Teksten er skrevet utroligt smukt, krydret så der er mere end bare varmegaranti igennem hele bogen. Der er i den grad kredset for detaljerne over alt og det er et kæmpe plus.
Jeg giver 6 dampende hjerter ud af 6 dampende hjerter, fordi jeg fik en fortolkning af denne lækre snack som er blevet mere sexet under oversættelsen og det klæder den virkelig meget. Jeg er blevet ked af det og har mistet mange tårer (tudeture), været vred når nogen virkelig har været en skid og det der er værre, og det allervigtigste: Nyforelsket…. Ulrika har virkelig gjort det igen og specielt med denne - hendes første bogbaby, som startede det hele.

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down, so I read it in a day.
Cooper and Indy's story starts 6 years ago when Indy is in college and first meet Cooper.
At a party the band Chestnut Avenue is playing. And Indy likes what she see, when she look at the lead singer.
But a hot good looking guy, singing bare chested, What's not to like.!
Some years later the strong, confident hardworking Indy starts working for Cooper.
He is the sexy singing CEO of Cooper's Lounge.
The chemestry between Indy and Cooper is off the charts hot.
The story is good and I got all the emotions.
I laughed a lot when Indy with the whip, gets herself in situations where she says the first thing that comes to mind. So funny.
I love the play list to this book.
I can hear Cooper singing "Pretty woman" and "Shape of you." And I swoon.
It makes me fall in love with Cooper and I want him singing for me. ❤

Primera vez que leo a la autora y no creo que continúe con el resto de la serie.
Su estilo no es para mi, faltó mucho desarrollo de la historia para mi gusto. Los personajes son planos y como no se profundiza en ellos, en su personalidad, lo que los mueve, etc., hay acciones que carecen de sentido... no llegué a conocerlos ni empatizar con ellos.
Me dejé llevar por la puntuación que tenía pero fue una decepción total desde mi punto de vista.
Pongo dos estrellas porque no fue tan insoportable como para no terminarlo y eso tiene algo de mérito.

EJ jeg slugte Coopers begær så hurtigt! Endnu en fantastisk god bog fra L. Sherman. Der er virkelig gang i romantikken og det bliver hedt!
Jeg ville dog ønske bog var længere og med mere fokus på udvikling af Cooper og Indys forhold, for der sker så meget under deres møder og forretning som jeg gerne ville vide.
Jeg ville dog ønske bog var længere og med mere fokus på udvikling af Cooper og Indys forhold, for der sker så meget under deres møder og forretning som jeg gerne ville vide.
