She is currently a junior at East Carolina University, and is a triple major of English, Great Books, and Foreign Language - German. She is also the German Club President at ECU, and a member of their equestrian team. Harriet is the owner of a rescue horse named Gallchobhar, and five rescue dogs.

This book is a continuation of the story, and is quite engaging. It is classic good vs evil using a teenage angel hybrid - actually an archangel hybrid- and his efforts to defeat primary evil with all the teenage angst that is possible while he works towards that goal. My continuing problem with the series is the language. No, there is no swearing but if she describes him one more time as ‘the white haired boy’ I might scream. Other than that I definitely want to keep reading the series. In case that sounds like there may have been a cliffhanger, there was a gentle one, setting up the premise for the next book in the series. And yes, it does give me the extra motivation to read the next book, just in case I didn’t already want to, but it wasn’t needed!!

Lots of twists and turns in this one. The series needs to be read in order. Imorean was a regular teenager starting college. He was accepted into a college in Norway. When he gets there, he finds out an archangel, Michael, has gifted him with a part of him when he was just a baby. He also has some angel blood in him from a relative. He has to learn to fight with a personal sword and learn about the enemy. He battles Vortegern himself. It's an intense ride and i loved it. I wish Michael would've been more forth coming with information but I can see why he isn't. I loved all the archangels and the students. Kind of grew attached to them.

Excellent creation of an angel world among us
Like the Unseen Wizard world of Hogwarts, Harriet Carlton has created an angel world among us. High school graduates fly or are transported to schools that will prepare them for the war against demons that threaten the existence of mankind. The very satisfying purpose of preserving honor, loyalty, goodness, friendship, and respect with a dash of humor make this a very worthwhile read for teens and adults. Highly recommended!

So so beautifully written.
There’s so much pain in this book.
While Imorean does need to grow up a bit, there are some good twists especially with Michael and Uriel. There are also some shock factors with a hopeful end.
Roxy is still annoying, but it is all so beautifully written.
Love the pain portrayed.

Great Addition to the Series!
This series has definitely kept my attention. As Imorean grows into his abilities, he meets more and more challenges;physical, emotional and mental. His life is wrapped in grief and he will have to overcome it if he wants to defeat his enemy. Anxiously beginning the last book in the series.

Adventure!
What an exciting addition to this series! And again this isn't the ending. As much as I love the story, the continuing tends to sour! Each book ends leaving you unsatisfied! But I still read on! Its such a good story!
