The war between the Light and Dark aliens continues in Dreamglow with new enemies and new problems for the Light aliens to overcome.
After losing the Overseers and Aurora and Titus now being named the Overseers, they have changed a few of the rules within their race and trying to find ways to ensure their people are happy. One of the biggest changes was allowing Healers to now participate in sexual activities for pleasure and finding love and maybe even mates.
Rose Samuel, ever since she has been dragged into the world of aliens has been trying to find her place within this "perfect" race. One thing she has found that keeps her life interesting is trying to get the newest head Healer, Apollo to notice her and give them a chance.
Apollo has dedicated his life to being the best Healer he could to his people. However, his new mission now is to find his family that has betrayed the Light alien race and his brother who seems obsessed with finding Aurora and taking her for himself. But his attraction to the human Rose and his determination to try and find time for a relationship has him opening Rose to more than just their "relationship".
I absolutely loved getting to read about Apollo and Rose! I can't wait to get more in this series and maybe get to read about Cosmo and his darker side.

This 2nd book picks up where book 1 ends
You have the same characters continuing on with their stories but you must read these in order. Titus and Aurora - goodness that man !!! He really sticks his foot in his mouth . And she has too many wandering thoughts. With some help from Ethan the vampire she has some personality changes. Their bond is stronger in book 2. Rose and Apollo- Rose almost never thinks before she talks and therefore offends so many people. Apollo - what is up with these guys and them not communicating. Their story is kinda the main story of this book. They has some things to work on. I kept wondering about the title of the book and reading some parts you were kinda confused. But the further into the story you go it all makes sense.
Cosmo- oh I like his character but not all the time. He is a little blood thirsty. But the way he is treated really gets to you. There are some new characters along with others you met before in book 1. This is a long book ! At times it is too wordy but you do get answers on so much. The ending was really good the trip Cosmo and Apollo took very enlightening. Cos gives good advice.

In book one of this series we are introduced to a battle "light" and "dark" aliens using human's sexual energy-one to enslave humans-the other to save mankind. Not only do these "aliens" have to protect the humans but they have to protect their hearts as well. Such is the case with Apollo and his relationship with the human Rose. Out of all the fascinating characters in book one I loved Rose the most-maybe because of her humanity, so I was thrilled that she had a big role in this book. Her relationship with Apollo is a roller coaster of emotions and has some shocking moments. It's going to be interesting to see where this leads. The introduction of Native American siblings and the creatures of the underworld left me wanting to know more as well. There's also drama surrounding Aurora and Titus. And Cosmo's revelation creates a new twist. I will definitely be picking up the next in the series to see where to next chapter leads.

When Rose got pulled into the light alien world she never thought that she would actually find her spot in the world . As their therapist and friend and who knew that she would fall in love with the sexy gorgeous healer Apollo . Apollo didn't need the distraction but is Rose really a distraction . He is the lead healer and he must find his family to stop them . Will Rose and Apollo be able to find out what they need in each other and their relationship or will family and the darkness within them will rip them apart .
All the main characters in the first book are back and better then ever . Rose and Apollo have such chemistry that could melt your kindle . The story is well written and continues where book one left off . There are some new characters added to the mix and there is some tension sexual or not between two of the main characters that will have you hoping that they will hook up . The author takes us on a emotional roller coaster ride . You feel like you have been sucker punched a few times through out the book . We can feel for the characters and there are moments when you are trying to figure out why they just blew up the relationship. The only thing that stopped me from giving it a 5 star is that it seemed to drag just a little in a few areas. Over all i loved the story and can't wait to read book three

I didnt think this book could get any more intense then the last but boy was I proven wrong. I'm so happy to see the relationship between rose and apollo blossom they both deserve it. I also thoroughly enjoyed learning more about what makes Cosmo tick as we only have know him as a protector of Aurora up until now. I look forward to seeing what is in store for the next book. I hope we get to find out who is in that cell in Cosmo's secret place, and obviously I want Aurora to give birth and see how her and Titus are as parents. Each book holds more secrets and suspense that keep me coming back for more.

Dreamglow is the second book in the Glowing series. In many ways it is darker than the first book Afterglow. The world building continues at an amazing pace with Rose and Apollo's story. This author takes us to many different levels and evils with this book but is so appropriate for the storyline. Cosmo has to be one of my all time characters because he is so audacious and totally gets away with it. This book entices you into the dreamworld and you wouldn't want to get stuck there. The characters have so much depth that you cannot put this book down. Old characters and new give such richness and flow to this story. You will definitely want to read the next in the series Moonglow.

I actually quite enjoyed the sequel even more than the first book. Definitely kept me on my toes and it was quite the roller-coaster. Its not just about Rose and Apollo but again had Aurora and Titus in it as well. Not everything is what it seems and they have their share of issues. I even teared up! Loved the end. I will say Rose should work on her tact because y'all I would have punched her in the throat for asking my man what made him choose here as a partner! Just sayin....

I love Dreamglow which is the second book in the Glowing Series , the characters are great. The story can go on a roller coaster ride of emotions, everywhere from joy to sadness. I couldn't put it down and I of course love a happy ending. V.J. Lee I fell in love with Afterglow and Dream glow is right there with it. Thank you for writing this series and I'm really hoping that their is book coming

Absolutely loved the first book and the second one meets all my expectations. Can't wait to to read the next one and to finish up this series. I can't seem to put them down once I start absolutely riveting. Such an immersive story and the characters are just spectacular. Can't recommend enough the series or the author.

A sequel that doesn’t disappoint. Rose and Apollo’s chemistry keeps the heat turned all the way up in this story! I also enjoyed seeing more of Aurora and Titus. So many things going on, keeping you on the edge of your seat. Never a dull moment! Looking forward to reading what comes next.

Rose, whom we met previously, has become the Light Ones' therapist. Apollo, who is a Healer, can't believe the beauty who was once with Titus. She distracts him. He can't have that with a new evil emerging. Will Rose and Apollo get their happily ever after?

Rose and Apollo's relationship has its ups and downs, while their chemistry is continuously off the charts! Aurora and Titus play a prominent part in this book as well. We learn more about Cosmo and Draco, too. The suspense and intensity makes this a page turner.

I was so happy to see this was Apollo's story to me he is so perfect and I couldn't wait to see who he would end up with!! I love the new turn the overseers are giving to the healers life!!! This is such an awesome series!!! Do not miss it guys, you need to read this

Wow!!! This series just keeps getting better and better!! We dive deeper into Rose and Apollo's story and boy, will you enjoy it. There is still spice, war and so many ups and downs that you won't be able to stop reading!!! So looking forward to book 3!!!

Very good read!
This book was better than the first. It may have been that I was already invested in the characters stories. I do look forward for the third to come out.

I will warn that like the first there are some scenes that may trigger some people. I would advise those triggered easily to be careful when reading.
Aside from the triggers, it was very well written, only a very few typos. The storyline kept me guessing, and enthralled.
As with the first, I would be careful of who I recommended this book to for trigger purposes.

Fabulous!!
I'm totally in love with series!! I so cannot wait for the next book in this series!! So many questions yet to be answered!! That being said V.J. Lee totally answered questions from the first book and brought many questions full circle! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and could hardly put it down. V.J. has created a unique Nd beautiful world in these books and I for one can hardly wait to see what comes next!!

November 13, 2019I loved the first book and the second book has truly been worth the wait. The author dives deeper into this wonderful world of light aliens. Rose and Apollos story has great depth to it and it kept me hooked. Their story has it all unexpected twists, sad moments, funny moments and lots of hot steamy sexy moments. VJ LEE has an amazing talent for writing. I can't wait to see what comes next in this book series.
