My life changed when I posted an ad on Crescent Cove’s Facebook Wanted page.
I wasn’t looking for a used car, but what I was looking for counted as a need too, right?

Nothing.
Then I got a reply.

In Baby Daddy Wanted, Vee is past waiting for Mr Right and decides that she is ready to have a baby on her own. When she accidentally posts a ‘Baby Daddy Wanted’ ad on the town’s Facebook home page instead of the intended group page, the ad goes viral. What she didn’t count on was every horndog in Crescent Cove offering their services.
Murphy Mason has been crushing on Vee for a while. With every attempt he has made to even speak to Vee he struggles because of his social anxiety. Once he realizes Vee’s placed an ad for a baby daddy he knows he must quickly overcome his awkwardness or miss out.
Murphy anonymously contacts her over messenger and so begins a series of messages that allows them to get to know one another. Unfortunately Vee thinks that she is interested in two different men...
This was a super sweet story about an extremely adorable gentle giant who wants more then just to impregnate the sweet little town baker.
Ok so I might have a cavity after this read, but it was exactly what I was in the mood for!

I cannot waste my time reading books like this. Sometimes I really wonder why I actually go and get books like this. In hindsight I guess because it was on sale rather than it's usual value. I honestly have better books to be reading. I do not want to be so condensing but I cannot help it. I am sure there are many more out there who truly loved this book but I guess I am leaving the age where plots such as this truly excite me, or even get me to read it till the end. Yes, I did not finish this book. Abandoned it at around 85% mark. I could have braved the last 15% but I just could not stomach it. The only good thing for me in the book was Latte. I am sucker for dogs. *cue in Jonas Brothers Sucker*

This story has it all, a shy guy that is hot AF and doesn't even know it, a beautiful girl that is ready for motherhood even if she can't have the man she fantasizes about, a secret that keeps Vee guessing for a while, and a great story line that grabs you right away with the two lovable characters that have you rooting for them right from the start.
Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn have come together to give us a heartwarming story of two people finding their way together, maybe not in the most conventional of ways but in a way that worked for them. This story had a lot of laugh out loud moments, some tender sweet moments, and plenty of hot and steamy moments as well. This was a great addition to the series, but don't worry if you have't read them yet they can each be read as a standalone. Happy Reading!!!

There was something sweet, sexy and unassuming about Baby Daddy Wanted and a lot of that had to do with the hero in this book and the fact that he’s been interested in the heroine for awhile, but his shyness kept him from going after what he wanted until she unknowingly advertises for a baby daddy on the town’s Facebook page. While on the sweeter side of romance, our hero is all about treating a woman right which isn’t a bad thing, this writing duo kicks up the sexiness a notch when they finally give in to the attraction and passion between them.
All her life Veronica (Vee) has wanted a home and a family and the normalcy she’s never known and with no man in sight and all the new babies running around town, Vee has decided to find a man to father her child and she’s willing to raise it on her own if he doesn’t want to be involved. While the ad she placed winds up on the wrong page and she gets a lot of unwanted and negative attention, she also finds herself intrigued by someone who has reached out via messenger willing to help her out.
Murphy (Moose) has never quite fit in anywhere especially in his own family where his brothers were all handsome and athletic and he was happier inside and working on his computer. Very few people in town know he’s a successful video game designer and know him only as someone who works construction around town. He knows he’s not that great of a catch compared to his brothers and friends, but he’s always held out hope that Vee, the woman whose baked goods are a dream and coffee gets him going will take notice, but when he sees her add for a baby daddy, he decides to make his move, but in an unconventional way.
I truly enjoyed watching Vee and Murphy get to know one another through their online chats and their face to face interactions even when she didn’t realize he was her online friend. Murphy is one of those heroes I can’t resist, a good guy who always tries to do the right thing even if he does screw up once in a while. For awhile I wasn’t sure I understood Vee very well and then well, we meet her mother and things become crystal clear where she’s coming from. I loved that both Vee and Murphy got a bit tongue tied with each other, that you could feel the attraction between them, but they were also both a bit apprehensive about going from acquaintances to more.
The other couples from this series make some cameo appearances letting us see how they are faring in parenthood and offering a bit of comic relief as well.
Sweet, sexy, with loads of charm and sass, I loved Baby Daddy Wanted.

The baby making continued in another fun installment in this series. Yet another Cresent Cove lady is read for a baby and she posted the ad (accidentally) on the town's Facebook page. Now all the weirdos, a few of the good guys and one secretive Fortress are up in Vee's inbox trying to supply the baby batter for the sexy baker.
For the first part of this book I didnt like Veronica, she was just a bit too desperate with her baby schemes especially as her idea didn't seem as well thought out as it should've been. A baby on her salary with her hours and no help? Definitely a bit too desperate. She's been trying to make up for her rootless childhood with a mother who was a bit careless with her child's needs. Later on as she settled in her relationship with Murphy I came to like her a bit more however.
Murphy came across as a shy, reclusive construction worker but he was a closet nerd who'd had a crush on Veronica for quite a while. He was a sweetheart and absolutely devoted to her. In the latter half of the book and especially in the epilogues he seemed to be more settled and confident, at that point I was swooning over Murphy.
This one was a bit different in the formula as the baby making didn't happen as planned. These books are pretty simple, low angst,sexy and sometimes funny. I've enjoyed them and will definitely read more in this series. The epilogues are all the damn things!!!

Taryn Quinn, the by line of very productive duo Taryn Elliott and Cary Quinn, are at it again giving us a super sweet, sexy and touching story about a woman who greatly wants a baby and the man who’s secretly been dreaming of giving her one and so much more.
Veronica Dixon had had enough of waiting for her prince Charming to show up, sweep her off her feet and give her a happy ever after. She wanted a baby to love and was willing to post a Baby Daddy wanted ad online. She didn’t expect a sweet yet concerned email, but when she got it she didn’t hesitate to respond. Funny emails turned into sexy texts, which turned into chats that led to Veronica finding out who her online Baby Daddy wannabe was… and what a surprise that was!
Murphy is the youngest in his family. He’s a self-proclaimed klutz/hermit, but is also a good son and brother, a hard working carpenter and a very smart and successful online game designer who dreams about being with Veronica but is too timid to do anything about it. Until he sees her ad and reaches out. As a concerned acquaintance. Through his scarcely known gamming account and they hit it off. And then she finds out his true identity.
This was such a delightfully sweet and cute story. Both Murphy and Veronica are endearing characters, and a fun, sexy couple. I fell complete for Murphy, the big teddy bear who knew just when to go all sensual alpha caveman and Veronica for having the courage to go after what she wanted. The supporting characters are also a fun treat from previous books.
The small town back drop fueled all the hoopla around Veronica’s quest to have a baby, but also added an ingratiating layer to the story of two didn’t think they’d find love.
Baby Daddy Wanted is book #5 of the Dirty DIFLs series by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot. It’s a standalone, contemporary romance, told by both main characters, no cheating, with a happy ending. Extra epilogue written for this book.

overall a nice read.. decided to take on some lighter books before my exam starts!! this is another "baby daddy" troupe and I think it was written pretty well.. you get the humour, you get the moments btwn H&h and ofc you get the sexy times! 4 stars for me!

What happens when you are desperate for a baby. You post online in FB baby daddy wanted, only you post it on the wrong group forum. Now the fun begins. The male population of your city is answering with every innuendo from dirty to not so dirty, some married are even offering their sperm donation. Only the one she is most interested in won't even speak to her.
So she continues going to work, baking up a storm of sweets and bread to the delight of the customers where she works. Also, she is placed in a direct line of verbal fire from all the male comments of her desire to become pregnant.
Vee takes the comments by ignoring them as she watches the one male she cannot understand why he won't talk to her. He won't even place his coffee order with her. He doesn't have a problem talking to the other girls who work with her.
Murphy/Moose wants so much to talk to Veronica but for some reason, no words will come out, not even to place a coffee order and when he read the baby daddy wanted post, he knew he had to a way to communicate with her. So he sent her an email.

I just adored everything about this book. The characters were so easy to fall for and their connection and chemistry was absolutely wonderful. Opposites attract was a phrase that fit them so well.
Murphy was unlike any other book boyfriend I have come across, but I think that’s what made him so much more endearing to me. He was shy, socially awkward and extremely introverted; which made it that much difficult to talk to the girl of his dreams...Veronica aka Vee. She was spirited and quirky, friendly to everyone and yet she couldn’t break through Murphy’s shell.
Their story was just so remarkably sweet and funny and adorable!!

I really enjoyed this one, but did find it a little confusing in places about who was with who, so I'd definitely recommend reading this series in order. This is the first book I've read by the author and I'd definitely read her other books. I also enjoyed the bonus epilogue you can download at the end

A laugh riot
I have laughed so hard, I've cried. The one liners in this book. The nicknames. What the town and HOW the town talks about her, it's genius. Picture the smallest town you know about. Then picture that same town with the town baker advertising for a baby maker. I'm laughing just thinking about it.

I needed this book today! Hazel Kelly writes the most loveable everyday heroes and Baby Daddy Wanted hit everything off my checklist for a five star (or higher) review. It had me grinning and sighing the entire time. She writes characters that are so relatable and Maeve and Finn go down as my new favorite of all of her couples. I love that they met by chance and were smitten with each other from the start.
After being ceremoniously dumped by her boyfriend, Maeve does some soul searching of her own and realizes she was settling. Nate wasn’t the one, but on paper he looked like Mr. Right, so she tried to make it work. She was in a comfortable place, but he didn’t leave her breathless, and I could really relate to Maeve. She embraced her situation, and knew that she deserved more. That being "comfortable" isn't enough, and that it's better to be alone than in the wrong relationship.
She was a smart, educated, independent woman in a management position in a career that she loved. I admired how she rocked the business world and was confident in her own skin, but wasn’t afraid to admit when she struggled or had self-doubt. She could easily admit her flaws and owned them, and that made her someone I would want to be friends with in real life. She was a class act and seemed to have everything except true love, but that wasn’t necessary to meet her heart’s true desire which was to become a mother.
She met Finn in a bar on New Year’s Eve, and from the first time they laid eyes on each other, I was hooked. Finn had charisma and a bit of swagger regarding his musical talent, but was so down to earth and humble. I loved that about him. He knew from the start that Maeve wasn’t like other women he met, she was the whole package, and he set his sights on learning more about her. Their witty banter and subtle flirting was my absolute favorite part of the book. While getting to know each other, he was not afraid to shock her with a line that always left her feeling beautiful and special. It wasn’t just a line though, because Finn was falling hook, line, and sinker.
I love how he helps her let down her guard and how she easily admits how uptight she can be. It was very emotional how he confides in her about his rocky relationship with his twin brother, and when his brother asked for forgiveness regarding his alcoholism.
These two had such explosive chemistry, and such a sweet, yet super steamy relationship. It was such a pleasure to read because they were not only insanely attracted to each other, they really enjoyed being with each other. They made time for each other and it was so swoony how he planned their first date, and how he wanted her to spend the night. This book isn’t about an alphahole, a player or billionaire, or someone with a horrible upbringing...it’s just two people who crossed paths and are navigating life trying to decide their future.
But as you can tell from the title of the book, it is no secret that she wants to get pregnant, and she leans on Finn to help to her make the right decision. I admired how up-front she was from the beginning, how they both handled this situation, and how they both got the happily ever after they were so deserving of. I adored naked pancakes, his singing and songwriting, how playful they were with his dog, and how she literally learned to let her hair down and enjoy life. The writing was captivating and the story naturally flowed making me want more and more.

Plot: Vee has decided that she wants a baby, and not having a partner is not going to stop her. But she becomes the talk of the town when she accidentally puts her ad for a baby maker on the town's facebook page instead of the group she meant. There is someone in town who would be happy to help her though. Murphy has had a thing for her for a long time and he just needs to get up the courage to say something. He can't, but maybe his alter ego can. But he'll have to tell her at some point.
Commentary: So Vee really wants a baby enough to advertise for one (weirdly, to have one the natural way - meaning she's going to go have sex with whomever she chooses from her advertisement, rather than through artificial means). It's a little weird when Moose/Murphy is right there, if one of them could just get up enough courage! I did like Murphy as a hero, especially since he was insecure in the way that our heroines usually are and he's the one who needed the reassurance of seeing how attractive Veronica finds him.
eta: I hate when people use the phrase "Hollyweird." It's almost always used as sort of in-group coded language for right-wing conservatives who are letting you know that they "don't hold truck with those leftist liberal movie stars" as if they're not watching as many movies and listening to as much radio and viewing as much streaming TV as the rest of us. It's so dismissive of the entire entertainment industry (except for Kirk Cameron - they don't mean him) and while I think actors are paid way too much for what they do, it's a system we've created and perpetuated, and no amount of thinking that the people in LA drink baby's blood and order trafficked children from Wayfair is going to upend the movie industry. I noticed that the authors used that here and in another book further in the series. It's a small thing that just me, personally.

It's almost always used as sort of in-group coded language for right-wing conservatives who are letting you know that they "don't hold truck with those leftist liberal movie stars" as if they're not watching as many movies and listening to as much radio and viewing as much streaming TV as the rest of us. It's so dismissive of the entire entertainment industry (except for Kirk Cameron - they don't mean him) and while I think actors are paid way too much for what they do, it's a system we've created and perpetuated, and no amount of thinking that the people in LA drink baby's blood and order trafficked children from Wayfair is going to upend the movie industry. I noticed that the authors used that here and in another book further in the series. It's a small thing that just me, personally.

Time for another visit to Crescent Cove where if you don't want to get pregnant, don't drink the water or go to Brewed Awakening lol. 🙂
This time it's sweet baker, Veronica, or Vee, who is ready for a baby. tired of waiting for her Prince Charming or Knight in Shining Armor, she's decided to forgo the relationship part and skip right to the baby making. By making an ill advised Facebook post, she brought all sorts of unwanted attention upon herself, bless her heart.
Murphy, or Moose, is the quiet hunk interested in her, but too shy to do anything about it, until reading that post. Vee is interested in him, too, but is also too shy to do anything about it. Murphy creates an alter ego who is a bit more social and engages Vee in some online banter in response to the post. Vee is torn between her feelings for Murphy and her growing feelings for her online friend.
Murphy was an interesting character, and a bit different from many male leads. He has baggage and, although successful, has a serious lack of self confidence on a personal level. He'd found fault with his physique and made himself over into a well built male. Vee had baggage of her own as her mother was a seemingly uncaring rolling stone. This colored her views on herself and worthiness for love.
It was fun watching as she discovers that her Murphy and her online man are one and the same, and then watching their relationship grow. It was quite amusing as the whole town knows of Vee's post and assumes that she's just using him for his swimmers, as he puts it. They brought out the best in each other. He comes out of his shell and his confidence grows, as does hers.
I love this series because we get to revisit with couples from the previous books and get a look ahead to who I hope are in upcoming books. I can't wait to read Macy's story. She's my favorite. We got to see another layer of Gideon, too. I know we'll have to wait for them, but I'm looking forward to the next one.

This one was cute. I laughed at how Vee posted her "want ad" in the wrong place and all the attention it brought her. About the only really good thing about it was how it seemed to spur Murphy into doing something instead of just pining after Vee.
I loved their emails back and forth as they got to know each other. Sure Murphy had the upper hand, but he didn't abuse things. It was great when Vee finally found out just who she was talking to. I liked that it didn't throw things off, just made them both happy they were on the same page.
The ending was perfect for these two and happened just the way it was supposed to.

Sweet and sexy
I loved the story between Veronica and Murphy but all of the characters are hard to keep straight. Veronica is the baker at Macy's coffee shop and has had a crush on Murphy but he gets all tongue tied around her, so she doesn't think he's interested. Veronica aka Vee gets baby fever and puts out an online ad for a baby daddy. She gets several replies but the one that sticks out is the one from Cabin Fortress so they start to chat in the meantime Murphy starts to open up to Vee and she starts to fall for her Fortress and Murphy. Vee is confused thinking she has to choose one or the other but is very happily surprised to learn they are the same person. Murphy is super sweet and is Vee's rock. Murphy & Vee make a super cute couple, they get their hea.

Book 5 in the Crescent Cove/Dirty DILFs series follows much of the same formula as the other books in the series. Only Veronica WANTS to have a baby and she'll go to any length to get what she wants. This is one of those couples who have seen each other around, share a lot of friends in common, yet have never had more than an acquaintanceship. Kai and Wen have brought these characters to life! They make me forget that the characters are not REAL. Awesome narration!

This is book 5 in the Dirty DILFs series and it can absolutely be read as a stand alone although I recommend reading the previous books because you do see those characters in this book as well. Along with meeting the main character in this book. This one is about Murphy and Veronica (Vee). Vee works with Macy in her coffee shop as the baker. When she decides that she is done waiting for the "one" and wants to have kids now, she places an ad to try to find a baby daddy. Only she places the ad on the wrong page and now the whole town knows about what she wants. Murphy has wanted Vee since the first time he saw her. But he is so shy that he doesn't think he will ever get the nerve up to even talk to her let alone ask her out. But when he see's the ad-he offers to help her take it down and asks if she is alright through an email. Without giving his name. Which leads to the chance for them to get to know each other without all the shyness and town drama getting in the way. But once she finds out who he is, will she still want to spend time with him? Or let what they have become something more?
I absolutely loved this story! Vee definitely has issues because of how her mother is and always has been. But she tries not to let them stand in her way and drag her down. And I love that about her! It took me a little time to get into this story but once I did, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s such a sweet, gentle comedy which had me laughing out loud and snorting in several places. I really love Murphy. He is a gorgeous, awkward, cuddly mountain of a man who has admired Veronica from afar for a long time. These authors do a terrific job of giving him just the right balance of confidence and charm, without the arrogance to go with it. Don’t get me wrong, he’s no wimp, just a decent guy who is a little more introverted than the friends and family he is surrounded with. He’s taken top spot as my favourite book boyfriend in this series.
Too tongue tied to speak to her in person, Veronica’s ‘baby daddy wanted’ online ad provides this shy man with the perfect opportunity to swap emails, and for them to get to know each other before his identity is revealed. These two are adorable and once they get over their respective clumsiness around each other, and let their chemistry take over, their relationship is a joy to read. From that point on, they waste no time and, oh boy do things heat up between them. I love the way that Murphy will do anything for Veronica and one look can turn the temperature from simmering to boiling. Although there’s a little drama, there’s no real angst, or terrible misunderstandings that make you want to scream at your kindle, just a delightful relationship building between them. A great cast of supporting characters, with their own quirky personalities, add a lovely family feel to the story and provide first rate entertainment of their own.
Overall, this is a cute, fun, witty read, gently romantic, yet deliciously steamy at the same time. Although this is part of an interconnected series, in my opinion Baby Daddy Wanted can absolutely be read as a stand-alone.

Baby Daddy Wanted was actually my first dive into the Crescent Cove series. However, from what I've gathered after just reading this one, the entire series is based on couples who live in Crescent Cove and want babies anyway they can get them...It's like it's own baby fever city!
For Veronica (aka Vee), she's gotten bit by the baby bug and was sure even though here methods were a bit unconventional, she would have no issues finding a man who would donate some baby batter to help her with her goal. However, everything changes when she posts a "help wanted" ad (if you can call it that) to the local Facebook page rather than a group. Now she's got all the creeps and busybodies bugging her at all hours of the day. But once message stands out from all the others and just maybe Fortress could be the man to help her achieve her end goal.
Murphy is your average construction worker who just so happens to have a secret side that nobody knows about. When he's not out helping his friend fix tree-houses or working to help improve the houses around the small town, he's locked away in his remote cabin developing popular zombie games. But he also has another not-so secret crush on the local baker who's recently advertised she's looking for a baby daddy. Can Murphy finally get up the courage to confess to Vee how he feels? Will Murphy be content just donating and spending a little time with a baby he's made when he's so in love with Vee?

It's not really a trope I've read before (not saying I haven't, because I'm sure I have with all the reading I do, but it's not one I remember being a popular one in my reading). Sweet, sexy, romantic and an abundance of sexiness all combine for the perfect man in this adorably sexy story story from one of my favorite author duos. It is part of the Dirty DILFs series set in Crescent Cove but it reads as a complete standalone so new readers can jump right on in.
Veronica (aka "Vee) is sweet and funny and just this side of kooky. Her accidental public posting for a baby daddy leads to all sorts of funny antics by the townspeople of Crescent Cove. Murphy....shy and adorable Murphy has a hard time speaking to Veronica however he finds the perfect way to break the ice and these two are off and running. The chemistry between Vee and Murphy is fabulous. Their push and pull before they get together is both adorable and awkward at the same time. But once they are together, there's nothing awkward about it! These two are smoking hot! And the duo behind Quinn, always adept at writing sexy times works their magic in the best ways. Seriously, Murphy is total book boyfriend material! I'm pretty sure he has soared to the top of my list for favorite Quinn men!!!

Sometimes I forget how great this author duo is...I'm off reading some other books that were ok, but then I come back and WOW! The visuals this duo write that can bring a reader into their created world is amazing! They really need to take the paranormal genre by storm - the world building would be unbelievable (hint! hint! pretty please :) )
So, back to small town Crescent Cove, one of my favorite places. This is the fifth book in this series and each is a standalone but lets you visit with previous characters from each book, which is very believable, as this is based in a small New England Town and our circle of friends in that town is growing. This installment is based around Vee the baker at the town cafe and Murphy the quiet hulking man who hides his intellect with his carpentry day job, yet is a super computer geek by night! Babies are everywhere in Crescent Cove and Vee our heroine is feeling left out and wanting one bad! An accidental ad looking for a baby daddy on the towns Facebook page is the beginning of our romance and it only gets better from there! This book was sent to me by the authors for an honest review. To me, this is the best book so far in this series. Murphy and Veronica were perfect together. Since the baby bug seems to have hit town, Veronica has decided she also wants a baby. Only problem is, she doesn't have a guy in her life. She posts an ad looking for a guy who would be interested in helping her with her goal. However, the post did not go to where she had intended it to go. It went to the town facebook page, letting the whole town what her plan is. Murphy has had a crush on her since she moved to town but has been too shy to let talk to her. He is shocked when he reads her ad but he thinks maybe he can use this to see if he has a real chance with her. Everytime he goes to where she works, he still gets tongue tied. He ends up chatting with her online under a username she wouldn't be able to trace back to him. They grow closer and start flirting big time. She has no clue who it is but enjoys the emails and chats. She also feels guilty because she is interested in Murphy but thinks that he doesn't care for her. When she discovers who Cabin Fortress is, she is hurt and mad at first but then is excited that gets both. Murphy is happy that he if finally getting his dream girl. He is just afraid that she only wants him for one thing when he wants the whole package with her. I loved their emails to each other at the beginning of the chapters. Murphy is the perfect guy. He isn't a playboy and isn't cocky and the way he treated Veronica was so sweet. I'm looking forward to the next book to see if it will be as good as this one.
