Have we met? No? Well it's time to end that tragedy.
I'm a former firefighter/EMS guy who's picked up the proverbial pen and started writing bad boy romance stories. I co-write with my sister, Ali Parker, but live in Texas with my wife, my two little boys, my daughter, two dogs, three cats, and a turtle.
Yep. A turtle. You read that right. Don't be jealous.
You're going to find Billionaires, Bad Boys, Military Guys and loads of sexiness.
Something for everyone, hopefully. I'd love to connect with you. Check out the links below and come find me.
Spoilers.. The initial idea was good but it fell really flat. First time reading this author and prob won't read again. Theres no worldbuilding, absolutely no character development, they actually reverted over and over so lots of eye rolling there. She constantly cried how she needed to stay away from him then he would literally drag her to his house and, with some serious dubcon, have a spicy scene.
The plot, such as it was, was made easily known in the first couple chapters. Every interaction with the step-mom was "man she's acting super cagey and suspicious but oh well, she's a woman so I'm gonna ignore her threat value" The MMC was supposedly some tough military guy who couldn't figure out a clue if it hit him in the face. Literally seeing suspicious behavior and actively choosing to ignore it. In the end, not a ton of it made sense as a story. It just kept going and felt forced to make a word count.
I enjoyed the story. There were some major issues I had with the characters themselves but I liked the story. I never like a woman that could have a baby and not tell the father, even if their afraid. The problem is Sabrina acts like she kept it from him to protect her kid but she didn't, there were big selfish reasons. I can't say anything further because I don't want to spoil the story. But one of the things Sabrina never understood is she took away Ax's choices. In the end I liked the story, the plot but I had big issues with the whole hiding your child from her father when he came back in the picture.
I Love this book and the story line, I want to finish it but I can't find the rest of it anywhere... I just spent an hour looking for part 2 so now I just get to be disappointed and not see how Ax and Sabrina's story ends. Extremely disappointing!
I usually love Weston Parker, but this had to be the dumbest, most blind, and overly aggressive group of "billionaires" ever! Oh yeah my daughter is in danger and everything is going to s#!t let's f#!k. So poorly written compared to his other work :(
I’ve read and enjoyed many books by this author so didn’t hesitate to read this book. Big mistake. This story is so far fetched and frankly stupid Do yourself a favour and don’t bother reading this book. Don’t waste your time
I absolutely loved this book. Ax and Sabrina's story was filled with so many twists and turns I couldn't put it down. The love for lex brought out the Mama and Papa Bears in Ax and Sabrina. A definite must read.
When life gives you lemons, sometimes you need a shot of tequila. Her high school sweetheArt has been released from prison and Finally finds he is a father of a 9 year old. More shocking is how she kept this a secret from him
This Book also goes by the title: Mine Forever #1 (The Billionaire Biker Series)
Alexander "Ax" Craven and Sabrina Jacobs are the hero and heroine in this small town love story.
The story takes place in Cape Craven, North Carolina . . . yes, the town was founded by Ax's paternal grandfather . . . a couple times removed but I forget how "great" grandfather he was.
After the Andrea Mitchell "fiasco" he wins her back by having the high school band march through a field she asses on the way home playing her favorite Rhianna song while hiding behind the tuba player with flowers for her . . . this is his invitation to her for the prom.
Ax heads to the military while Brent, his younger brother who was tutored at home all through school then shows up back home after college "weasels" his way into the community and becomes the favorite son while Ax serves 5 years in the military in Special Ops.
This book is so bittersweet . . . both still in love yet neither will admit it.
Weston Park has a new fan! I read this book straight through. Alexander Craven (aka Ax) has recently been released from prison after serving a five year sentence for a crime he did not commit. He was set up by his brother and went from being the Cape Craven's resident war hero to a convict. Returning to Cape Crave, Ax has one thing on his mind...vengence against his brother. He knows his plans will return him to prison, but his brother will be there alongside him. That is until he comes face to face with his high school sweetheart...Sabrina. But Sabrina is hiding a secret...and Ax must decide if his feelings for her are strong enough to overcome the soul searing vengence.
First I have to say that I dislike cliffhanger books, however this book had me so into the story that I didn't mind it ending on a cliffhanger.
Unfortunately I will not be reading more. I am a working adult and like the female lead, I can't afford to frivolously spend money. I wish this author had the rest of the trilogy in KU, they'd so be read immediately.
If you can buy the books I highly recommend this book, I couldn't put it down.
A son betrayed by his brother, his name blackened and his life destroyed, returns home for revenge, and runs into the girl that he left behind.
She is raising a child that he does not know about, supporting an ill mother, working for his family's foundation. He's only back for revenge on his brother, the brother that is slowly taking over the family business. This book would have been a four star, except for the massive cliffhanger where it was ended, and cliffhangers in the middle of a story are really annoying.
Gotta read book 2 & 3. Ax and Sabrina rediscovering each other after years of personal conflicts, misunderstandings and betrayal experience many more dilemmas which may tear them apart or unite them. With Ax planning vengeance against his brother is now distracted by the sudden discovery he fathered a daughter with Sabrina...not all is right in Alexander Cravens world but that's only the beginning. Awesome read.
This story drew me in within seconds. The story is so intense that I could not put it down! Ax is a man full of pain and is not taking anyone’s crap for what he’s been through. Sabrina is a strong single mom who has had to fight her way through and hanging onto the love she feels for one man. Wow this story has me on the edge of my seat. Cannot wait to see what’s next !!!!
Title is wrong this is not a story about a billionaire biker. Ax is not a billionaire nor a biker. He's a billionaire's son who's owns a bike. It was a hard story to get through. Sabrina is made to look like a weak single mother and the author tries to make Ax seem rough and tough he's not.
This book was amazing ! I loved reading about Sabrina and Ax aka Alexander Craven the local bad boy billionaire turned local war hero and let's not forget about him being a father to a ten year old daughter he knew nothing about can't wait to read book two.
This was a great story filled with decent characters and story line but I think what ruined it for me was the fact that it ended in a cliff hanger. Now to get the rest of the story we are expected to buy #2 and #3. I don't care at all for cliff hangers, if I knew it was one I wouldn't have read it.
I'm giving this book 4 stars because I really like the pace. Of course, the writing is great, but the timing and well-placed humor keep the plot moving at the perfect pace. Ax's plan isn't revealed yet, but we see him begin to struggle with the concept versus the reality of what he finds. Sabrina is interesting and conflicted in ways that make her believable. Well ... on to book 2.
First off I read the whole book clueless that the author was a man (not saying men can write romance because clearly they can) I love the surprise ending and can't wait to get my hands on the next book. Great story line and perspective on both Ax and Sabrina. Man did his research!
Beware. This book is just the beginning of a series. It’s a good read but very incomplete. Just the start. Also has a lot of adult material that after awhile I had to just skim past.
A story of two people finding their way back to each other.
Through some of the worst times they still have strong feelings for one another. Can they over come everything and find happiness? It will keep you wanting to know more.
This series reads as one book. Books one and two have a cliffhanger-like ending. I give this specific book 4.5 stars. This book goes from heart-pounding to heart stopping. It's by far my favorite of the 3 books in this series. I give the whole series 4 stars.
It's too bad that authors do this crap. I really enjoyed the book and probably would have enjoyed the series but I refuse to be bullied into it. I will not be continuing the series.
