This book takes you through all four seasons and tells you what happens on the farm during each of these. It shows what happens to the animals and the land during each of these times. Not all seasons are good for farmers, so it also takes you through the bad winter seasons for them and what they experience.
I liked this book. I think it is very informational and students would love looking at the pictures.
I think this could be used in the classroom to talk about many different things. You could talk about seasons, or different animals, or even farming. If you had students who loved animals, this would be perfect for them! You could use this to match the season with the correct picture if you printed out a bunch of different pictures from this book. You could even have a classroom activity where you plant flowers in the springtime and read this book. This would also be fun to read if you go on a field trip to the zoo.
