Stumbled upon this at the Poet's House in Manhattan and gah! What a find! Simple yet beautiful poems presented in Spanish and English.

me duele
verte así

gastando
tus ojos
y tu tiempo

en eso
que llamas
poemas.
--"Consejos de una madre"

(It hurts me
to see you like this

wasting
your eyes
and your time

in those
that you call
poems.)

I also loved:
-"Gramática/Grammar"
-"Naturaleza criminal/Natural Criminal"
-"Una pequeña gran victoria/A Small but Fateful Victory"
-"Un Beso Is Not a Kiss"
-"El amor no existe/Love Doesn't Exist"

“por nuestro
pueblo
hablarán
estos muros

elocuentes
apuntarán
así amaron
esos locos

hermosas
sinfonías
saldrán
de garabatos

ahí mismo
quedará
nuestra vida
por descifrarse”
