4,5 💘💘💘💘 🦊 🌟🌟🌟🌟s❣️❣️❣️❣️

Jerilee Kaye wrote such a beautiful love story❣️❣️❣️❣️
It was romantic, full of love, with great pace, loveable characters, totally addictive‼️
Although I had a suspicion of the revelation that came out (at the gazebo), to be honest it didn’t thrill me. I thought it was excessive. But I should keep in mind that it’s a Destiny’s Game.

“Justin Adams is worth falling head over heels in love with ... over and over again.’ Adrienne

.... I couldn’t agree more ❣️❣️❣️❣️

I have read this book plenty of times on Wattpad and I have played the interactive game version on Chapters and this book NEVER GETS OLD!
I just can't get enough of Justin Adams.
I am telling you, if you need a good steamy romance book to escape to, CHOOSE THIS BOOK! This is a book you never get tired of reading.
This is full of thrill, excitement, a lot of romance and drama and wait, it gave me a lot of laughter too! I lost count of how many times I smiled like an idiot reading this book!
Justin Adams is a guy to die for. Really! He's hot, he's smart, he's rich. He's a playboy who got whipped and never looked back to playing the field.
This book is a not a cliché at all! I don't want to spoil it for the other readers, but you will be surprised at how many twists and turns this story has! The plot twists made me fall off my chair the first time I read it! It is amazing!
Jerilee Kaye is known to take a simple cliché plot and create a crazy plot twist that makes a wonderful, exciting rollercoaster ride of emotions. If you think you got her books figured out, you're wrong. Just read it until the end and you'll want to reread them over and over.
I smiled like an idiot, I got mad at the characters to the point of wanting to throw my phone across the room, I cried like a baby and I laughed like a lunatic! THIS BOOK IS THAT GOOD! The author is that that good at playing with your emotions!
This book is not just good to read. It's good to own! Because trust me, you will read it over and over and over again!

Her friends are obnoxious as hell. I can‘t understand why Adrienne would want to be friends with them. All they do is telling her that she is boring. I hated them.

Little warning:
I hope you‘re not lactose intolerant cause this Book is dripping in cheese.

If you like the Nora Roberts Style this might be the book for you, it simply didn‘t float my boat.

This publication is so bad for many reasons

I not sure if this book is so terrible because its been translated from another language hence the reason why it has so many grammatical errors and the story has been lost in translation.

The story its self is childish, and almost trying to be a modern take on the Cinderella tale, as it includes an evil step mother and sister.

The lead character Adrienne is almost childlike. For a women who suppose to be about 25 you think she grow out of pinching and poking at people especially her boyfriend Justin.

Justin who is the lea, basically treats her like a child and his phase every time he see her "your a fox" is weird.

The author Jerilee seems to get confused with the different between an arrange marriage and forced marriage and just leaves the readers with so many questions regarding the flaws in the plot.

As for the support characters they are just as ridiculous as the leads.

Troy - Adrienne first boyfriend has basically been written a certain way to justify Adrienne cheating. At the start of the book he suppose to be old-fashioned and traditional choosing not to have sex before marriage, but then found to be sleeping with her sister Kimberley.

Kimberley character is like a stereotype slutty girl, to make the pure/ good girl Adrienne look good.

Her friend Yuan and Jill just seem pointless, and overdramatic half the time. When Jill start rambling about never speaking to her if she hide that she was dating Justin is dumb.

Adrienne mum and dad backstory is brainless and her mum comes across selfish. First she goes against her parents to live with Adrienne dad. After having a child with him, she decides that her parents were right and marries the guy her parent chose. No wonder he runs off with the child, if she so flaky.

Justin getting Adrienne pregnant as a backup plan, irresponsible especially as she kept him as the backup boyfriend.

Overall this book this book isn't create as it unclear of who its target audience. The the reference to sex it does really fit the young girl readers and it's too immature for older readers.

I first discovered this book on the game chapters and played it over and over again because I liked it so much. I found the book and had to read it to see how true to the story the game was. I love a good romance and this didn’t disappoint.

My Rating - 4.5/5

Adrienne had been the odd one in her family consisting full of doctors as she pursued her dream for writing. She worked for the magazine named Blush. No one in her family actually supported her dreams. Her mother who had always compared her with her sister, Kimberly, never missed an opportunity to criticize her life. Her boyfriend of three years never supported or comforted her either. She recently bought her dream apartment and found out that her new neighbor was the notorious playboy, Justin Adams who also worked as the part-time photographer of the same magazine as hers. One day, when her boss asked her to review a new club named Gypsys, she met Justin there. They hit it off pretty quickly and she lost her v-card to him that night thinking he wouldn't remember her the next day. Boy, was she wrong! He somehow managed to make a place for himself in her life as their sex escapades continued. Adrienne kept their relationship a secret from everyone thinking it wouldn't last long but they fell in love with each other despite Adrienne still being in a relationship with her boyfriend, Troy. But one misunderstanding made her realize that she needed to breakup with her boyfriend which she did only to find him in a bed with her sister, Kim. Anyway, everything was going well with the couple until Justin's family obligation came between their relationship and they had to part their ways. At least for a while. Then Adrienne learned the biggest secret of her life which thrown her life completely off guard. After their painful separation, destiny made Justin and Adrienne to find their way to each other.

Hope you enjoy this book too as much as I did, if any of you decide to give this one a try!😊

Quotes -

- "You're a fox!"

- If he was the devil... I wouldn't mind burning in hell for the rest of my damned life.

- "Well, maybe we've been following the same paths for all our lives. And it's time for a change."

- "You don't have to try in love, Adrienne. When it comes, you're hopeless to even try to stop it from happening to you. Even if sometimes... you couldn't and shouldn't fall in love. It still happens."

An interesting twist on the arranged marriage troupe.

There is cheating in a way.
The heroine has a long distance boyfriend. They haven't slept together and are going out as her parents approve.
Before she breaks it off with him, she starts her secret relationship with the Hero.
It turns out the ex is sleeping with her sister.

During separation the Hero says "And trust me, hon, I haven’t been with any other woman since I met you. Before you, the last woman I’ve been with was named Jamila McBride. And I’ve been faithful ever since.”

He has a playboy reputation. She is a virgin.

So disappointed...

Wow. I'm not sure how this book ended up with such a high review. Like some other reviewers, I had originally read this story through the Chapters app. I had really enjoyed it and assumed that, like other books from the app, the original would be so much better. Unfortunately the reverse is true.
It was really hard for me to make it through this book. It's a very juvenile, frustrating and slow moving read.

The plot itself is interesting and had the potential to make a great book. Unfortunately the author writes like she's in junior high and is trying to sound older than she is. The vocabulary is juvenile and the grammar is awful. It distracted me so fully that I had a hard time reading more than half a chapter at a time.

If you are someone who can immerse themselves into a story so fully that you can ignore major literary errors then I think you'll enjoy this book. If you have ANY issues with poor editing or reading stories written by tweens this is NOT a book you'll even remotely enjoy.

Honestly, it has good bones of a story, but the muscle and ligaments and vital organs are lacking...

There is just so much going on... first the main character is whiny af and is reminiscent of other weak female characters- who aren’t pretty or don’t think they are but then ALL the men like them?? The main love interest was also boring, in that “I’m rich, but I’m not a jerk,” kinda way. And then the stereotypical Cinderella/ medieval times BS that occurs- nope, too much going on... also the love interest forcing pregnancy-literally wtf???? Do people really think that is romantic???

Then the story line itself, just has a lot of plot holes and doesn’t really make sense... unsure how this has this many high reviews, it took me longer to read then most “beach-read” romances because it was so boring and hard to read... apparently just not my thing.

Never thought I’d fall in love again to another Jerilee Kaye’s character after reading Knight in Shining suit.. come on! Ryder is one hot and gentleman.. totally fell in love with him... but here comes another love story of JK.. All the wrong reason’s Justin Adams.. the man not just a hottie popular who’s reputation is way out of any woman’s dream guy for a serious relationship.. most specially if you had or having a not sooo ideal relationship both with your BF and family.. a Justin Adams is a big NO. You’ll definitely gone mad crying your heart out and will have lots of heart ache that you’ll be scared to try-but as reading Adrienne and Justin’s love story, it will remind you that there will always be the good side of the coin. You just need to be brave and follow what your heart is saying. And will remind you that There will always be one man/woman who will let you go out of your comfort zone and introduce you to the real you. Someone who will help you grow and be your best while in a loving and a worth it relationship.

A MUST READ and a go for those who’s been crushed and afraid to get out of your comfort zone.

I have been a huge fan of the writer and this book is one of the books i can't stop reading over and over again. i love JUSTIN and how patient, sweet and caring he is with adrienne. Whenever i look for a book that will make me happy and "kilig" with good feels and romance to the highest level i always look for this book in wattpad and now i'm so ecstatic that the book will finally be released and it means i can have a copy of it and read it anytime i want. I can't wait also for the sequel. MAKE SURE TO READ THIS BOOK and i'm telling you, YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

All the wrong reasons is your modern day fairytale, the main protagonists make you fall in love with them. I love Adrienne's selflessness and her heart to forgive people, and Justin makes you drool over him by being himself and being persuasive.. If you are looking to read something romantic, then this one is best read, you will be mesmerized by the gestures and the love all at once. It's an amazing story narrated beautifully, the story of co-incidences, love, friendship, trust, fate and destiny all meddling together creating one of the most wonderful book you'll ever read.. Jerilee Kaye you are a one hell of a gifted author.. 😊

I loved her work in "Knight in Shining Suit" so I read this one but I was disappointed. There was a lot of repitition. A character telling the other characters what happened before in the story that the readers already know and then telling the same story to someone else.

The guy kept saying "You are a fox" all the time. He even answers some questions with "you are a fox" as if that explained everything. It was like their version of endearment. Got annoying after the first 30 times. The plot seemed too clean and too farfetched for me.

Now that I have read 3 of her books I think there's a pattern in the writing. The main characters (females) never want money and really don't care for it. So they get a filthy rich guy who loves them and gives them everything they never asked for. This is the story everytime. Each main character start off as humble and simple and end up becoming rich or gets married to the most handsome and rich guys. People might like to read such books once in a while but if it is a pattern then I guess I will stop reading her work and move on to more realistic books.

I'm going to try to keep this as non-spoilery as possible: this book is NOT okay, because the hero does not respect her boundaries or her body. He violated her and she basically just shrugged and was like whatever, it's fine now. Ugh.

This book sucks, but hear me out...

I have so much to say about this book.

I simultaneously want to give it five stars and one star. This book is like junk food to me- an extremely guilty pleasure. I always come back to this one when I need some absolute garbage romance to read. It has all the tired tropes that one sometimes requires for survival. Female protagonist who continuously pretends she’s unaware she’s hot? Check. Filthy rich “Bad Boy” love interest who’s actually somehow *gasp* a decent person? Yup. Gay best friend? You got it. This one has all of the above on top of what is, in my opinion, an actual gem of a plot.

Now I might just be a dummy, but the plot twists in this one genuinely managed to take me by surprise. Jerilee Kaye can put together a truly fantastic story! What she cannot do, unfortunately, is write....

The grammar, verb-tense agreement, sentence structure, and general paragraph construction through this entire book are absolutely atrocious. So bad, in fact, that I would probably give it a single star if I could make myself stop reading it on repeat. In the author’s defense, I’m pretty sure she’s a wattpad hobbyist and probably has no editor (Ms. Kaye, if you happen to read this and you do have an editor, FIRE THEM). This is fine, but if you’re someone who can’t look past the writing to enjoy the story (I struggle, too, believe me), this one is not for you.

Beyond the writing, there is one silly detail that perplexes me to no end. The main character and love interest live on the same floor of an apartment building. Here’s what we know:

- their front doors are ACROSS THE HALL from each other
- their balconies are SIDE-BY-SIDE
- their living room windows FACE EACH OTHER
- their bedroom windows also FACE EACH OTHER with a platform (that is wide enough to walk across) connecting them

I’m no architect, but how can all of these factors coexist????? I think about this all the time. I have gone so far as to draft blueprints in a fruitless attempt to make it make sense. It haunts me.

IN SUM
I’m usually strict and objective when I rate books, but this one is a rare exception. This is a selfish rating. I’m giving it the 4/5 because I continue to read and reread it with unparalleled voracity whenever I need something to kick me out of boredom or the occasional reading slump. I’m giving it the 4/5 for what it undeniably is: a self-published, unedited, amateurish, fanfic-esque, shoddy composition that isn’t pretending to be anything better. I eat it up every time.

I originally found it on the Chapters app and really liked it and knew it would be such a great read, but boy was I wrong. I even recently talked myself into reading it again because I told myself it couldn't be as bad as I remembered. I was wrong....again.

This book, honestly reads like a 13 year old wrote it. It has so many exclamation points. Seriously....why are there so many exclamation points? The main character is overdramatic and constantly complains. Her best friends are superficial and just all around awful. It's far too descriptive and I ended up skipping pages at a time because of it and it's constant repetitiveness. Also, spoiler, you have to be ok with the cheating trope, which is a hard one to get on board with.

I feel like hearing both characters point of views would have saved this book. With that being said, and I do love the hero, I still have major issues with some of the things he does (SPOILER ALERT) like removing a condom without asking her and then on a separate occasion intentionally impregnating her to keep her with him.

The book does have good bones though. I reread it (and bought it after playing it on the app) because I liked all its twists and turns, even if they were super predictable. But again, it really does feel like a 13 year olds attempt to write a "naughty" book.

This was the first book I read from this author.
I came across the story through "the Chapters" app and ended up reading the book on top of the game play.
I really enjoyed the overall plot and also the main characters, Adrienne and Justin.
Being the black sheep of the family and constantly compared to her sister, Adrienne decided to loosen up and slept with a notorious playboy Justin, even though she had a boyfriend. It was a supposed one night stand but turning into an actual relationship. I don't condone cheating, however since her boyfriend never really acted like one and it felt like she was with him just for the sake of making her mom happy, I was okay with Adrienne's affair. Especially, since her boyfriend had been sleeping with her sister and was a sleazy and abusive human being.
Knowing Justin's reputation, she expected him to lose interest in her after 2 weeks. While Justin agreed to go through an arranged marriage setup by his parents. They ended up falling in love anyways but had to go through a temporary breakup due to the whole arranged marriage predicament. At the end, they found out that they were actually betrothed to each other and of course the lived happily ever after.
I overall enjoyed the novel and would definitely reread this in the future.

I liked the premise of the whole book. It might have been cliche and Cinderella-y but I didnt mind that it was.

What I had trouble getting past, though, is the whole cheating thing. The author just had to write Troy as someone who also cheated just to justify the heroine's cheating. It was hard to like the heroine because of this. Add to the fact that she was unhappy with her relationship but wouldn't break up with him, all the while stringing along this other guy who obviously adored her. And this went on for months! Also the thing with his cousin and her refusal to even read his texts or hear his explanation was just annoying. I couldn't root for her because of how immature she was.

Now the hero was charming and great, up until the fact that he tried to impregnate her without her consent. That's notwithstanding the fact that he removed his condom the first time they were together so that it wouldn't hurt her(?). Like that was supposed to be sweet?

I read this after I read All the Wrong Places, which was a good choice. Because I may not have read the second installment to the series had I read this first.

I hate this book. So much. I cried buckets because of it!! Ugh.

I am annoyed with Adrienne when she can’t break up with that dumb boyfriend of hers because she’s too afraid of what her “mom” would say even though I had a feeling he’s cheating on her with Kimberly. Since that’s all he talks about. Also, who would be in their right mind is ashamed to be seen with THE Justin Adams?! Took her a long time before she actually did it. Yuan and Jill are awesome friends. And the plot twist wow. Jin is hilarious and so as his friends. I wish there would be a Jin story. She should have sued Kimberly and Marina. The last few chapters with the engagement and wedding were a little bit dragged out. I was getting pissed because I wanted to finish the story and sleep, the struggle lol. I couldn’t stop laughing with the mental institution statement and Jordan is funny!! The chemistry was there all throughout. It’s a thumbs up 👍

Having a hard time getting through 50 pages…
It’s not well thought out & the POV seems to be unclear: is this strictly narrative from a 3rd POV? or is this from the main character POV? Definitely not a smut book (what a shame it may have helped). But even the plot itself so far seems cliche and doesn’t capture me.

Perfect girl tired of trying to please her mom & wants to branch out/wild out - typical.

Even the setting is confusing: they’re neighbors, ok that’s fine. But the author wrote that they share a bedroom wall. THEN later she writes that he walks home *across the hall way*.

That really bothers me because I’m trying to wrap my head around the building layout LMAO
She even wrote how Adrienne can see Justin outside of her bedroom window in his balcony?
But he lives across from her? Not next to her? Wtf

Found it odd that Justin keeps calling her honey… but the context makes me think he has a gay flare by calling her honey during a one night stand & after? 😂

Some books are evergreen. Jerilee Kaye's each and every book has been breathtaking for me. I have completed all of her books in a day. But All the Wrong Reasons is even more special.

A book that initially looks like every other book where a nerdy girl has a wild and sensual side to herself, this is much more than just that. It takes you on a ride where you love the people you hated and hate the people you loved. You can never be prepared for the turns the storyline takes but you know deep within that you can trust Jerilee to spin the best story and to make it linger in your heart years after you have read it. I have already read it twice on wattpad, once on CHAPTERS and bought a copy to behold for the rest of my life

I really enjoyed the concept of the story. Adrienne and Justin are wonderful characters. The story has major potential, however, I just couldn’t get past all of the editing errors. There were many grammar errors (tenses, word choice, spelling, punctuation, etc). It felt like the story wasn’t even edited at all. I don’t understand how the book received so many 5 star ratings. I feel bad saying these things, unfortunately, they are true. So, if you’re looking for an interesting book and don’t care if there are a lot of mistakes then you could read this book. If editing mistakes bother you, don’t read this book because it will bug you. The good news is that the next book in the series doesn’t have the same type of editing mistakes.

Finishing the book I realised there are two books hidden in one to make it seem longer. I absolutely hate it when things are added to a book to make it longer. This could haven't been easily really good two books. You actually feel the story is about to end mid way and bam a new story line starts which could have been the plot of another book (a sequel?!)

It’s pure romance filled with some twists and surprises (although I was able to guess all of them so wasn't much fun for me)

But whatever the negatives, it doesn't steal away from the fact that the book was an absolute joy to read. Fell in love with Justin Adams over and over again. He is the perfect sweet, charming heartthrob.

A good read. A little of drama but definitely a HEA.

All the right stories!

I read All the Wrong Places in the Chapters app, so I became interested in finding the original story. In doing so, I found that it was a spin-off and I was very interested to now Justin and Adrienne's story. I'm SO glad that I did! It had unexpected spins and I literally didn't want to stop reading the story! I found myself laughing, smiling, cheering and at times wanting to cry because I was so caught up in Adrienne's triumphs and losses. Since I just finished All the Wrong Reasons, I'll be starting All the Wrong Places. Now this gives me a chance to read in more detail Julianna(Ian) and Jin's story. I absolutely LOVED it I chapters so I know I'll absolutely love the full story!! Amazing writing!!!!
