Edge Security #5

Edge of Honor

Rate this book
E.D.G.E. Security is a cover for a covert international organization that handles jobs most governments won’t. The operators are the elite of the elite, soldiers and spies, chosen for their skills and secrecy, and their ability to go beyond the edge.

An Esteemed Scientist

Dr. Charlotte Singh loves her job as head of research for EDGE Security, but she secretly yearns for field work and the promise of adventure it holds. At a conference in London, Charlotte finally gets her chance. But working an op isn’t everything she imagined, and the one person who can help her is a dangerously rugged Scotsman who isn’t interested in being part of anyone’s team.

A Disgraced Soldier

Jack Sinclair was kicked out of the British SAS after a mission gone horribly wrong. Now he’s hunting whoever is responsible for the deaths of his men and completely focused on finding justice for his friends. He has nothing left but his mission and he won’t let anyone, not even a sexy scientist with a smart mouth, interfere with it.

Opposites don’t just attract, they explode.

But when Charlotte’s life is threatened and she’s isolated from her team, Jack can no longer shut out the world or abandon the feisty woman who ignites something inside him. Hunted by terrorists, will Jack and Charlotte have to sacrifice themselves and their burgeoning attraction to the flames? Or will the city of London pay the price?

This is a stand alone Romantic Thriller, but part of the Edge Series.

Proving to be Worthy

Jack and Singh's relationship started in an unconventional way and continued to have ups and downs, mostly downs. Until they needed each other to hunt down their common target. This story has suspense and danger and a great treacherous plot like all the E.D.G.E. Security books have. The themes of trust and betrayal weave throughout this book. This will appeal to those who want high adventure and suspense. Like all books in this series, it won't disappoint.

Being a Scot living in Scotland, UK, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this book was mainly based in the UK and the main male character was Scottish! This book in the EDGE series is about Charlotte Singh AKA 'Q', yes, the female equivalent of James Bond's Q! I found this book quite humorous at times, as well as gripping and nerve-wracking. A great read!

Love the lab nerd in the field!

Having been a lab nerd during part of my college time i could relate. This book was great! Super adventure and romance and suspense. I love the way the story evolved and i loved the ending. It is hard to be a smart girl in a normal world . Trish wrote it very well.

Another cracker!

I love this series! Each book is different but with the thread of each team member running through it. Each character showing their diff strengths and weaknesses. Each story different but with intrigue, suspense, touching moments and sexy moments shared between the lead roles. Another great read......can't wait for the next! As usual!

Inriguing

The book kept me going from the beginning. Interesting story and the way the character's and story develops. Good end I wish the ending was a little more involved.
