I'm not sure what to make of this book, on the one hand it is a really good science fiction story which I have really enjoyed. However there are quite a few things that I find irritating and stop it being a great space opera.
At times it is too long winded, there is just too much description and explanation, sometimes it's better to leave it to the readers imagination.
Also I still don't understand the obsession with clothes, a one point there is what seems like a whole chapter of Casey describing her wardrobe.
If possible I would have given 3.5 stars.
