He was possessive and demanding. Consuming. Yet she wasn't strong enough to stay away from him . . .
Torin and Mira have been strategically dancing around their mutual attraction for years. (3 years, 6 months and 12 days if you want to get specific). He's older and her mentor, she's younger and out to prove herself, no matter the risk. Both of them are stubborn and when things finally implode, they're both determined to be the last one standing.
This was a spicy kinking read between two total bad asses who finally stop fighting their crazy attraction for each other and find out their a perfect match. Sierra Cartwright has some of the most dominate and alpha characters I've ever read and she writes them with real human emotion. It's not just about the intimate or kinky sex scenes. There is emotional connections and character growth and a romance that starts and ends on a strong foundation.
Mira and Torin are two strong characters who are set in their ways but are also fighters. They don't easily give up and this relationship might have taken them by surprise with just how strong and fast their true feelings for each other developed, but the exploration they go through to get to their HEA was definitely worth it. Mira was my favorite kind of heroine, a little sassy, a little vulnerable. Torin on the other hand was a bit standoffish at first. He is a master of control so he was a closed book when he wanted to be. I loved watching him lose his legendary control when it came to Mira. She brought out this tender side he didn't know he had and that melted me!
I will happily continue reading more by this author!

This little novella was a feel-good read, the third book in the Hawkeye Protection series.
Mira Araceli fell in love with Torin Carter when he was her instructor at the Hawkeye academy., but neither of them acted on their attraction. When they are thrown together again on assignment, they try to avoid an entanglement, but that only lasts until Torin finds out that Mira is a submissive at the local BDSM club. Their affair is hot and heavy, but can it survive his past and her tendency to throw herself into the middle of dangerous situations?
Both Torin and Mira are engaging characters, and the story line, while light, is fun. The best friend is funny and caring, and Hawkeye takes care of its employees in a way that makes the reader wish they worked there.
This was a fine addition to the Hawkeye books.

5 Star Review Meant For Me (Hawkeye Book 3) by Sierra Cartwright
I loved Hawkeye instructor Torin Carter and operative Mira Araceli’s story. Years ago Mira fell hard and fast for Torin but he would not mix buiness with pleasure; now forced together on an undercover assignment their passion for one another will ignite.
Over the last 12 months I have found myself gravitating to the romantic suspense genre and in my humble opinion Sierra Cartwight’s Hawkeye series is a fine example. Throw in the fact that it also contains BDSM and I am in.
I loved the push and pull of the relationship between Torin and Mira, the sexual tension built and built until it threatened to explode. The chemistry between them was off the charts and I really enjoyed how much they challenged each other both in and out of the bedroom.
Torin has demon’s that he needs to face and Mira is determined to learn his secrets.
As I have come to expect from a book written by SIerra Cartwright, the writing was strong and the story she wove had me captivated from the first to the last page.

HOLY HAWKEYE SWEET BABY JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is what I was saying after I read this book. I mean holy hell it had it all in it. From Suspense, romance, lust, BDSM, danger, action and lord the list could go on but when I tell you it had it all it did. This is one series I am going to read and re-read. I did not read the first two books but I will as soon as I finish my other reading I need to do because this series is that and so much more.
You have Mira and Torin that are agents and Torin is Mira's instructor. She has held a torch for him for years since she first met him at her training facility. She has kept it to herself because Torin has shown no interest in her and he doesn't even give her a second glane. Torin is all business and nothing more or so she thinks. Torin right from the start is attracted to Mira but she is off limits because she is his student and she is way to innocent for his needs and that is BDSM. So he keeps the relationship friendly until one day they are in a compromised position and their walls come crashing down.

I love this series and I love Mira and Torin's story. Suspenseful and gritty...this story grabs the reader from the first page. I love that Mira isn't a whimpy girl. And Torin, what can you say, he's one hot man! Together, they are explosive!!! Wonderful story!!

I love Sierra Cartwright! She certainly knows her way around a BDSM novel/novella. Met Her Match is everything I want in a quick erotic read! I've enjoyed the Hawkeye series immensely and this installment doesn't disappoint. Sexy alpha Dom, Torin, never wanted a partner in business or in his personal life. Preferring an endless stream of different women to play with, Torin never thought about commitment. But when Hawkeye's security team insists he work with a partner, paring him with the sexy, smart, Mira that idea flies out the proverbial window. Mira is wicked, wanton and exotic. A natural submissive with a strong backbone and quick wit, she tests everything Torin thought he wanted out of life. Mira has her own doubts about this professional and personal relationship. Can she give up her control to a man? Especially to one as unyielding as Torin, who will not tolerate being topped from the bottom. Mira does know she wants Torin, to work beside her as her partner and to dominate her like no one else has or could before in the bedroom.
The read was fast paced, hot as hades and everything I'd hoped for from Cartwright! Perfect summer novella!

This was a really sexy little story. While I liked the IDEA behind the story, I felt like it left quite a bit to be desired.
There was a LOT of repetition in the book (i.e. the same phrase used repeatedly like the reader couldn't remember what was said on the page before) which really was annoying and took away from the story.
Also, I felt like the characters were underdeveloped and were just thrown together for BDSM-ish sex. Their movements were jerky and they jumped from being in one place to another (like hand placement or where in the room they were) that I'd have to read a few lines over again to figure out what had just happened.
All that being said I appreciate that it was a short story that was likely just meant to be a sexy little read so I tried to take it for what it was and not look deeper than surface level.

This is part of a series, and whilst it could be read on its own and enjoyed, it would be so much better as part of the whole.
It is a short, sharp, and satisfying read. Sometimes it takes a jolt to realise what you want, sometimes it takes more than one ... the D/s dynamic is interesting, due in part to their natures, but also due to their work relationship. I thought that the dilemma and the decisions were well portrayed, and the pushing certainly led to some hot scenes. All the Hawkeye team are hot and demanding, so don't be surprised that this duo is too.
Ms Cartwright once again delivers a story with some punch and plenty of heat.

This was a great read. Sierra Cartwright has once again combined strong characters, an intriguing plot, and a sexual chemistry with BDSM into a storyline that flowed easily. You could literally feel the sexual tension building from the time they met and the emotional impact of these two people when feelings and emotions were revealed.
This is the 3rd book in her Hawkeye Series! This is the 2nd book that I have read by Sierra Cartwright and I am telling you she bought the heat in this book! I couldn’t put the kindle down until I finished Meant for Me. I felt so many emotions reading Meant for Me.
Meant for Me explores the romance that is budding between Torin Carter and Mira Araceli. Their story begins when Mira was training at Aikens Training Facility where Torin is her Trainer and Commander when they go on assignments. The chemistry between them was spontaneous when Torin caught Mira in a hold when they were doing a training simulation. When they are paired as partners for a security job, Torin and Mira can’t seem to keep their minds off of each other. The fire and heat was simmering at the surface just waiting for them to give in to their passion.
Do Torin and Mira give in to the chemistry? Do they find love and live happily ever after? You will have to read Meant for Me to find out. Meant for Me has all that you would want in a romance novel. Six times a year, recruits new to the VIP protection program cycled through the Aiken Training Facility. It wasn't Torin's job to get them through. It was his job to make sure everyone, except the very best, washed out. On a personal level, he no longer even pretended to be relationship material. Mira Araceli was brave, relentless, and driven. Youngest of three kids, her father was a congressman and former military. Both her brothers had followed his legacy into the service. Mira's graduated in the top of her college class and had applied to be part of Hawkeye Security, even though the scope of their work included anything from protecting people and things to operating in some of the most difficult places on the planet. She could pump thirty-seven out of forty shots into a target's heart and was first through the door during hostage rescue exercises. Though she excelled, she took unnecessary risks. At times, she calculatingly ignored superiors' commands. So far it had worked well for her, much to the annoyance of her numerous instructors.

Torin Carter is all about reading people. Mira Araceli seems to be on edge. I liked how the author made her inquisitive. This way we can “follow” her around so she can get all the answers we need. You will want to watch out for all the heat because you could get burned. They both seem to love the same thing but they both seem to have demons. I felt we could see more of Torin’s where we’re told about Mira’s.
This may be a work of fiction but what the author has created seems very plausible. Torin is an alpha male both in his professional and personal life. Mira is good at hiding the fact that she wears her heart on her sleeve. She will show it to us but she’s had years of practice when it comes to her feelings. Our author does a great job in showing the tension that has built between our main characters. It was something that held my attention while they did both their job and how they handled the personal side of things. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the ending but all of a sudden it felt as if the story was rushed to get there. Will also be interested to see if this series is going to continue – no hint so in the meantime will have to check out some of the author’s other work.

I have read a few of Sierra’s other books. I always enjoy them. Torin is an instructor with Hawkeye and Mira is one of his recruits. They have an intense attraction to each other but neither acknowledge it or let the other know about it. She has graduated the program is no longer his student. There is romance, danger, and a bit of kink. I haven’t read the other books in this series. After reading this one I have added them to my TBR list. I look forward to reading more books by Sierra.

This book opens with a look at Mira when she was going through the Hawkeye training course. By course I mean mud and stuff. Torin is the instructor and he is way harder on her than the others and she is harder on herself as well.
Now assigned together in New Orleans, Mira is fighting the attraction she feels for him, and has felt for him since he was her instructor. Although she has a home close to New Orleans, she and Torin are staying together in the secure Hawkeye compound. They are pretty much always on call, but Mira also manages to get out with her friend Halley and go to the exclusive BDSM club Quarter. There she can fall into submission and relax in a way she can't anywhere else.
Torin mostly keeps to himself, even as he's fighting the same attraction. He tries to stay away because he doesn't think he should inflict his lifestyle on her. I really had to giggle at that since she's already into it but of course he has no idea.
Difficult clients make for some insanity, but also make for a fast-paced, action paced, fun and steamy read. I have to go back and read the other Hawkeye books. I had forgotten how much I love this series.

Mira is driven, maybe too driven. But she is determined to chart her own course in spite of who her father is. Torin has seen the result of a driven female and he hopes never to see it again but Mira reaches something in him, something he is determined to ignore. But working together leaves them trusting each other in ways that lead to more. Can they learn to trust in each other?
I enjoyed this story by Sierra Cartwright. It is obvious that Torin feels something for Mira. It is also obvious that he will ignore for as long as he can. Ms. Cartwright doesn't make it quite so obvious with Mira until they work together. And boy can you see just how much Mira fights her nature when she is around Torin. I love seeing them fight the pull they both feel. Neither is good at trusting at least their inner selves, but when they let go boy is it wonderful to see. I loved seeing Torin fight his fears to find his way to Mira. I loves seeing Mira trust in Torin being the Dom of she needs.
This story is well written and I love returning to the the Hawkeye world.

I went back to the world of BDSM with this book; but that's not all the book is about.
H and h are partnered together on an assignment; they met years earlier but he was her trainer so they maintained their distances.
They work closely together on a security assignment and connect, realizing that they have many things in common, including their sexual preferences.
The BDSM is fairly safe; don't get me wrong; they are both extreme players and push limits but their encounters don't take centre stage while their relationship is on the sidelines.
The relationship that develops is the main focus; they respect each other, become friends as well and work together while sharing a mutual love for their preferences.
This is a well written book and while I generally keep away from BDSM books (I think at one time I read too many and got fed up as it often overshadowed the other elements of a bookk), I enjoyed reading this one. The main characters are strong and smart people who genuinely like each other and outside the bedroom, they are equal partners in their work and life

Torin and Mira, may start off as your typical couple but with every page deeper into this book you find more and more layers to them that make this book special.
when you find the one that makes your heart stand up and take notice, you do not let her go. this is the lesson that Torin had to learn, to battle his past and fears from the past and to hold onto Mira and what they have. its not easy, it never is, but it is worth it.
love both of them, and the story line is just what you love in a romantic-suspense series such as Hawkeye, plus, we get to remember all the other couples from this series, that just makes you want to re read them all over again.
I honestly recommend this book, you won't be able to put it away once you start flipping the pages.

Mira and Torin's relationship was built on attraction, admiration, and friendship - which gave it a depth it would not have otherwise had. This also made their scenes together scorching! One kiss and you'll need a cold shower too!
☞ Not only does Torin have integrity, but there is nothing sexier than a man who can admit when he’s wrong! Falling in love with him wasn't difficult, I was completely twitterpated within the first few pages.
☞ Mira, is badass and I want to be her when I grow up! I love how confident, strong and kickass she is. It makes her submission to Torin all the sweeter, not to mention hot as hell!
☞ The epilogue was everything an HEA obsessed girl needed. Pretty sure I hit subspace by the end! ;)

Just when you think Sierra could not be any more amazing.... here we are! LOVED this one so much.
This book will bring you all the feels. It is sexy, heart wrenching and will also keep you on the edge of your seat.

Just read and listened to this on audio and OMG;!l Sooo hot! Aiden Snow doing a soft Irish accent is panty melting material!! Add to that one of the best BDSM novels I have read/listened to in a while and you have several hours of exquisite guilty pleasure!
This is book 3 of the series (all of which can be read as stand-alones) and so far my favourite. The narrative flows seamlessly between the security work that Torrin and Mira undertake as Hawkeye operatives and their emerging D/s relationship.
Imtense, electric reading made even more captivating by Aiden Snow's swoon worthy voice acting (if you get the audio) . This is a must read for all BDSM novel fans!

This is a hot one! Torin and Mira have unknowingly been crushing on each other for years. With Mira being a former student and fellow employee of Torin, it just isn’t smart to get together in their dangerous line of work. But, as we know, the heart—and body—don’t always listen to reason.
I enjoyed the back and forth between Mira and Torin. Although they work together, and Torn is the big bad trainer, Mira doesn’t back down from him when he challenges her. There’s a lot of heat in this tale. The chemistry between them is so strong, and I love how each of them worked through their baggage and history.

Love love love! Heat, danger, and a second chance what more do you need in a book? I did not put it down as I was hooked from the very beginning.
Mira has had a crush on her former instructor since her days in training. Events happened that imprinted him firmly in her brain. Torin knew from the beginning that Mira was dangerous to him. I loved the way their relationship unfolds several years in the future. Past her training days....
The tension between these two... holy cow! Then Master Torin figures out they belong to the same club... game on.

Are you ready for the heat from this story to come up off the pages and singe you? Be prepared and have cold water nearby because Torin and Mira are scorching hot together! After denying their attraction for years, they are assigned together. It doesn't take long before they can't contain their attraction, and then, it develops into so much more. As much as their physical attraction was instant, their emotional attachment is just as strong, and just as quick. It takes a little longer for them to figure that part out.

This story starts right off with heat between Mira and Torin. Things only get hotter from there when they are assigned a security detail together in the heart of New Orleans. They are a hot and steamy pair who both love the same club. Torin is pretty damaged from his time in service and Mira soothes his soul in a way no one else ever has. They instinctively know what each other wants as if they were truly made for each other. Add in the suspense that goes along with private security and this book is full of heat. Highly recommended. I couldn't put it down.
