This is a great new book that compares two things visually so the reader can get an idea of the relative size. For example, the Blue Whale's heart is the size of a small car. One of the most amazing pictures in the book is a comparison of a human eyeball (1 inch across) to that of a horse (1.5 inches), blue whale (6 inches), and colossal squid (11 inches across!). With amazing pictures and interesting facts, this book is sure to get a lot of use! Recommended for readers in 2nd grade and above, younger for reading aloud.

If you're a fan of those giant Guinness books like I am, or of those Top 10 books, like me, then this makes a sterling addition to that collection. The comparison angle is a clever gimmick, and makes for great reading with a curious 5-year old, because the visuals are just that dazzling and self-explanatory. Nicely packaged, this product, and the content well-curated.
