Save A Horse
Ryley Stewart grew up knowing shifters were everywhere. Little was known about them though; she made it her life's mission to meet and interview as many as she could. As a freelance journalist, she traveled the country meeting new shifters. When Gerri Wilder contacts her to help her find new shifters to interview. Ryley makes it known she is only interested in interviews, not a mate.
TC Donovan wasn't looking for his mate. He was content on his ranch, rehabilitating horses. TC saw the worst things people could do to animals; it made him distrustful and grouchy. The last thing he wanted was a journalist staying in his house or interviewing him.
It only took one look, and TC knew he met his mate, but would Ryley be willing to give up her globe-trotting lifestyle to stay with him on his ranch or would she take Gerri up on her offer to meet other shifters?

This story was so good you would never believe this is the authors first solo release.. In typical Geri fashion she sets people up even when they are not asking or expecting it.. TC and Riley were such a great match and a stallion shifter is just sexy in everyway .. This story was sexy, sweet and has a positive vibe throughout... I cant wait to see what happens with the two best friends....

We return once again to Gerri Wilder and the Paranormal Dating Agency World with a funny, steamy and touching romp that is sure to provide chuckles and have one particular song running through your mind throughout this story.
I had fun with "Save A Horse". I haven't read many horse shifter stories, but they are a unique shifter story setup. Riley is a bold, strong character who intends to interview every type of shifter she can discover. A letter from Gerri Wilder provides even more access... and perhaps a date with destiny, even though the last thing Riley is looking for is to be set up with a mate. No, thank you very much.
TC's work with abused, neglected or abandoned horses struck a chord with me as animal abuse is one of my triggers. I cannot understand how humans can destroy such trusting creatures as they often do... but that is another soapbox I'll not be stepping on right now. He might have been blindsided by Riley's visit and ready to kick her out... but discovering she is his mate changes everything.
There is humor, steam, some truly inept rodents to deal with and an underlying message of hope for animals that need it most in this story. I'm curious to see where Kat and Graham might travel in life, so I'll be keeping an eye out for their story one day.... or at least for the answers that Graham seeks. I had a good time with "Save A Horse". It wasn't perfect, but I've yet to find that "perfect" in every way book... I was delivered an entertaining, enjoyable story and that is certainly good enough for me.

DNF at 31% when Ryley first meets and talks with TC.
This was a little too much of an insta-lust fated mate trope, and the action moved too fast for me. TC had barely explained his background and hadn't told Ryley anything about being his mate, and he already kissed her out of the blue after apparently making her cry by telling her about the abused horses on his ranch.
With the addition of very dry narrating with a lot of telling rather than showing and the very crass jokes from her best friend Kat that I didn't find very funny, I didn't have any interest in finishing the story even though I had really wanted to read about a horse shifter romance.

Loved this story. Don't know why I put off reading for so long
very different.
I think as a new writer, Ms. Wedmore did a great job.
This story was also a good fit into the Paranormal Dating Agency series.

This is an entertaining story with strong characters. The author weaves a sweet romantic romance and does a great job painting her scenes. I enjoyed reading the story.

Great book
Any PDA story is a good one. Geri Wilder always find a girls mate. This one had a lot going on to keep you reading.

Gerri does her best work with unsuspecting people who believe they don't actually want a mate and Ryley-TC are a perfect example. It's a good paranormal romance and I'm definitely going to check out some of this authors books.

SAVE A HORSE is one of sixty-eight books in the multi-author Paranormal Dating Agency series. Any time I see the PDA label, I know something good will be inside.
I will start with the sting. The book needs more editing love. It feels unpolished. The scenes and sentences are fits and starts at times, when they should be flowing. That is the only sting. The story is sweet, sexy, and romantic with a nice bite of suspense.
A horse shifter is a unique twist on the genre with the requisite question asked (wink). There is plenty of action – romantic, platonic, and suspense – to keep me entertained and engaged. I couldn’t put it down and read it in one sitting – damn the chores that needed to be done!
I’m sure that the author has read many of the previous PDA books and fallen in love with Gerri Wilder as I have. She has shown respect and admiration for the strong likeable character and given her a spotlight or two in this story.
The title was perfect and cute. Now, I will have a particular song humming through my head for the rest of the day… and a smile on my lips.

Excellent Story!!! LOVED IT!!!
This story was exciting from the first turn of the page. I have read about many shifters and this was the second book I have read about horse style shifter. Guess the last one was a unicorn.
This is a very interesting story and honestly did Ryley really think that Gerri wouldn't set her up. I love the interaction between the two and you could feel the chemistry and passion falling off the pages.
You throw in their friends and the story is exciting page after page. You will enjoy this book and it will make you ask yourself to ride a horse and save the cowboy.
Love it and can't wait to see Graham and Kat's story and there better be one or I will personally hunt the author down and make her...*insert evil laugh* JK...

This was a very enjoyable and entertaining read. In typical Gerri fashion she sets couples up even when there not anticipating it or wanting it. It was just funny to see that Ryley thought that Gerri wasn't going to work her magic on her. I absolutely loved the scene with the rodents shifters I wasn't expecting to laugh so hard they were really confused to the facts why they were being ignored by females priceless. Overall a great read. I will be looking forward to Kat & Graham's book if/when it's written. I'm curious to see what he finds and what his past brings and how that's going to effect his and Kat situation will they find balances. This book will definitely put some giddy-up in your entertainment. There were plenty of laughs to be had between both sets of best friends, but there were some really good ones between TC and Ryley. And those two have quite the chemistry to boot! A fun story line with an element of danger thrown in, it was a very enjoyable read that I had no problem sitting and ignoring the world in favor of. If you're a fan of shifters, this is a great book to pick up and read. I'm excited to find out about the best friends of the leading couple, Graham and Kat, in a future book.

This was a.mediocre story at best, it was interesting at first but then it quickly just lost my interest. I love all books.where horses are involved and a horse shifter, well that was a great idea and the ranch which helps abused and discarded horses, that was brilliant. But to me, the storyline just did t seem to flow and usually grammatical errors don't bother me, but there were quite a lot in this story.

Great story
TC and Ryley were so great and cute together. You honestly don't see a whole lot of paranormal romance with horse shifters and I truly enjoyed this one. There were definitely plenty of times I had laughed but it was also sexy and just all around great, I could not put down. Absolutely loved what he did for his ranch and taking care of the animals and how she respected what he did.

This was an interesting group of characters and it is the first book where the shifter was a horse. This paranormal romance hit all the right spots. I loved Ryley and Kat great characters. The author did a great job of funny and sexy at the same time as danger and a few other twists. This was a great shifter romance and I really enjoyed it. Save A Horse is a sweet and sexy romp. Ryley and Kat are kick a$$ and sound like folks I’d love to hang out with. TC is a sweetheart and totally not the curmudgeon Gerri and Graham described him as. As much as I enjoyed this story it left me with questions. What kind of shifter is Graham? Is Kat his mate? I do hope the author will write a follow up book and let us know.

Delightful romance orchestrated by everybody's favorite matchmaker, Gerri Wilder.
I loved this story, not only was there love, passion and intrigue woven into the story but the message of animal rights and animal abuse is brought forth in a truly compassionate way.
Jennifer Wedmore should be commended for her stance on animal protection and rehabilitation.
Highly recommend.

Every little girl dreams of horses
This book is an excellent addition to the PDA world. I fell in love with the characters, I was lost in the ups and downs of the story, and I couldn’t wait to read about the HEA. I really hope this author brings us another book, or two, with Kat’s and Graham’s stories. I need to know that they also found their HEAs.

Super characters and wonderful chemistry built on a fantastic background of a horse ranch. As well as the leads, the supporting characters make this story outstanding. I laughed and groaned. Well done Ms Ardmore for providing a novel soaked in romance, dipped it enticement and popping with entertainment.

I loved this one. It is about a journalist who travels to interview shifter's. she ends up on his ranch to interview him but he doesn't want her there until he realizes she is his mate. But there is one thing wrong. Will she stay or will she leave. I love Geri Wilder. It is exciting, emotional, surprising, suspenseful and so much more. I voluntarily review it for booksprout.
