Rika has bested the Nietzscheans at every turn... ...and the enemy doesn't even know it.
The Marauders have sliced through Old Genevia and stand poised for decisive victory. Though Nietzschean Emperor is aware of his defeat at Thebes, Rika's pace and relentless pursuit of any Nietzschean survivors has kept him in the dark.
Now, Rika is ready to strike at the heart of her people's former alliance: the Genevian System itself.
When she arrives, things turn out to be much more complex—and dangerous—than even she expected. It’s time for the mechs to save their own people. Even if the Genevians don’t want it.
Malorie Cooper likes to think of herself as a dreamer and a wanderer, yet her feet are firmly grounded in reality.
A ‘maker’ from an early age, Malorie loves to craft things, from furniture, to cosplay costumes, to a well-spun tale, she can’t help but to create new things every day.
A rare extrovert writer, she loves to hang out with readers and people in general. If you meet her at a convention, she just might be rocking a catsuit, cosplaying one of her own characters, or maybe her latest favorite from Overwatch!
She shares her home with a brilliant young girl, her wonderful wife (who also writes), a cat that chirps at birds, a never-ending list of things she would like to build, and ideas…
Author M.D. Cooper brings us the last book in Rika's Marauder's saga. The time has come for Rika and her Marauder's to take back their homeworld but first they have to stop a a station 80 days away. Once they finish and leave a force that can push back the Niets they then proceed into the heart of their captured alliance and form an alliance with the resistance in the system. And she learns that the Niet's Emperor but she get's captured along the way even though she escapes and the end I won't tell you but this is a great series and not one to be missed. I highly recommend this series to all science fiction fans.
A great and satisfying finish to the Rika's Marauders series, though happily not the last we will see of Rika. A good amount of action and suspense, as the twists of war create a number of surprises and opportunities for both sides. Rika and co in fine form again here, making mistakes but getting themselves out / making atonement for mistakes, which is good to see. Overall, lots of fun, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for Rika.
Well this was definitely a bit of a roller coaster ride. We once again see the Marauders doing what they do best. Some of my favorite parts in this story involve Kelly, she compliments Rika nicely. And it was a very fitting end too to this first arc, looking forward to the next one.
I really, really like Rika... She's so, well human. Recomend start from the beginning or you will get lost but it will be worth it if you like adventure, some funny characters and Sci-fi. Cannot wait for the next book... April... April? Are you serious Mr Cooper? I want next book now! Please hurry up!!
Well we have come to the end of the first part of Rika's Story. But this part would not end unless we see out Heroine facing a few hard battles. But I think that She has more to come, and I am looking forward to reading the next part.
Rika and her mauraders, what can you say? Outstanding warriors,. They face many up and downs, but....nah, not going to spill anything. Great series. Can't wait till the next stage of her life. Waiting with anticipation.
Rika is a special kind of person. She's a survivor, but more she turns her weakness to strength. Granted she had a lot of help but her inner character trumps logistical conflicts. Great read
Love seeing how Rika’s family grows. This book hits on plot twist you knew where coming and leaves enough to build on with out feeling remotely forced.
