I'm a Language Arts/ theater teacher with decades of classroom experience and head the theater department of Sugarloaf Fine Arts Camp. My plays for young adults are published through Uproar Theatrics. As a member of the Area3WP, I taught writing workshops for teachers and students of all ages. I read the Spanish translation that was done very well with appropriate rhyming. It was super sweet and loving. Diverse families shown and included families at a distance.

A wide variety of grandkids share the things they like about their grandpa.
While your grandpa may not like everyone of these things, this is still a fun list of activities you might enjoy to do together. Poweee’s illustrations are a nice counterpoint to the text.

I love reading books to children about spending time with their grandparents. This child enjoys riding grandpa's rocking chair, going to ballgames, going to the beach, and hiking with his grandfather. The illustrations show various activities where they spend time together and what grandpa used to do when he worked.

I bumped this up a star because of the diversity represented; from the kids and their grandpas to the places and activities shown I think many kids will find something to relate to in this book.
