What Others Are "If you find cooking as stressful and time consuming, then this book is PERFECT for you." 5-star review from Erika
"I am usually short of time. My kids have extracurricular activities, and we are usually busy shuttling them to practice, games, play rehearsal, etc. So I don't have hours to stand in the kitchen and cook meals. But, family meals and home-cooked dinners are important to me, so I am always looking for quick and hearty options. This cookbook hit that right on the head!" 5-star review from Megan
"This is a really nice cookbook to have especially if you’re a busy person that can’t stay in the kitchen for very long during the day. This cookbook is full of great recipes that everyone in the family should love. There is everything from desserts to main courses.
True to the title, the wide variety of recipes included here are easy to prepare. Experienced cooks will have no problem completing the meal preparation within thirty minutes but readers new to meal preparation may find it takes a bit longer. But it’s definitely worth the effort as they are delicious and sure to please all the diners at the table.
Divided into sections, the recipes include Sides, Pasta, Soups, Other Main Dishes, and Desserts. The majority of the recipes are for a wide variety of main dishes. Some recipes include links to other recipes, allowing for an easy match between the main dishes and the accompanying sides.
A sampling of the fifty-four recipes: Cheesy Garlic Bread, Roasted Asparagus, Honey Glazed Carrots, Mediterranean Vegetables, Cheesy Pasta Skillet, Spicy Shrimp Pasta, Skillet Lasagna, Cheesy Veggie Pasta, Chicken Pot Pie Pasta, Shrimp Gumbo Taco Soup, Corn Soup, Shrimp Tacos Philly Cheesesteak, Philly cheesesteak Sandwiches, Double Decker Tacos, Asian Meatballs Tuscan Pork Chops and Zucchini Noodles, Lemon Pepper Salmon, Meatball Sliders Mexican Skillet Casserole, Monster Cookie Bars, and more.
Most of the ingredients should be readily available in most kitchens, pantries, and spice racks. Each recipe starts with a list of ingredients; the steps are clear and easy to follow. The only disappointment here is that there are no pictures; a few pictures to highlight of some of the prepared recipes would be a perfect addition to this book.
Tables for cooking abbreviations and conversions are also included as are some general cooking tips.

Some include a link to another recipe in the book that would go along with the meal-muffins, etc. Other works by the author are inlcuded at the end.
Good, solid collection of recipes for the starter chef. I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian and found most of the recipes with ground beef could easily substitute fried, crumbled firm tofu (browned with a little honey/soy sauce towards the end of the frying). These are great starter recipes, so experiment with spices you enjoy ot want to try! Wish it had included a simple lettuce wrap, stir-fry, Greek omelet, or more international 30-minute dishes.
Another great cookbook by Hannah! I m glad that I can t gain weight by reading how to make her delicious sounding desserts. Otherwise I d be in a diabetic coma.
The rest of the recipes could be just as bad, however, this cookbook is for 30 Minute Meals and to make that time restriction, shortcuts have to be used somewhere.
So this cookbook will be kept in my collection of cookbooks and used when I need something , and I need it now!
My family loved your sloppy Joe recipe, thank you for another great cookbook Hannie!! Just like all the other cookbooks I've collected from this author, all the recipes are delicious and really easy to make. Highly recommend!!!
These recipes sound great; easy to do with staples I keep on hand. I have picked out several to do tonight including hamburger steak and gravy and the quickie blueberry cobbler. I always have fresh blueberries because we love blueberry pancakes often. All these recipes seem to be quick and easy. I really look forward to doing them all!
