Living for forever is the third book in the Battle Born Mc series and again a great story and read.
In this book, we get the story of Jenn and James, which we know from the previous books that they have a story but what we get to read in this one is going to change everything for you. It's my favourite book and I've read it in one sitting which i rarely do,but this story is sooo good and so well written, so everything that kept me awake and turning page after page just to read more and dive more in this captivating story full of everything wrong and bad and good and love at the end.
There are triggers, so not for the faint of heart, but in order to understand everything, Jenn's pain and heartbreak and why she chooses to give up, you have to read everything. Nobody will wish to live after they have gone through what she has, but there is someone for everyone and that someone is James, he shows her that there are reasons to live and overcome everything because Love will always win over in anything that comes our way.
I loved that we get to meet the other couples from the previous books and again we can see how much friendship and family means in our life.
I was sad, i cried, i wanted to stop reading, i wanted to shout out loud, i had hope and in the end, i loved so much this story.

A fantastic book. Author did a great job of telling Jenn's and James story. A story they almost didn't have. In the last book we knew something was really wrong with Jenn but nobody knew what it was or how to help her except to say they were there for her when she was ready. James was the security guy at the bar Vegas owned and Jenn was the DJ. They had a thing but she broke it off with him but knew they still loved each other.
Jenn slowly spins out of control and takes off. Next thing you know she is being forced to get help but it's not your normal way but what works is best. It's a tough road and when you lose something of yourself you are never the same person you was but you become who you were meant to be.
Loved this whole book but be careful it's full of triggers. I handled them all until the Epilogue....the "second Epilogue"... that's the only thing I really hated about this book....it was enough for me to change my mind from 5 stars to 4.

Let's just say we are really loving this series and we were so looking forward to this current tale and the author did not disappoint.
We have been following Jenn and James for sometime as they have been playing this dance of cat and mouse going on for sometime and we finally find out in this current story what's been keeping them apart.
This story took us on one heck of a roller-coaster and so many things make perfect sense now when it comes to Jenn's actions and deeds and her fears of making things permanent between her and James especially when you
new these two were meant to be together.
We loved Jenn from the first meeting her in the previous stories as she was a funny and had this vibrant personality and she was one tough cookie .This time around we saw a whole other side of Jenn .We saw her emotional and broken and lost.All those emotions have finally risen to the surface this time around and we definitely felt her pain and our heart broke for all the suffering that she has endure for years now.
I think that no matter what is going on in one's life when you have met your soul mate you just know and that is what it was like for James and Jenn it just took a bit of a rocky road for them to become one and strive for their happily ever after.
We really enjoyed this story and although the story was an emotional one it was a fun one to.With Jenn and Katrina aka The Black Widow hooking up together in this current tale of them taking care of business and cleaning house so to speak.They gave us tons laughs as well.We really loved how all Jenn's friends and family rallied around her and gave her the tough love that she needed to find herself again.
Jenn and James were perfect for one another.Their chemistry off the charts.Totally hot together and perfectly matched in and out of bed.This story was awesome and one of my favorites in the series as it was filled with tons of suspense,action,healing,and tons of secrets coming to life some good others bad.
A gripping read from beginning to end as we were engrossed in the story for the very first pages and we loved it !

I was honored to be in the ARC team for this book and let me tell you...this is AMAZING! Scarlett Black has done an amazing job with a roller coaster of emotion. You can go from pity to laughter to blood boiling rage to tears in these pages. There is no cliffhanger. The end of this book will tear your heart out AFTER you've emptied your tear ducts. Even though this is book 3 it can be read as a stand alone, but the first two books are also wonderful and characters from books 1 & 2 are mentioned. This book is for adults due to violence and sexual content. RECOMMENDED!

Well Scarlett Black has given us another wild ride. So much happens in this story, Black packs this story full of secondary stories as well as the main story of Jenn and James aka Saint. As the main characters they control the story but so much happens with the secondary characters as well. Author gives us some answers but also left me asking some questions of what happens next...
This story is not for the faint at heart, this story is raw, dark, and has triggers. Black does not sugar coat or skip over the ugly, she gives us all those parts but she does this in a beautiful way.
This story will grab you from the beginning and hold you tight til the end. Living for Forever was a rollercoaster of emotions whether I was jumping out of my seat or wanting to roll in a ball to cry . This author knows how to write angst but she also gives us humor..
Overall another hit for Black.. I personally cant wait for the next story in this series.

This book is a Masterpiece !! I thought I had seen Scarlett's writing talent in the previous books !! Well, I was clearly wrong.
This book is really well written, and the evolution of the characters in this book is necessary for how the story will go.
Honestly, this book is definitely my favorite and I can finally say that yes, I finally LIKE James, lol poor James, I thought he was too proper to be in a MC !! Again, I was wrong, the way Scarlett wrote about him in this book, I was completely amaze by how he really was, and I like this James much more.
Jenn, the main center of this book !! She broke my heart in this book. But she also showed me what was a strong woman, she's like a Phoenix in this book. She was just a shell of herself, but suddenly the Phoenix rise again, and damn she was a total badass !!
The way James and Jenn evolved together was intense and so good, at first they seemed so different, but actually that's the opposite, they're a Team, and a really freaking good one.

Ce livre est vraiment très bien écrit, et l'évolution des personnages dans ce livre est nécessaire pour la continuité de l'histoire.
Honnêtement, ce livre est définitivement mon préféré de la série, et je peux ENFIN dire que j'ai adoré James dans ce livre, lol pauvre James, je pensais qu'il était trop, réservé pour faire partit d'un MC !! Encore une fois, j'avais tord, la façon dont Scarlett le décrit dans ce livre, j'étais complètement fascinée, par qui il est réellement, et je préfère beaucoup plus ce James.
Jenn est quand même le personnage principal de ce livre !! Elle m'a brisé le cœur dans ce livre, mais elle m'a aussi montré ce qu'était de devenir une femme forte, elle est comme un Phénix dans ce livre. Elle était comme une coquille vide, mais soudainement, le Phénix s'est montré et là elle est devenue une femme forte.
La façon dont de Jenn et James évoluent ensemble était intense et génial, au premier abord ils paraissent complètement opposés, mais en faite c'est le contraire, ils sont une équipes, et équipes incroyables.

WOW Living forever was such a good story plus I'm such a huge fan of Scarlett Black from the first page of Betting on forever to the last page of this book the characters held a special place in my readers heart . Once Jenn was introduced she had me wanting to know more of her story and why she is so broken so my excitement was beyond fan girl with this landed in my kindle my heart so hurt for her she was so strong but fragile at the same time . Oh my gosh James you powerful man the things he did for the heroine even at times she treated him not so well he still fought for her and really saw who she was trying to hide . This wasn't my favorite in the series but is still was so amazing and if this is the first book that you have read by the author don't worry the battle Born Mc series can be read as standalone with some minor spoilers from previous books . I can't wait to see what's to come my this amazingly talented author .

Living for Forever is my first read in the Battle Born Brothers series and I did not know what I was in for in this runaway train of dark emotion. While not required, I recommend readers read the series in order. I believe a genuine connection with the characters would've help me to enjoy the story more.
Jenn has suffered more than most in her young life and she's struggling to come back from the trauma. After finding out that practically everything she's ever known is a lie, the struggle intensifies. But there is one man that will fight the devil himself to bring his woman back. James has waited and bided his time to take revenge on those that harmed his woman and now he's ready. Ready to destroy for her, ready to kill for her, all in the hopes that he can also show her how to live beyond the pain.
This book was much darker than my usual MC reads and it definitely wasn't my favorite story; it was just too heavy but the love between these two characters was rare. The battle they live through was incredible, making their comeback all the more worthwhile. I said it once already but this book was a runaway train from start to finish. Strap yourself in and keep the tissues handy!

First Scarlett Black captured me with book one in this series and I was hooked from the very first page and I could not get enough. Not only is this an MC story but it is a story about love, loss, addiction and finding ones self. Right from page one I could not put it down because I had been reading about Jenn all along and in Nothing Lasts Forever we get to see Jenn falling apart and retreating into herself and shutting the girls out and shutting James out.
James has decided to join the Battle Born MC and he also decides that no matter what he was not going to give Jenn up. He was not going to walk away from her because he loved her. Even when Jenn pushed him away he still watched her. Reading Jenn's story unfold and all the hurt she went through had me crying because it just broke my heart but when she was able to get a hold of herself and accept the help she had me cheering her on and I am so happy for her and James story and I need more because Scarlett had me on the edge of my seat crying and cheering for these two and so much more. Scarlett gets a BILLION STARS from me!

I’m a sobbing mess right now!! This book gutted me from start to finish. James and Jenn has a love story that can rival many others. Their love is so deep and consuming that it sucks you in completely. You are invested in their relationship just as much as they are. There are very difficult scenes to read. If you are triggered by any form of sexual abuse then I want to warn you now. Those scenes are very important for you to learn why Jenn has become the woman she has. I’m not going to say much more because I don’t want to give anything away. Just know this book is absolutely amazing but gut wrenching.

Wow just wow!! This book was the best of the three by far. Jenn will just break your heart ❤. So many little twists and truths revealed. James "Saint" is her soul mate. That ending just about broke my heart but also made it smile at the same time.
If you are a lover of MC genre books then series is definitely for you.

I absolutely am blown away with story, I can relate to Jenn so much in this story. Scarlett you had me absolutely blubbering by the end of the book. I cannot wait for the next chapter we in this gripping series!

LOVE this book! I wasn’t Jen’s biggest fan in the first two books, so I was wondering if I would love this book as much. This may be my favorite one! The passion between James and Jenn is electrifying, and leaves you wanting more with each page. We finally get to see what makes Jenn tick and it makes your heart ache for her. And she turns out to be a complete and total bad ass. By far an amazing book and an absolute must read.

This story! I fell in love with both James/Saint and Jenn/Reaper during book one. Their passion, their pain, their love just dove straight into my heart and took up residence. The men and women from these MCs are people I would love to know in real life. Ms. Scarlett Black writes one mesmerizing story and I look forward to more books from her.

What a roller coaster of emotions! We learn about Jenn and James in the last book, and we were left with so many questions and Scarlett does not let us down in answering them. I think I laughed, cried, yelled at least once every chapter. I could not have asked for a better book for Jenn and James. If you have yet to start this amazing series please do, you'll love it!

This is Jenn and James’s story. My heart broke for Jenn and everything she’s gone through, she always kept everything so hidden. I really like her as a character, she very strong and fiery. James has been in love with her and is determined to avenge her pains.
I recommend reading the series in order to follow the characters and get the full impact of the story. There’s a lot of emotion and I’d recommend it to anyone who liked mc.

Absolutely amazing
I was on one heck of an emotional roller coaster ride I laughed, I was shocked, I smiled, I sighed and by the end I was crying like a baby. The last epilogue oh my god it tore me up and spit me out. I'm still crying my eyes out. They say when two souls who are destined to be together find one another no one can rip apart. James and Jenn are two souls. I was one the edge of my seat and couldn't put this book down. If you haven't read this book you really need to. My advice start at the beginning you'll be glad you did.
I was on one heck of an emotional roller coaster ride I laughed, I was shocked, I smiled, I sighed and by the end I was crying like a baby. The last epilogue oh my god it tore me up and spit me out. I'm still crying my eyes out. They say when two souls who are destined to be together find one another no one can rip apart. James and Jenn are two souls. I was one the edge of my seat and couldn't put this book down. If you haven't read this book you really need to. My advice start at the beginning you'll be glad you did.

Finding the light beneath the dark
This is my favorite of the three books so far! Its got that dark edge to it but oh Jenn and James story just drags you in and can't wait for them to fall in love! I read it one night! Jenn's a fighter and James is a bad-ass protector!

This book is so emotionally gripping that you won’t put it down until your done. Jenn has serious demons from her attack and James just wants to love her and her her healthy. The storyline is definitely serious and will shatter your heart into a million pieces. Excellent writing. This is my favorite out of this series so far. A total must read.

Amazing Read
WOW! Living for Forever was fantastic! What a great read! Once again Scarlett Black has written an original story like i have never read before and that is what makes her and this MC series unique. Jenn and Saints story is a dark, but beautiful story at the same time. You will experience so many emotions. I can't wait to see what she has next.

Saint and Jenn's story was just phenomenal! Jenn is such a strong woman. Saint and her MC family are amazing! The ending was brilliantly written. I am still crying!

Where I the hell do I even begin on this review. Let me tell you what I told the author. I love and I hate you right now. Yes I am typing this while shedding tears. You f#$%ing gutted me. Thank you and you ROCK!!!(end of rant) You have a the awesome talent for making people feel just what your characters are going through. If I could give more than 5 stars I so would!! This is a beautiful story of losing one self reaching rock bottom to claw ones way back out on top.
We start right up where book 2 leaves off. This book is Jenn and James (Saints) story. We learn a little bit more about just what Jenn has been going through since the night of her mothers murder. She already feels like an outsider, but has really hidden it well. Always smiling while feel like she is dying on the inside. Jenn has gone through an horrific event she keeps from everyone who loves her. She has decided life is just not worth it. Her family and friends step up and make her see her soul is beautiful no matter what has happened in her past.
Saint has loved Jenn from the first moment he sees her. As we know he decided to prospect for the club, because he knows he needs more in his life. He also knows that he wants Jenn and nobody is going to stand in his way. When Jenn's past comes to light he steps up and shows her that he will do anything for her. The both of them together is explosive, but they both complement each other. They both have the dark inside of them, and James has no problem helping Jenn back into the light when the demons get to be too much.
All of the clubs have a very hard time with what has happened. Every single man in each club feels like they have let one of their own down. They all take it heart that one of their princesses has been hurt and dealing with things on her own. They all step up and help her see the light and prove to her that she is just as important and loved. Jenn is not impressed by their involvement and tries her damndest to ignore them.
The relationship between Jenn Cuervo his heartbreaking and beautiful all in one. Yes he did screw up, but did what he thought was right. Do I agree with it? No but does he redeem himself? You will have to read to find out. Cuervo has demons all on his own that he needs to put to rest. Many things come to light that will have your heart breaking and you may need a box of tissues. All I am going to say is ALL family is important blood or not.

Book three of the Battle Born MC series, and the action from the previous two books just keeps going! You do need to read the previous books, this is about a different couple, Jenn and James, but the books flow into each other. Just makes this a better read IMO. Now, Jenn we have watched for the past two books and we have seen her downward spiral and have seen her push James away. James gets the chance to prospect for the club and decides that this is the family he has been looking for and also gives him a change in scenery but still close to Jenn even though they aren't a thing anymore. Jenn is a huge mess, having to deal with past memories that keep haunting her, she finds a way to avoid the feelings... even if that way is less than healthy and leaves her feeling even worse about herself. When the club decides that Jenn needs help and makes sure she gets it, they find out more about her situation and what happened in the past. Now, its all about revenge and making sure the right people pay. What happens when Jenn learns secrets that have been kept from her? When the people she thought she knew turn out to be something different? Will Jenn be able to keep on the path of getting better or will this push her backwards to that downward spiral again?
WOW! This was very action packed, the action doesn't really stop, it was almost like there was no down time, just kept going from one situation to another. James and Jenn were freaking explosive when they finally made their way back to each other, and I loved the alpha that James displayed with that touch of BDSM, talk about HOT! The two ended up being more Bonnie and Clyde and that took this to a different level, Jenn with her need to make people pay and James to make sure his girl had what she needed. This was a great read, not my fav of the series, but a great read, and I'm just gonna say I could do without that ending. I give this 4.5 stars.

Jenn is a wreck, turned to drugs and alcohol. Only to be revealed that she was also raped while under her aunts roof. She hadn't told a soul. Not wanting to be a distraction or a burden, due to the club being at war. She kept it to herself. When all this comes to light, other secrets are uncovered.
James, who's a prospect, ex- Marines, assassin, who is a dark soul, he also worked security for the girls at The Black Rose. He loves Jenn and wants to be with her, but can see that she's hiding something. And wants to heal her. He finds out the truth and he's determined to help heal her, no matter how long it takes.
