Yikes.

Ok, the good:
-it was short.
-all Hero POV (I love that shiz)

The bad:
-total gross womanizer and manhoe
-oral with another woman on page (not cheating)
-a teacher who absolutely does not care about teaching. No interest in student, thinks they’re dumb and doesn’t care about them
-the Dare dialogue is painfully corny and hard to read
-the inner monologue is all over the place. We go over a topic, change topics for a paragraph, then go back to the same stuff. So much of it just didn’t make sense.
-lots of things are never explained
-never felt like he loved the heroine

I definitely won’t be reading any more books about his brothers working at this strip club.

“Darius” was a random read. It’s 72 pages long, and I had time for it. It’s in Darius's POV, and I didn’t mind at all. He works as the hottest male str¡pper at a club but is also a teacher at a prep school. The story is not dark and broody. It’s pretty light, fun, and hot. I liked it.

Woah, that was an *coughs* intense 30 minutes. Darius sure knows how to pack a punch. 0 to 100 in less than 60 seconds - if you know what I mean? *winks*

However, I’m now sitting here in a quandary. That ending! I don’t know what to make of it. The sod has left me wanting more.

What is it about a taboo romance story that appeals to me so much? Hmm *snorts*, probably best to avoid analysing that too closely. My mind is a scary place sometimes *smirks*

Anyhoo, if you love all things forbidden and smexy then Darius will definitely appeal to you. He certainly knows how to command your attention *winks*

I’m a newish reader to Marie Skye. Lawd help her, but she’s on my radar now. I wonder what other delights she’ll share with us soon.

A hot quick read that had a Taboo twist, Darius or Dare( his stage name) meets Dani and falls into a smokey intense affair, that leaves him still thinking about her. He gets a job as a teacher's assistant, at a Catholic school and who happens to be his student, the one chick he can't stop thinking about. He also happens to find out that Dani is his best friend's little sister that grew up like way up. He can't continue a relationship with her, but he also can't stand to see her with any of the immature high school boys.
Really good read, it was short and sweet, and Darius had all the characteristics I love Alpha, dirty talker. I think this could definitely be the start of an amazing series that features Dare's other strippers' friends.

Dare is just life.

Marie Skye killed it with this story we all need a little Dare in our life's and she delivered. I absolutely adored this story. Marie's writing is killer. Her story's are mind blowing and her talent is next level.

Quick, fun read

I thoroughly enjoyed this little book.
The author's writing style is straight talk and to the point, which I love in short reads. No mess no fuss dirty talk and some deliciously steamy scenes.
Not much to get your head around as far as plot is concerned, but and interesting unconventional initial meeting of the characters based on mistaken identity.
I enjoyed the brotherly camaraderie between the side characters of "Six", but would've liked it a lot more if the story centred around this was slightly more fleshed out. This could have been a fabulous book if it were a bit longer.
Still, if you're looking for an afternoon's heated entertainment, this is a worthwhile read, through and through.
Missed a star for unfortunate editing and grammatical errors, but not enough to ruin the story.
Low angst with a smidgen of off-page action.
Single POV entirely from male character.
Standalone. Heat level 4 flames.
HEA with epilogue.
Nice work.
I look forward to following this author.

When Darius, a stripper and new teacher, meets a young woman at a late night theater, they begin a hot little affair. Unfortunately for him, she turns out to be the very woman his best friend has asked him to watch over while his friend is deployed - his friend's little sister. Oops...and when he walks into his brand new high school classroom and that same woman is his student? Double oops!

There's not a whole heck of a lot to Darius, but it's a sexy piece of fluff. Don't be expecting any character and relationship development, because there is none, but it's steamy and entertaining if you're looking for something you can read in about an hour or two.

Darius by Marie Skye is an amazing quick read. I read this book in a couple of hours. This is the story for Darius (Dare) and Dani. Darius is a male dancer at Six and is a teacher at a prestigious school. Dani is a senior in high school. Dani’s brother Denton is Darius’ best friend and has asked him to look after Dani while he is away. Darius and Dani meet for the first time at the movie theater and get together for a couple of weeks. When school starts Darius discovers that the girl he met at the theater and his best friends sister are one and the same. What are they going to do about their relationship? Will they get their HEA? You will need to read the book to get the answers. This book has taboo, and has ups and downs and twists and turns. I loved this book and recommend it.

Once again, Marie Skye did a fabulous job with the story. Darius is a stripper at a male club during the night and a teacher in the morning. Danielle is a girl who passes by the 24/7 cinema opposite the male club. Day by day, Dare went to the cinema to watch movies with Danielle. One day the urge of having each other just explode and they fell in love. One thing is Dare didn't know that this full grown beautiful lady is his best friend's sister, Dani.

I really enjoy reading this but of course, it's not as good as Affliction or Suddenly Us (this is like other- than-incapable-series-this-is-the-best) I will give 4.7 stars for this book, although it's a quick read it's really enjoyable. Recommended to everyone, the sex is all super-steamy you will be wet after you finish this book for sure~

So, this is the rerelease of a short story from a no longer published anthology.

It was a taboo story although it didn’t start out that way. Dare (Darius) meets a woman at a late night movie theater and things heat up quickly. But things really heat up when she walks into his classroom and then realizes that she is someone from his past.

This is a quick read. Not that much depth or character development, but it was hot and they were a cute couple.

This is my first book by a new arthur and boy did I love this story. This was one hot quick read but it was good and loved the character's especially "Dare" when he came out to play😉. Imagine you've been seeing this girl for awhile and doing freaky thing's to only find out she's one of your student's and your best friend's sister oh yes out of the fire into the frying pan goes Darius. I just loved the conversations he'd have with himself. I would definitely recommend reading this if your looking for a hot quick read and just don't read it in a doctor's office like I started to if you get my point😜

A sexy taboo quick story. Darius was a dancer by night and a teacher by day. He also was suppose to be looking after he best friend's little sister Dani the book worm. He was hooking up with Danielle every night in the movie theatre and things were great. That all changed on his first day on his new job and when he hear a voice and not just any voice her voice Danielle. She was one of his students and she was Dani. What will happened to them once his best friend finds out.

Darius is the professor every girl dreamed of - loved his personality - he knew he didn't stand a chance in hades so he did the only thing he could
Danielle is our young heroine and wise beyond her years as well as maybe possibly a bit promiscuous
What starts out as an innocent attraction soon becomes a full-blown affair that could quite possibly cost Dare everything
This was previously published in an anthology that is no longer available and is now being offered as a standalone

Darius can be my book boyfriend any day as he's equal amounts swoonworthy and sexy.
Marie Skye is a new to me author and I really enjoyed reading this novella.
Darius and Danielle have a connection that starts with lust but becomes a whole lot more.
This novella is fast paced and kept me entertained throughout.
The storyline is good and I dare you to one click it as soon as you can.

This was a short book that was very sexy and taboo, Darius Knight was supposed to be looking out for his best friends little sister Dani - when he was heavily involved with Danielle. Not putting those together when he walked into the classroom it was like a slap across the face. Danielle was Dani and was his student in High School. What will happen to these two? Again, it's an easy amusing read. Enjoy!

This is a very short steamy read which is not the most well developed story or characters. This does not detract from the fact that this is supposed to be a fun sexy so what taboo read. If you looking for a quick read this will be it but if your looking for something more in-depth and character driven then this may not be for you.

Not a bad story if you are looking for something quick to read. I feel it could have been a tad bit better but I liked it. It was definitely fast paced though, especially the epilogue. Felt a little rushed in the end but since it is a short story it can be overlooked. I give it a 3 1/2 star rating.

Forbidden teacher/student reads are always fun to read.

This one was a quick read with lots of HOT sex scenes. Dare and Dani's chemistry is off the charts. There are other things such as jealously, fights, jail time, strippers to keep your interest.

If you want a quick fun/hot read than this is the book for you.

If you are looking for a short, quick hot read, you've found it. Face paced and a bit rushed, Dare and Dani play hot and dirty. The writing style is a little different, but not bad. The forbidden element makes it hott! Who doesn't want a teacher like Dare. I was a little disappointed because it never said anything about how Dani knew it was Dare when they met, but not a bad read.

This is a fun quick novella about a Teacher/Student Romance. It will grab you from the beginning and keep you held until the end. We meet Dare who is a very energetic guy trying to begin his career. Danielle is someone who happens to spark an interest in his eye and he pursues heavily. I liked the possession and demanding nature of Dare's personality along with Danielle's matureness for her age.

This was a hot and quick read. Darius and Danielle are super hot. He is a stripper and TA on his way to a teaching degree. She is a teacher and new to the school. How were they to know when they hooked up that it was so much more taboo than it seemed?
