Mummy Bear’s favorite game when she was little was chasing butterflies in Bluebell Meadow. Now Little Bear can’t wait to find this magical place for herself, but it’s time for her nap. When a butterfly lands on her nose, she sets out to find Bluebell Meadow with the help of her animal friends. Chasing the butterflies and making daisy chains is so much fun she completely forgets the time! "I wish I could stay here forever," she yawns, when a soft voice tells her to wake up. Could it all have been a dream? A gentle story about a little bear and the power of dreams, with a magical twist at the end. Beautifully illustrated, Little Bear and the Butterflies introduces young children to the pleasures of reading and sharing stories. Discussion points for parents and teachers are also included. About the author

Susan Quinn was born in Manchester but has travelled the world by way of South Africa and Australia.
As a child her favourite place was Dymocks Bookstore in Sydney which was where her passion for books started.
After becoming a children’s librarian and returning to England, Susan had a number of plays and short stories published.
However, her dream was always to be a children’s writer and her first children’s book, Little Bear and the Butterflies, was published by QED in 2014.
Since then, she has had a further four titles published including the acclaimed My Dad.

"Little Bear was almost asleep when something tickled her nose. It was a butterfly!"

It's a sweet bedtime story about Little Bear who followed a butterfly to a bluebell meadow and had a wonderful day playing among the beautiful flowers and butterflies. Simple and beautiful. Maybe suitable for 1-2 year olds.

Little Bear went through an adventure during her nap, the ending of the story was so sweet and I was not expecting it. The size of this book is nice because kids can see it from a far away angle. There are different fonts in the book in order for the reader to add emphasis on certain parts of the story. I like how there is a butterfly on every page.

Ini maniiiis banget!! Mulai dari ilustrasinya sampai ceritanya!
Tentang anak beruang yang ingin mengejar kupu-kupu. Ibunya bilang, "Kejarlah kupu-kupu di Bluebell Meadow setelah tidur siang". Tahu-tahunya, ada seekor kupu-kupu yang lewat di depan hidung si anak beruang dan membuatnya kontan mengejarnya. Anak beruang lalu bertemu kelinci dan tikus yang sama-sama ingin mengehar kupu-kupu. Mereka pun mencari dan bertanya-tanya ke semua hewan yang ditemui, "Ke arah mana Bluebell Meadow?".
Begitu sampai di sana, terbentang taman bunga dengan banyaaaaak kupu-kupu berwarna-warni. Cantiiiiik banget~~~!!! Huhuhu... senang sekali saya ngeliat halaman-halaman penuh warna sepanjang buku ini!!!
