This is a very informative book about cheetahs with wonderful photographs. My six-year-old and I enjoyed reading it together.
It does speak rather straightforwardly about cheetahs hunting and killing other animals and includes a photograph of an animal being eaten by cheetahs. This wasn't an issue for my kiddo, but if you have a kid who is particularly sensitive to that sort of thing, you may want to flip through it first.

April 10, 2019This does a wonderful job of incorporating vocabulary. I love the full page photographs and the small insets that do not distract from the main text. I would suggest this for an upper elementary level to read.
