God, the Evolver: A Secular Approach to the Divine by Faiz King is the result of scientific research and many years of work and reflection. This book was recommended to me by my friend, who knows my interest in this kind of literature and research. Faiz King's work exceeded my expectations. This is a really interesting book. This is a new vision and in-depth analysis of such important, complex, I would say, eternal questions, such as the conflict of religion and science. Absolutely original view of life and the predestination of man. I still rethink some of the postulates of this book. I strongly recommend to anyone who is interested in religion, anthropology and self-knowledge in a broader sense.

Certainly the topics of religion, science, anthropology are very complex issues. I want to note that Faiz King did a great job and his research is very interesting. In addition, the author gives very original, even unique thoughts. I think that God, the Evolver: A Secular Approach to the Divine will be interesting to both agnostics and religious people. In any case, this book gives food for thought. God, the Evolver: A Secular Approach to the Divine by Faiz King is one of the best non-fiction books I have read in the past few years.

A truly fascinating read that incorporates numerous sources, reconciling the perceived chasms between secular science and devout religion. This text, especially if approached with an open mind assists in the altering of perception from the generally held notion that Science and Religion are diametrically opposed to the linkages and connections found between them. This is a book that encourages further investigation and pursuit of possibilities, and easily has the power to change the reader's perspective on not only the world, but every aspect of the universe. I highly recommend this book to those willing to look at the split between the secular and the divine through a new lens.

This book, by Faiz King is a nonfiction philosophy based on how science and religion are interrelated. And how everything inbetween these two are overlooked. Because its this part that causes the controversy.
The author says evolution of us, living beings and spirituality are interlinked. That even a sceintific belief arises from an age old religious faith. Now, the author isn't supporting any one particular religion or tradition but is addressing the connection that, any religion's basic principles and beliefs associated with it are directly or indirectly arise from science and vice-versa. How everything, the start of evolution, based on Metaphysics is purely related to science and the gap between the two is explained.
Since centuries, the planet has evolved, some creatures have gone extinct while some are are still coming to the picture, but the human being is the most special and so is the human mind. What makes it so special and how does that help in explaining the gap?
Theres always a logic behind everything. Its just that we do not have enough knowledge to know of those things. The author speaks about God, creation, the human evolution, myths, metaphysics and science. Many unusual questions we often have on our minds are answered in this.
The author has very wisely and logically explained the concept and without hurting anyones feelings even while talking about such a topic. It also shows all the research and hardwork gone behind this. This might come in help for people who are doing a research on these topics or related ones.
The discussion goes in very deep but very clear and to the point that it makes it simple for the reader. No exaggeration or lag at all which happens often times with such books.
The author surely has put forward a unique way to describe this unique and diverse topic and impressionably so.
To say the truth, I didnt complete it in a go bacause it takes me time to take in such a subject. But I enjoyed reading it and I'm glad I invested some time into this book because its been all the worth. Its very knowledgeable.

The acceptance of the perception of author might vary from the perception of readers. But he has tried his well to keep it in an understanding way for the reader's.
He has used total 178 references for creating this piece. And he has stated all of them at the end of the book so that the interested people can try to gain more depth knowledge if they seek too.
Let me share few of my favorite lines :
1) This is pure mathematics and so the final resolution could be that God is a mathematician. And when you read the mind of God, we actually have a candidate for the mind of God.
2) Carl Sagan - “The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars. We are made of star stuff.”
3) Recorded Prophet Buddha as saying: I can affirm that a person who neither eats the flesh of other beings nor wears any part of the bodies of other beings, nor even thinks of eating or wearing these things, is a person who will gain liberation.
4) Your past is gone. The future hasn’t happened. Don’t stress. Live in the now. Everything in nature will soon come to pass. Why not maximize yourself for the present? It’s the only time that truly matters.

There are so many rituals which remains unnoticed and there are few we still follow till date which has been prevailing amongst us, which with people and their beliefs, few follow them ardently and few doesn't. The best could be on certain rituals which we have been following since ancient times which has myths as well, and now we know the scientific reasons too behind doing it and not doing it as well.
The deep questions which we often have been having with us since we were kids have been sorted beautifully by the author. Like why and how God created Man. And the origin of the rituals and why and how it took place and many more such question, you can have all the answers here. Science and religion has been beautifully described by the author.
Every new chapter begins with beautiful quotes which is so attractive and amazing itself. The author has done very deep research on various religions across the world and has worked on scientific researches as well.
I am not much into non fictional books, but this book attracted me a lot. I personally loved it. And for the ones who love reading non fiction more, this book is just for you❤.

One thought that generally gods and such divine stuffs are realted to mythology but connecting all these stuff to PHYSICS and science is something really interesting!!

This book comes with a ground breaking thought about human evolution. The book talks about the depths of God's Creation. The terms "science" and "religion" are well described through this book.
One thought that generally gods and such divine stuffs are realted to mythology but connecting all these stuff to PHYSICS and science is something really interesting!!
science has all the answers with different theories and scientific evidence to prove the existence but once believed towards different aspects.
There’s a potential force "METAPHYSICS" which governs all of the above cannot be denied. Metaphysics, necessary to realize the full extent of the rational and abstract properties of our human mind.

Totally Changed my perspective
What is the ultimate/real truth? Is there really a God or not. We, humans, have been speaking about God and been reading various religious books for ages. We have read about many things and have many beliefs related to God. But, has it ever came to your mind that is God really there or has someone in the past created such a mindset which followed on from ages to ages, so that we can get courage every time by saying that God is with me. When people say good luck or best of luck, then there is a question in my mind about what is luck and who decides the luck. Is God deciding everyone’s luck ??
Now coming to the Book. The author has very wisely and logically explained the concept of religion and science, without hurting anyone’s feelings even while talking about such a topic. It also shows all the research and hard-work gone behind this. This might come in help for people who are doing research on these topics or related ones. The book has answered so many of my unusual questions. The book undoubtedly presents a remarkably insightful look into the origins of the human

The author takes you on a philosophical & an eye-opening journey of his secular approach towards religion. Also he focuses on how both are the sides of the same coin.
You have to be open minded to read this pragmatic illustration intertwined with Metaphysics & Science. This is an interesting & intriguing narrative where the author has done a lot of in-depth research which you will marvel at specially the 178 references compiled at the end of the book.
The topic that gave me a lot of perspective were Logic of Rituals, Swine & Wine, Theories of God. The inferences drawn from all faiths like Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Christianity etc... has made it easier to relate to the temporal ideas the author wants to highlight here.
In all this is a thorough book to read with lot of insights to ponder upon. The beginning was a little tough for me but as the theories kept on materialising & progressing it turned to be a page turner.
I also admired the rationality of the content and the authors progressive display of such thoughts which is a must specially in today’s time.

I wasn't sure what to make of this book. On the one hand, it's quite interesting. Author Faiz King tackles many existential questions about God and evolution, and science and myth, and mixes it all together into a tight little book that examines the big questions of life: Does God exist? Did a race of extraterrestrial aliens plant the seeds of our existence? How do metaphysics and traditional beliefs stand up to scientific scrutiny? And vice versa: how much of science can be traced back to traditional beliefs and practices? The book is a terrific examination of science and religion. The author has a strong command of the history of religion, and what the Bible and Koran, and Buddha have to say about metaphysical things.
But I have a big complaint: the book is sloppy. I found many punctuation mistakes, inconsistencies in citing references, and at least two downright mistakes: King refers to studies by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institutes of Health, but he refers to both institutions with incorrect names. For a scholarly book, such simple errors are unforgiveable. The book should have undergone a thorough proofread before it was released.
But I have a big complaint: the book is sloppy. From that day, I have read so many non-fiction books. God, the Evolver consists of theories of God that will open your eyes and mind. Integrated Information Theory and The Anthropic Principle, Quantum Worlds and the illusion of free will are some of the topics discussed in this book and will definitely catch your attention. We perform rituals with full dedication and they also raise our awareness of God at the individual level or community level. This book also explains that when we are fasting, we experience the spiritual high. Here, our relation is with the angels that are spiritual beings created of light. So, these angels feel free whenever we are fasting. Similarly, many more theories are in this book that will make your faith stronger. This is a unique book and I felt peace while reading this. It helped me to sort my thoughts and actions. The book is written in an easy language with clear and smooth narration. Totally enjoyed it and I want to recommend it to my fellow readers.

"God, the Evolver" is a philosophical non-fiction by Faiz King. It's a journey which will show you a connection between science and religion. The title of each chapter is perfect. And i liked the way each chapter starts with the quotes extracted from the articles and religious books.
Two terms science and religion are well described through this book in the excellent way. The book talks about metaphysics, anthropology, linguistics, beliefs, evolution, truth of life, Parthenogenesis etc. The book is highly preferred for research readers, Because he discussed about many topics which is important for the future generations. And more beautiful facts are there, which will make you think and let you develop yourself.
Author done a great controversial topic. Actually in every book author will show the normal routine topics like love, friendship, heartbroken, regrets etc., even someones apart. This book has the strength and capability to start a debate, and can hold as a strong base for people who's trying to find more on the topic of religion and science.
This book can be labeled as a master piece in talking about how evolution, sciene and religion is connected or what they are, and how they come into picture.
The author has done a wonderful job in bringing up the topic, despite the fact that not everyone will take it in the way the author have talked about it. The topics that has been talked about in here, is very well researched, and has a clarity over everything, it gives us a clear idea, but it doesn't stop there, it pushes us into getting in more and more knowledge on this topic.
I have invested my time in the right way, and even though I was a bit sceptical about how I might feel about this topic, let me be honest, the author didn't even at any point trigger the religious person in me. I don't know if it's because I'm cool with accepting certain things, but this has been one of the master piece kind of book I've read. The time spent in this is worth it. The narration is lucid, with a good language. Overall a wonderful read, that makes us think and learn.

This book hunt through a variety of themes from the viewpoint of science and religion in such deepness that you may never have considered them before.The Title of the book is just on point and the contents this book has is really amazing.
Even if the concept appears to be exquisite , the author has taken it and narrated it in such a way that we can grasp the words and physics. Religion and science are elementally irreconcilable. They might co-exist but can never mix. The composite architecture most often takes a form of religion in which logic is mixed with retrial to emotions based on images of psychological.
By the end of this book you will be able to understand the debate and realize that higher-order religious operation are necessary to realize the full extent of the logical and abstract properties of our human mind. Even if the concept appears to be exquisite , the author has taken it and narrated it in such a way that we can grasp the words and physics. Religion and science are elementally irreconcilable. They might co-exist but can never mix. The composite architecture most often takes a form of religion in which logic is mixed with retrial to emotions based on images of psychological.
By the end of this book you will be able to understand the debate and realize that higher-order religious operation are necessary to realize the full extent of the logical and abstract properties of our human mind. And that’s exactly what sets us apart from the rest of the creatures that live on this planet.

" God, the Evolver: A Secular Approach to the Divine " by Faiz King is an amazing book that perfectly relates science and religion.
This contains explanation to many religious beliefs and the hidden science behind those believes.
This things written in this book are highly researched and provided scientific proof with it.
Like it explains the role of " god " and his omnipresence by the reference of various scientific and religious texts.
This book is divided into a total of 19 chapters explaining evolution of human , role of " metaphysics " and other many things from " quantum worlds" to the " god".
Moreover , it covers an amazing variety of topics, together with philosophy, social science, evolution, and linguistics; several religious thought are also mentioned with their scientific angles.
Taking about the language , it is very smoothly written in a lucid way and very easy to understand.
Overall an amazing book for everyone , it is a must read to all.

man in the sky” is not supported by Abrahamic Scriptures. The best way to picture the God is to pause for a moment and delve within ourselves. The God is in the Mirror.
Through this book, we get to know about the existence of God and evolution as researched by various scientists and mathematicians. Creation and evolution go together and God can be visualized as a scientist who operates according to scientific method.
I really appreciate author's vast research that he must have done before writing this book. The various theories presented in this book were eye opener for me. Book is written well and one can finish it in a single sitting if they read it at a peaceful place with full concentration. Man created God or God created man
Just completed this masterpiece which study religions through scientific microscope.
I would like to appreciate the authors for in depth knowledge of world's most of the religion.
Then to test those knowledge, beliefs with the modern day science.
Sometimes we don't follow some religious customs or beliefs untill any solid scientific reason or research backs it. Like it is prohibited religiously to look at the sun during eclipse with naked eyes. This custom is religious belief of India and now scientific reasons also discourage us to do so.
So we can say there is science and experience of people as they evolve from cave man to today's man.
