Since 2008 I have spent a significant amount of time in Grand Canyon, especially on rafting trips down the Colorado River. As a result, I have become well acquainted with a number of the trails within the canyon that either end at or start at the river. Annerino's guide book presents excellent trail descriptions and offers sound advice. Canyon hikers would benefit by either reading this book in advance of each Grand Canyon hike or taking it along with them for each outing. Annerino has helped me to appreciate the great privilege we have to hike Grand Canyon's trails and to experience the beauties of this marvelous natural wonder.
