Details the exploits of ten women pirates from all over the world, including Alfhild the Viking princess and twentieth century Chinese pirate Lai Choi San.
This book, while it was not what I usually read, was obviously well-written. It wasn't too formal to the point of being boring, but at the same time, it was professional. It was interesting and gave enough information for me to complete a detailed class book report on just one of the women. It was very helpful in the long run, and it was interesting to see how they overcame what they did. Overall, it was very well written and helpful, even though it is not exactly up my alley. If you need something for a book report, this is a recommendation, definitely.
