This tome of picture puzzles finally got re-read in my quest to re-read and downsize my book collection. It's one that I loved as a kid and I can see why.

This book is a bind-up of four different picture puzzle books relating to travel, history, dinosaurs, and castles. I always had a particular fondness for the travel one, but they're all great. They provide some cool snippets of information for kids, the illustrations are bright and fun, and they showcase a number of diverse locations. Speaking from experience, this collection of picture puzzles can certainly occupy young readers for hours.

Mommy's review from 9/16/11 -

We found this at the library and of course since it has dinosaurs we had to take it home. All of the UsBorne's I've ever seen have been great. I have yet to see any that are lacking in any way. Not all that we've had would get 5 stars from us but this one deserves it IMO.
Julia loves dinosaurs but this has enough searches that we couldn't do them all in one sitting. We did between 1-3 pages at a time and there are 11 searched in all I think. There are, if I remember correctly, about three pages of info in the beginning and each of the searches has a good bit of info also.
Each search page contains a very decent amount of different plants or animals to search for. The time period these things are from is included along with a bit about that time period. In addition to that there is a small sentence about the exact item being searched.
This isn't for very young kids though - the searches are very clustered. We even missed a few here and there and there were two of us - one being an adult.
If you have a kid that likes searching like this and likes these time periods it's definitely worth taking a look at. There's an answer key for each search in the back and also included are three small - very small - "quizzes" at the end.
It should be noted that not all of the searches are about dinosaurs.
