Super cute! My 4-year-old son has a dentist appointment this weekend (not his first one but he grumbled when I mentioned it), so I started reading this with him. He’s asked me to read it several times, which is a good sign. His favorite parts are the mention of the crocodile & the picture of the sugar bugs at the end. This is a good book to set a positive & silly tone before a dentist visit.

Adorable

If the Dentist Were an Animal is an adorable book about going to the dentist but then what if the dentist was, say, a kangaroo, or a fish. I absolutely hate the dentist and this book has helped me to see the dentist is just there to for me and the health of my teeth. 😉 The pictures are amazing, the message is perfect, and this book is just delightful. There are also some activities at the end of the book for that extra added enjoyment.

My daughter loves this book. It should be in every dental office. After we read it, she always wants to talk about the flossing chart in the back. It is so fun to imagine your Dentist, or Doctor being a silly animal, like an octopus. Besides being an entertaining story, the illustrations are fantastic.

Dentist visit can be fun

This is a great book for first time dentist visitors. It was funny and colorful. We read it on Kindle but still did some of the activities we could. It would have been great to do them all.

Great to read before kiddo’s first dentist visit

I think this book make going to the dentist sound less scary and even a little fun. I like the whimsical way the author framed the job of a dentist. Can’t wait to recommend this book to kids.
