He was the handsome stranger at the bar. I was the jilted bride sobbing into the train of my wedding dress. It was supposed to be one night... Fate had other plans.
"Come up to my room with me..."
The invitation came in a deep, husky voice as I was sobbing into my floral arrangement and consuming all the alcohol during the lowest night of my life. I should have said 'no'. It was wrong to accept the handsome soldier's offer. But I was hurting. I wanted those rough hands and those soft lips and that sculpted body on me. To ease the pain.
Just for one night.
I was never supposed to see him again. But two years later, he's here—in Copper Heights, Illinois—just as tall, rugged and charming as the night we met.
Meanwhile, I've got green pea puree in my hair, dark circles around my eyes and I can't remember the last time I changed out of these yoga pants.
Yup—things are different now. I'm different now. I'm a mother. Overworked, sleep deprived and running on an empty tank. Plus, I have a business to run and I'm determined to prove that I can do it on my own.
But he's a distraction. He's staring at me, his dark, compelling eyes raking my rumpled figure like I just stepped off a runway. I must be dreaming because there's no way he's attracted to me.
Agreeing to let him work at my daycare is a terrible idea. I'm his boss in the day. But at night, he's in my bed and he's calling all the shots.
The charming tower of a man has his secrets and I've got mine. I should really keep my distance.
This is going to be a nightmare...so why is he watching me like I'm his dream come true?
The following ratings are out of 5: Romance: 🖤💙❤️💜💚 Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥 Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙 World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌍 Character development: 🙂🥰☺️😋 Narrator(s): 🎙🎙🎙🎙 Narration type: Dual Narration
The heroine:Sophie - Two years ago she was in Las Vegas to get married when she was ghosted by her fiancée at the alter. She was drinking and sobbing at the bar in her wedding gown when a magnificent looking man comes up to her and asks her to his room. He tells her that he is the perfect rebound and not only because he has impressive upper body strength. Within minutes he has her laughing, and she decides to make him her rebound and spends the night with him without even exchanging names.
The Hero:Archie - he was a military man who got injured by a roadside bomb in his last tour of duty and was stitched together in a military hospital. His left hand has nerve damage and is always stiff and painful. He was drifting around the country in his truck for a while and his two best friends talked him into coming to Copper Heights. He is doing odd jobs for Hartley construction company. He still hasn’t forgotten the girl from Las Vegas two years ago.
The Story: Sophie now has a one-and-a-half-year-old daughter named River. She has a good group of friends, and she has been doing daycare out of her home and she is currently in the process of moving it out of the house and opening a real day care center. She isn’t ready to date again, especially because she can’t get River’s father out of her mind. Since she won’t sign up for a dating app, her friends talk her into going out to a club for the night.
Sophie’s best friends take her out to the club and want to set her up with their husbands' friend who is in town for a bit. She is not happy about it, especially because she is self conscious of her body. When Sophie meets the guy her friends were going to set her up with, she finds that he is the same man she hasn’t been able to get out of her mind.
I really liked both of these characters. I loved the fact they had never gotten each other out of their minds. Sophie was reluctant to tell Archie about River because he is the kind of guy that never stays in one place very long. Archie wanted Sophie so much, but he thinks that he is not good enough for her and thinks he is less than a man because of what happened to him. They were both good people and I loved the fact that Sophie was such a hard worker and how much she loves working with children.
This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Anastasia Watley and Tor Thom. Tor Thom always does a terrific job and has a nice deep voice which I enjoy. Anastasia Watley was a new narrator to me. Her voice isn’t annoying like some, but it definitely isn’t one of my favorites, it is a bit too deep for a heroine, though it does sound feminine, and her male voice is pretty good though it isn’t all that different from her female voice. Overall, the narration wasn’t too bad.
I loved this book. I love how the hero and heroine met, and how they fell in love. All in one long sad night! Then he is deployed and she goes back to her life. Except she's not alone. I love secret baby romances but only if both the h and the H are true to one another. And this one delivers. He is wounded in the war, she has a baby and opens a daycare, and they reconnect in a very kismet type of meeting and I loved it. They didn't know each other's real names so it was so serendipitous. They are some sad moments, some I want to kill him moments but it really does come around in the end! Great epilogue too. One negative thing, it really bothered me too. His name was Archie. Lousy name for a beautiful hero.
I want to take care of her. I want to hold her and find a way to make everything better. I want it so bad it makes me forget I’m broken myself.

It's the end of the Blue Collar Bachelors series and Dream Boy was a perfect finish. We have become invested in Copper Heights and Sophie and Archie's story is a great addition. Two years prior, Sophie was in Las Vegas planning to marry her childhood sweetheart Josh when he jilts her at the alter. She's sitting at her reception party distraught and lost when a sexy, smooth talking stranger shows up. She needs to run away for the moment from all the chaos. She needs one night to escape and this guy seems to be the distraction that she needs. They agree to no real names, no real life, just one night to let go. She becomes Daisy and he becomes Tony. They plan on never seeing each other again because Tony is a soldier and is being deployed in the morning. Sophie will have to return to her small town of Copper Heights to deal with the fall out. Guess what? Fate has other plans for these two! It's the present and Sophie is now a single mother. She works hard, surrounded by friends and family but is lonely for the man she never forgot. Archie is a wounded veteran that has been wandering and trying to find his place in the world. His military friends Leo and Charlie invite him to their town of Copper Heights to work with them and hopefully find a home. Neither Sophie or Archie expected to see each other again and they have some big hurdles to overcome but if they're willing to work together, they will be twice as strong. Dream Boy has laughs, tears, angst and love. It's told from dual POV and I recommend reading the rest of the books in the series even though it stands alone because of all the supporting characters.
This was written very nicely, the storyline flowed really well with lots of cozy and engaging details and events.
However, the scenes where River, aka the child, appeared were lacking considering this was a secret baby second chance romance, I expected more of her here.
But still, it was nice to see how the MMC and FMC interacted with each other and made decisions (for the relationship, mostly) without the child involved, as in they didn’t get together just for the sake of the child.
Overall, this was a really good read, I’d probably love it more if the baby appeared more throughout the book. Still, I enjoyed it a lot and had a really good time here. Until next time!
Have you ever read a book and become emotionally invested with the characters and what they go through? This book gave me all the feels, the sizzling tension, the flirting, the banter, the sad moments and the wonderful friendships in this story made me smile big! The author has nailed this beautiful story to perfection! I just love Sophia and her drive to be an independent woman! I loved her friends too. I mean who wouldn’t want friends like them?? Archie, oh boy, well man, lol! Cant you just feel his whole demeanor leaping off the words?? Oh my goodness! Talk about a man with a very large heart but who is also going through a very difficult time. What I like about this story was that it is in fact a beautiful heartwarming love story to end all time... Ever wondered what would happen about the one that got away and then came back?? This has to be one of my absolute favorite books of 2018! This book may cause deep emotions to surface but in the end isnt love and romance what it's all about?
Archie is an ex marine who was injured in the line of duty. But one amazing night before he inlisted he meet the woman of his dreams. They had one amazing night together. "Daisy" is all he could think about for 2 hole years while he was off in another world fighting the only thing that kept him going was his daisy. Sophia just had the worst day if her life when she got stood up at the ulter. She did not know that day would change her life forever. She did not think that she would ever get to see her "Tony" well he came back to a one major surprise. This book was awesome. I did not want it to end. Like a great book u never want it to end. I can not wait for the next book. Congratulations Cassie-Ann L. Miller. You did an amazing job again on this great book. My heart goes out to Archie and all the struggles he had to endure and things yet to overcome. I know so many people who have been affected by there war experiences
Stopped at chapter 6- don't like what fueled this story
I am sure many would find this entertaining. I was done for good when she pretended not to know him amongst their mutual friends. I get tired of these stories when characters are so insecure that they can't even be truthful...hence that's what fuels the story.
Could not subject myself to more of that. So skipped from chapter 6 to chapter 30 then couldn't even do that so end it was.
I enjoyed it thoroughly, this is those feel good kind of novels. The tight friendship that these people have are like goals. The couple is too adorable who has been through hell in their life, but that one night changed everything for them, they became each other's strength for the coming 2 yrs when they were apart in different continents facing their own battles on their own, only thing that kept them sane were mere the thoughts and promises and image of each other on that one beautiful night they spent together, but now he's back in town with lot of injuries and an amputee leg after his last deployment from military, and she's having a baby of his from that night, but nobody knows that Archie is the real father, they assume it's the baby of her ex who never showed up the altar on their supposed wedding, the day when she was drowning her sorrowful tears, the day when the stranger man came and swept her off her feet like nobody else ever did, and now that he's in town, and to her surprise, he's the guy that her friends want to meet, nobody knows the secret, but when they meet, that strange yearning and feelings are still there, she's afraid to let him know about his daughter in the fear to loose him again, so she keeps that info under the rugs, but he finds about it later, it caused a bit of tension but he was happy to finally find his home with his family, but his inability to man up according to him crushes him so much that he takes off thinking she be better without him (he's insecure about his leg and the scars from his battlefield, he feels bad he's not strong enough to protect his family because of his physical disabilities because doesn't want to be like his father, when the baby accidentally fell into the pool he couldn't run to pick his baby, but his brother in law saved instead because he collapsed on the ground like a helpless man when he rushed to pick her up, something snapped him on his prosthetic leg and that broke him from inside and he can't stand when he himself feels this inadequate for his family and he felt Sophie and baby deserved so much more than an inadequate man, and he actually flees away for this reason causing so many heartaches to both , although she never said so, she loves him so much that it hurts her so much that he can't see past his insecurities). It's doing no good to either her or him, because they love each other so much but his pride and insecurities is just hurting each other, but when he comes back to defend her ex mother in law (that lady and her son were nuts, that guy is a literal idiot, riding on his dad's credit card and will do any bullshit, these lame and pathetic people dragged Sophia to court asking for visitation when the baby was not even of ex's, but when that didn't work out they tried to make a case of her returning the engagement ring, it was so lame, but that incident had her broken, because she feared she would loose her baby too now that Archie left her, but Archie came back (all thanks to their amazing friends who put some sense to his thick skull ) and flipped them off. Now they're all back happy and she forgave him for leaving her and he accepted that despite his inability he can still protect and love his family, now finally her business takes off with the support of Archie and their friends and the story ends where it all started, the same Las Vegas, where they fake wed, after 2 yrs it all came to a full circle, them getting married at LV for real this time, to never leave each's side again. What a beautiful story! It was wholesome and heartwarming, it feels nice to see people meet their IT person and after years of hardships they finally catch on to it, for something beautiful and that will change lives for good for both of them, it makes you want to believe in fate.

I voluntarily reviewed I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I loved this book! Archie and Sophia give everyone hope that there really is someone meant just for you. These two have a chance meeting, Sophia, heartbroken, shattered and stood up on her wedding day, drowning herself in alcohol at a bar in Vegas, when a handsome nameless stranger strikes up conversation and turns her world upside down. In one night they share everything, hopes, dreams, intimate truths about themselves, amazing sex, why not they will never see each other again, right? He’s being deployed, and she is going back to her hometown to deal with the humiliation of being jilted. As fate has it, they will find their way back to each other two years later and not even know it, they never got each other’s real names, but when Archie is standing in front of her, she is speechless. So many feelings, these two couldn’t forget each other, and through all his hard times she kept him going, her laugh, her smile, and the thought of having her in his life and there she is in the flesh. Known as Tony and Daisy, living a night of lust, feelings and emotions, one thing forgotten in the heat of the moment leads to a secret that hasn’t been shared, now that Archie is back can Sophia trust him with her secret? How will he react when the truth comes out? Archie is a proud man, he’s broken and put back together piece by piece, he’s struggling to hold onto everything that he just might crumble when the truth comes to light. Sophia is guarded, so scared to let anyone in especially Archie, will these two be able to get past all the confusion, and secrets to be together? Their relationship is warm, loving, sexy, makes you have all the feels, you want what they have, and you want them to win in the end, but it’s up to them to grab the life they want by the reigns and take it! So, so, so good, I could go on and one, but no spoilers here. This has to be one of my favorite books by Cassie, I highly recommend this book.
This one definitely got me in the feels and was a great romance. Archie (terrible name lol) stole my heart and Sophie truly epitomized a strong heroine.
Archie and Sophie met the night Sophie was left at the altar. She found herself at a bar drinking her sorrows away with a sexy stranger next to her invited her up to his room. they fell in love that night, but Archie was deploying the next day. They didn't exchange real names, so they had no way of finding each other.
Fast forward several years and Archie is visiting his former military buddies. He's been wondering from town to town trying to find peace after an IED left him injured and an amputee. He never forgot Sophie, so when he runs into her in the same town he's visiting, he feels like he's getting a second chance at life and love.
But Sophie is keeping a secret from Archie and hiding the fact that they created a cute baby girl, River, that Vegas night. I personally hate when a heroine keeps the baby a secret when she has the chance to come clean right away. I get her reasoning, but it wasn't her choice to make (legally or ethically). Archie was adorable with River and was such a doting father. He really wanted to be everything that little girl wanted in a father.
There were a couple issues I had with the book. I didn't like that the author just brushed over the fact that Archie had a prosthetic leg. That would have been an ideal time to educate others on the mechanics of it, complications, daily care, etc. It's mentioned that he has one and he collapses at one point, but we don't see how this plays into their daily life. The other issue was the fact that Archie was apparently very broke even though he SHOULD have had quite a bit of money from his military career. I wasn't buying that he was that broke that quickly after being discharged when all he did was drive around and stay in cheap motels.
This was definitely one of the better books in the series and a great one to end on.
I laughed, I swooned, I cried, I fell in love with Archie and Sophia!
Wow, this book has Every. Thing! Archie is the perfect blend of alpha protective swoon-worthy book boyfriend and broken, wounded, tug-your-heartstrings-right-outta-your-chest bad boy. This story is more than just the usual insta-love, second-chance, or secret-baby romance, though it really is all three as well.
When they first met, Sophia was on the rebound of all rebounds - crying into her wedding dress in a bar after being jilted just hours earlier. Archie was charming personified, determined to give this girl back her mojo before leaving on what would be his last deployment. One magical night, no names, no follow-up, no way to turn it into more. Until it turns into more anyway, when Sophia discovers she's pregnant.
When they meet again two years later, Archie's been through his own private hell while Sophia is just getting her groove back, expanding her in-home daycare business and beginning to consider dating again. When these two meet and realize their earlier connection, the sparks that fly make fireworks look like matches by comparison. But boy oh boy, do these two have some issues to work through - both individually and together.
The writing is stellar, the characters are vividly depicted, and the emotional roller coaster is instantly captivating and oh so fulfilling. All six of these Blue Collar Bachelors are hot alpha love machines, but Archie just stole my heart right from the start. I couldn't have loved this book more, and it's already found a permanent place on my reread shelf. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Second chance romance and secret baby are two of my favorite tropes.
Add in I met my husband in Vegas and with him deploying pretty quickly after our whirlwind weekend together. He was even injured in the line of duty by an IED, too. I thought I was going to eat this book up!
But dang I could not stand this FMC. I wanted to yell and rage at her. I understand the hurt and pain that comes from toxic exes and difficult families. There wasn’t much redeeming qualities about her. She’s prideful but to a ridiculous effort. Things like taking a 50 mins bus ride instead of taking a friends offer of a ride. Like, who has a child and says, “yes please let me ride the bus with an infant in a small town and mediocre public transportation”? But then she’s not prideful enough to how her family treats her, uses her sister to babysit a lot. And how she lets her employee walk all over her. At one point she’s in court against her ex and his mom over selling her engagement right that he called off the wedding at the alter because she never did anything about the injunction they sent her. She just ignores things and pretends they’ll work themselves out?
Man, it’s been a while since I was this heated by a fictional character. I’m a mom of four kids, the FMC saying her kid is your priority but her actions don’t reflect that makes me boil. And how Archie is a wounded vet. My husband is too. His pain and suffering is well done and easy to empathize and love him. It was just the FMC who sucked. She was just a spoiled brat from beginning to end.
Dream Boy is the sixth book in the Blue Collar Bachelors series. Sophia has had a rough couple of years, with her groom not showing up to their wedding, being a single mom, and trying her hardest to set up a childcare center. Archie is back from his deployment, feeling less of a man, and is shocked to see Sophia surrounded by his friends from the military. Their attraction is just as strong as it was two years ago, but Sophia is hiding a big secret. Can these two help heal each other’s hearts, or will the secrets only divide them?
What a fantastic book! I always hate it when series end, but love how well this one was wrapped up! I loved Sophia and Archie, both their romance two years ago and their new and lasting one! Sophia has such a strong back bone, never giving up, and trying her hardest to turn the lemons life threw at her into something wonderful. Archie didn’t grow up with a good male influence, and he was determined to never let love rule his heart, but Sophia blew that rule away. I loved both of their heartbreaking backstories and loved how that shaped who they are now. This book mostly focused on their own relationship, and I loved that you could feel their chemistry and connection through the pages. I enjoyed seeing some of the previous couples again, and while this book could stand-alone, I think it’s best read with the series to get the full feel and experience of her backstory. I have loved this series and loved every second of reading this book!
This was the sixth book in the Blue Collar Bachelor series and the one I've been waiting for!
We met Sophia in book one of this series, when she was left at the alter on her wedding day. In the second book, we discovered that she was pregnant, and she gave birth to her daughter, River, in the fourth book.
This book takes place two years after the day she was supposed to get married, and we discover that the father of her child was not her fiancé, but Archie, a soldier who she met as she was drinking her sorrows in the bar on the night of her wedding. Archie, as it turns out, is the friend of Leo and Charlie (the heroes in books one and two), and they were all in the military together. Archie, wounded after leaving the military, moves to Copper Heights and is shocked to see Sophia again - he hadn't stopped thinking about her since the day they met. Sophia is equally shocked to see Archie, and is unsure how to tell him that he has a daughter.
I LOVED the plot of this one, and seeing Sophia's story evolve since the first book in this series really made me hyped to read this. Overall I think this was a great book. There was a little more angst than I usually like, but I think it was well written and it kept me hooked the whole time. I feel like there wasn't as much intimacy between Sophia and Archie and there was less focus on the sex scenes than in the previous books, so I would have liked one more sex scene, but otherwise I really enjoyed this!
Oh how I loved this perfect read by the superb author Cassie-Ann who tells it as it is! Such an hilarious read, that everyone with children can empathise with! So sad that this is the last in the Blue Collar Bachelors Series Set in Copper Heights. I have loved them all, books that you just want to read again and again! Archie and Sophie’s storyline was heartbreaking, hilarious, romantic, and a hot read. Sophie was jilted at the altar in Las Vegas and she has a perfect rebound night with her wedding day hero who she meets at the bar! 2 years later she has a beautiful 18 month old daughter River, who her whole life is set around. She is a self sufficient mum who runs a day care kindergarten centre. All Sophie wants now is a father for her daughter. But Archie is a wanderer with a lost soul, due to his injuries in the army, he feels he has nothing to offer his Daisy, even though he has never forgotten her! Will Sophie’s life be all about bad descisions? Will Archie ever get to know Sophie’s secret? Sophie owes River her dad can she fix her bad descision and does she have enough courage to divulge her secret? Can Archie trust Sophie with his whole body and help her make her dreams come true? I can wholeheartedly recommend this great book as a must read. I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving a free copy
This is something of a second chance romance. I have read most of the Blue Collar Bachelor Series and loved them. But I feel a little dissapointed in this book. The impression I got about our heroine, Sophia, was not a positive one. Yes, she has a lot to deal with. Yes, she is emotionally beaten down. However, she is determined to prove to everyone that she can be successful without the help of friends or family. But she does not realize till very late in the book that fear paralyzes her good judgement and she continues to either take no action or the wrong action and she is desperate for her parents’ approval. I don't know, I just was not feeling the love for Sophia. Our hero, Archie, now there is an interesting character and story. When Sophia meets Archie the first time, he is a confidant, a friend, a lover and meets her emotional needs. He bolsters her self-worth. When he returns from the war, he feels he like a shell of a man he once was, not worthy of any good woman's love. When he sees Sophia two years later, she runs from him. She has a secret and is not ready to share it with him. Archie loves Sophia but feels he can never be the man she needs and deserves. I feel that I was able to relate to Archie much more than to Sophia. Overall, I liked the story. But I could easily pass it up. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I love Cassie-Ann's series of Blue Collar Bachelors. It is an incredibly entertaining series and “Dream Boy” definitely does not disappoint. Sophie and Archie meet in a bar but what makes this story different is that Sophie is sitting in her wedding dress after being jilted at the altar. Archie offers to help her forget and they end up in his room. Two years later, Archie is back and has never forgotten the wonderful night spent in Sophie's arms. He would like to pick up where they left off but Sophie has an unexpected surprise for him. Will Archie get a second-chance with Sophie? The chemistry between the characters was is so hot and the storyline so well-written that I had very hard time putting this book down. If you're looking for an emotional, sexy, fun romance that will hold your attention till the end then “Dream Boy” is the one. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
It's not my cup of tea. At the time, I didn't need a drama book , but quite late, I realized it would make me sad more now. It was heavy for me at the moment, and maybe I am over military books and try to avoid them. But for one, it was nice. There was a story and HEA, but there were things missing and quite unimaginable. How Archie managed to work at the daycare working with all the kids, paying extra attention to River as she was his favorite and never once heard that child call Sophia "Mommy" or something for two three days. It was just bizare. I would've liked for her to be more involved in the story. Actually, I see more bond between her parents and River. It sounded a good line for the story to have a child with a one nightstand and two years later to meet him again, but the lack of scenes with River made it look like a bad used proped. I'm just giving it 2 stars for the friends, family drama, and Clara.

Cassie-Ann L. Miller mesmerized me with this book about Daisy/Sophia and Tony/Archie. She was left at the alter and goes to a bar in Vegas to drink away her sorrow when Tony introduces himself and helps her wash away her tears that night. He takes her back to his hotel room where he worships her body and gives her what her ex had never been able to fulfill without even giving her his name. When he leaves for deployment, she feels more devastated than Josh left her at the church but weeks later she finds solace with a surprise visitor to her life. Two years later she gets another surprise when Archie finds his way to Copper Heights. This story is well crafted and brings hot sexual chemistry, angst, heartache and sweet romance. The main characters were easy to love with their broken hearts as they wind their way to a HEA.
Jilted bride Sophia Gallo is drowning her sorrows in a Vegas bar when a handsome stranger says "Come up to my room with me..." Sophia can't forget about her one night stand, and not just because she got a daughter out of it. Archibald Jones has a one night stand with the girl of his dreams that ruins him for other women. When Archie is injured by a roadside bomb during his last tour of duty, his best friend convince him to move to Copper Heights. Sophia is freaked out that the gorgeous Archie is in her hometown of Copper Heights and he doesn't know that he's the father of her child. There's unfinished business between the beautiful Sophia and Archie and he has every intention of getting right back into it with Sophia. What happens when Archie finds out about River, his daughter with Sophia?
Dream Boy is a fun, emotional and steamy story that will draw you in
This book finishes off Sophia’s story - one that definitely needed an ending!
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...right?
With Sophia’s luck more than likely she’ll be going home with more than a headache and a few war wounds - wounds happily inflicted by the self appointed and affectionately named, Tony.
Fast forward 2 years and she’s not the same woman he met sitting at the bar, wiping her eyes on her wedding gown. Even though she’s changed, Tony (really named Archie) he cant let go and he can’t move on.
With a mountain of obstacles ahead of them including their own battle scars and past hurts, you find yourself praying for a happy ending for two most deserving people
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. I wasn't excited to read Sophia story because she came off as uptight and spoilt in the previous books. But her story proved me wrong. I glad her character and personality change because now I really excited I read her story. As always Cassie Ann L Miller created a wonderful story that has you laughing out loud no matter where you are. Archie was a shock for me because I always thought Sophia was pregnant for her ex fiance. Archie was swoon worthy and dreamy, which was exactly the sort of man Sophia needed to bring out her fun side. What a page turner.
Same scenario has so many others. A 15 month old shouldn't be eating pureed anything. I think it's time authors start changing this "secret baby" crap. It's not like she got pregnant on her own. Tell the father and create a story around her strength, whether the father runs or stays. Parts of the story don't make sense, like the declined credit card. I know it's a novel but it's just wrong on so many levels. He served his country and almost died. Are you telling readers he doesn't get a dime from the government for his service and sacrifice?
Best of the series. Sophia finally gets her happily ever after. Her rebound one night stand was her soulmate. They knew it at the time but each had things to face before they could come together for their happy ending. The process for Special Forces Archie (Tony on the night they met) was arduous but his memories of Sophia (Daisy on the night they met) carried him through his tour of duty/injury/re-entry. Meanwhile Sophia struggles as a single mom who has taken a huge hit to her ego after being left at the altar by her jerky ex fiancee. Fell in love with them both.
I have been waiting on Sophie's love story since the first book in the Blue Collar series. This book blew my mind on so many levels. I already loved Sophie and I fell for Archie at his first lines. I could not put this book down. There was so much going on that I wanted to turn the pages faster! Hurray for Archie and Sophie getting their HEA at last. I don't like to see a series end; but, this book gave this series a spectacular send off. Anxiously waiting for the next series from Ms. Miller. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
I loved Archie and Sophia! Sophia definitely made the right choice in Vegas with this handsome soldier. It was so great seeing fate bring these two together after two years apart. All that time they both had each other on their minds, which is such a swoon worthy story. This book was perfect! It was amazingly written, steamy, and funny. Add in a hot soldier and a strong single mother, it's one fantastic piece of work! I am sad it's the conclusion to the Blue Collar Bachelor's Series, but I'm definitely looking forward to what Cassie-Ann works up next! 5 hot stars
This newest release will give you all the feels! A secret baby romance that also have so much more to it. For Sophia it was a second chance at love and for Archie it was insta love that he couldn’t forget. From the first meeting their heat leveled sizzle and only burned hotter when they once again reconnect. This will have you laughing, crying and just plain smile with the entertaining and enjoyable well written story and great characters that you can help but love. This is my favorite of the series and a definite recommend.
Ok so after bits of Sophia and already rooting for her in book 4 Ben & Angie I was annoyed to see she became victim to the “throw my guard up and judge him harshly” way of thinking. I was expecting Sophia to keep her level head way of thing. Her strength and way of thinking positive was forgotten in her own story. After reading book 2 (the one I started with) then books 3 & 4 I hurriedly jumped to Sophias story. As of right now Clinton and Vivian are my favorite couple and story (book 3) At least she had reasons to judge and hesitate.
When Sophia's good for nothing fiance stands her up at the alter she finds herself at the bar drinking dirty martinis and crying into her wedding veil.
Archie sees her at the bar and is compelled to be with her even if its just one night. He will be shipping out soon but he is drawn to Sophia. Little did they know that their one night in Vegas would drastically change Sophia's life.
Loved their story - it made me emotional when Archie doubted himself, he is so broken and doesn't see himself the way Sophia sees him. 💞
