Thos Moser's Measured Shop Drawings for American Furniture

Rate this book
“Moser has produced a wealth of beautiful furniture in a style that combines the best traits of Shaker and other traditional American styles. This title offers measured drawings for a number of Moser’s works, with close-ups of particularly complex areas. Included are plans for beds, cabinets, chairs, clocks, and many other furnishings. A solid purchase for libraries.”—Library Journal.

Some nice enough furniture based loosely on traditional American furniture which could be built by a skilled worker. Nothing special, some are very modern looking.

This book is a Thos Moser Company, group project. They knuckled down and produced proper drawings for all of their work. It's a big improvement on the first book by Moser (How to Build Shaker Furniture).

Excellent detailed drawings for well proportioned hardwood furniture that will work in many styles of home or apartment. Worth buying and keeping in your workshop.
