How I Met My Mommy (Life With Chrissy Book 1) by Calliope St. James: This is a Sapphic age play book (MDlg) We are invited into the lives of Chris and Maria. This book follows them through their first meeting and following. The character of Chris is beguiling she fits so well into her role. Maria is strong and nurturing again well written. I enjoyed the book a lot. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea. I had doubts as well. I stepped into a place where I had not been when a friend said I should read this. I am glad I did. It is an easy short read. It is part of a series and now I will start ‘My New Little Life (Life with Chrissy Book 2)’. I am hopeful it will be even more. 4 stars.

Really good!
It's super well-written. It's a first-person perspective, which is my preference - especially when it's written half-decently. And in this case it is.
It has length and is part of a series of books, so there's some depth to the characters and the story, and it takes its time and doesn't rush through the events.
The characters are different than the usual broody, dominant male with muscles, and the elfin, innocent young girl. Here it's two women; one with a dominant persona and one with a childish persona. And I like different.
The sex is hot, like super hot. It's difficult to write sex well. Either it gets too mechanical (in, out, in, out...) or too lyrical (her magnificent bosom glistened like summer dew on a...). This does it well, because it integrates itself into the story.
It's definitely high on the tender-loving-and-care spectrum of age-play stories, and it is off the charts on the little-girl scale as well. The main character has a very vibrant, childish personality.
The actual story is quite mundane and believable. It's just two women who meet each other and develop a relationship because they click - and then it's off to the races! It's very simple, but it's so well-written.
Of all the age-play books I've read, I won't hesitate to say that this is among the best. And since it's the first in a series, I'm right off to the next.

I’ve read this book numerous times. While it does feel fast paced there are 3 more books in the series that help flesh out the characters better. The author is an amazing writer!

Delightful and quite well-written F/F MDLG story. It is somewhat cerebral but nevertheless very sensual and engaging. Be sure to read all the Life With Chrissy books by this author. You will not be disappointed. XOXOXOs to Calliope St. James for creating this wonderful series! My F/F D/s partner and I selected a scenario from each of the stories to act out. Each proved to be very heavenly;)

3 stars. Very interesting start to the series. I've already read the next two books and enjoyed those immensely but this one was good for what it was. The characters are likable and their chemistry is top notch and I like the writing quite a bit. Very cute, fluffy and quick read.

This wasn't my kink before and it's still not exactly my kink now, but it's telling that in spite of both of those things, Calliope manages to make an engaging story that's sweet, cute, fun, and sexy.

I loved Chrissy. Her personality and perspective were priceless. She is funny, endearing, and beautifully written. That's not to say I didn't also enjoy Maria. I can't wait to read more of this series!

I guess I didn't understand exactly what this story was going to be... but, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Definitely looking forward to the next part of the story!

What a good mommy.
Nice cozy read. Definitely intrigued with this Mommy dom. I like how it wasn’t too aggressive - just sweet enough.
