Biker with Benefits was a fun installment to this series. Biker with Benefits follows Jax and Harmony, two very different people who meet by chance and are made for each other.
Jax has a past to overcome and issues to deal with. Harmony is an aspiring singer. They have instant attraction and chemistry. Both want more from life and want to make things happen for themselves. So they take a road trip and start a new life. There are ups and downs for sure. But will they make it work?
Biker with Benefits was a fast, fun read for me. There is angst and drama and passion and love and hot steamy scenes. Jax was hot and even with his issues, I loved his character. Both him and Harmony weren’t perfect, but they were both great individually and together.
If you want a fun read, pick this one up!

One thing I absolutely adore about a miller book is the steam! The build up and final act of sexy times is always so HOTT!! I also love the curiosity and adventure that the characters take while exploring their sexuality! You don’t see many authors do that and I applaud Miller for doing something beyond the norm!
While I enjoyed Jax and Harmonys story I felt the story line was a bit rushed and I would’ve loved to have more! I felt I still had lingering questions and curiosities about them and their lives! I will say that I enjoyed a male character who was strong and outspoken but also had a soft spot for the things he was passionate about!

This is the fifteenth book I've read by Mickey Miller that I enjoyed from beginning to end. The moment Jax meets Harmony, everything gets interesting all the way up until that ending that I never saw coming. And the love scenes were exceptionally mind blowing as well. In order to see why I made these comments, you have to read it for yourself and let me know if you agree or disagree with my review but hopefully you'll agree that you enjoyed it as much as me and if not, then this book wasn't for you and that's okay. Everyone has different opinions on what they like or don't like, but I, for one recommend that you give this book at least a 50% chance before putting it down.

Blackwell never fails to entertain! Two down on their luck people find in each other the strength and love to look for a better future. Jax and Harmony are each struggling in their lives, trying to put the past behind them and pursue their dreams. This is difficult when everyone around them seems to be dragging them down, telling them they can't do it, or give up. The development of Jax and Harmony's characters keep you invested in their story as they bend and rethink how they are living, how they WANT to live. They play off each other well and seem in sync almost from the start.
What confused me was the actions of some of the surrounding characters, especially those we met in previous stories. The hatred? toward Jax (yeah he made some BIG mistakes - he paid his dues, people can change) was so intense but didn't seem clearly explained. At least not to me. And with the way Harmony's father and stepmother treated her through most of the story, the ending didn't seem to fit. One big happy family? It was as if all the loose ends were tied up in a pretty bow.
That being said, I still found it an entertaining read. The story does keep you turning pages to follow this hot, sexy journey with this perfectly imperfect pair and rooting them on to a HEA.

Oh, how I wish Blackwell was a real place. The books never reveal where it is, but I'm going to make it my life's mission to find it. Even if it has a Brigadoon-esque existence. I'll wait on the bridge for it to appear! I love these characters! Each man sexy and sweet, each girl strong and snarky. Here we see two characters, broken yet destined for each other, breaking free of the city lines of Blackwell.
Jax Reid has a reputation in Blackwell, and not a good one. He made a wrong decision once. One made for the right reason, but wrong none the less. He's paid his dues, but he can't escape the stares, the whispers, the image painted of him as a criminal. At the end of his rope and buying in to everything they all say about him, SHE happens. The angel with the voice of salvation. Could she be the one to finally save him from himself?
Harmony Lane had it all. A life in LA. A man who loved her. A promising song-writing career. Now, she back home in Blackwell after losing it all. A chance meeting with the sexy biker suddenly changes her whole path. Everyone is warning her to stay away from him, but for the life of her she just can't. Could it be that their two broken souls can mend each other? Will she be able to chase her dreams with him by her side, or will she have to let him go?
I loved Jax and Harmony's love story. Their journey from broken to whole was amazing! And Jax? He's the ultimate hero. One of the things I love about this series is how easy the reader can relate to the characters. As a female romance reader, I've read my share of stories involving 6 foot 4, anatomically blessed, ex-Navy SEALs, and not once have I ever met one in real life. But my chances of meeting a handsome, sexy teacher, mechanic, CEO, bartender, or biker? Probably a lot better, yeah?

Jax and Harmony are two lost souls that call to the other. Harmony's voice mesmerizes Jax and fixes something inside him. The first time he hears her perform it's in front of seven bar patrons, but he knows she belongs on an arena stage, sharing her gift and singing for thousands. Harmony looks beyond the tough, tattooed exterior and prison record and sees the beautiful, generous heart of Jax. They both have a lot of baggage, but they find themselves leaving it behind in Blackwell and hitting the road on Jax's bike, heading to Nashville.
Mickey Miller's work is great fun to read, and each book seems to be better than the last, so it was a treat to read an early copy of this one. With an engaging storyline, beautifully bruised and dented but innately loveable characters, the perfect seasoning of humor and heart, and a heat level set to scorching (this is the After Dark series, after all) Biker With Benefits is easily an auto 1-Click read.

Not your typical biker romance, Jax is more of a loner as he assimilates back into life after serving time, not a social butterfly by any means to begin with because of how he grew up but after his release he was even more so. Harmony is going through some tough times in her life, ex stole from her, she's living back at home with a stepmother who is just "delightful" and struggling to find her place in the music business, all clues for a knight to come riding in on his noble steed, right? Jax may be a loner but he can't walk away from a damsel in distress especially when her singing lures him to her, pulling him in so when Harmony is stranded a needs a ride he's there to give her a ride. This story has a lot going on, but when is life not complicated right? Jax has his own hangups and unexpected deep feelings for Harmony throws him into a protective role yet is he ready for it? Harmony is in a whirlwind of emotions and new ventures just trying to be a twenty-three year old woman living parents' house rules. This story has it all: heat, humor, great characters, a fun read!

I love visiting Blackwell and all their residents, in Biker With Benefits we get to know Jax and Harmony’s story. These two have been through quite a journey as individuals but it’s where they’re heading once they meet one another that pulled me in. To be honest I thought this would be more of a MC storyline based on the title alone but I was enjoyably surprised reading the blurb and knew I just had to hear their story. To see both Jax and Harmony continue to push forward and follow their dreams even when there are people trying to stand in their way is inspiring. Yes this is a stand-alone in a series and you can read them out of order but I would recommend you grab all the books in this series and get to know everyone. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

The w/ Benefits series has been wonderful each book leaves you wanting more and this one was no exception. Jax & Harmony's story was wonderful with a few twists I did not see coming. From the first time Jax hears her perform he knows she belongs on an arena stage, not in the little hole in the wall bar performing for only a handful of people. Jax out after serving time is trying to adjust to life again and wants to get away from it all and start over where no one knows his story, but he cannot walk away from her.
This book was a really fun read, full of humor, steamy scenes, and loveable characters.

Biker with Benefits is a unique, must-read story that I really enjoyed, but not what I expected! Never judge a book by its cover and never underestimate the power of determination and love!
Jax has made mistakes, is broken, and at the end of his ropes when a beautiful voice captures his attention. When he finds that it is attached to a women more beautiful than her voice he can’t help but be drawn in.
Harmony loves to sing, but due to past circumstances and no one who believes in her, is singing in a nowhere bar when Jax walks in and ends up being her savior and her strength to follow her dreams for the second time.

I loved this book and pretty much finished it in a day. It was interesting and kept me sucked in. I loved that they persevered through all of the obstacles they had...her dad and step-mom being unsupportive. His friends being jerks, her friends being jerks, etc. And I loved all of the sexy hot scenes and build up with Jax and Harmony. The only thing that sort of lost me was the photoshoot scene with Andrew. When was this even discussed because I felt like I was missing something. It just seemed out of place to me.

A great read that offers complex characters, a well written storyline and powerful emotions. Harmony and Jax share an intense, poignant connection and their chemistry is steamy. A great story about two people finding their way, while finding each other.
Jax meets Harmony after he hears her singing in a bar. Her voice speaks to him. It is an interesting ride as they try to sort out their pasts, while trying to figure out what the future holds.
I would definitely love to take a ride with this biker, and you will too!

Another awesome read by Mickey Miller! A chance meeting Jax walking into a bar where Harmony is singing country music! Their love was insta love and l loved it! Love how Jax helps Harmony get her music career off and running, while building his own career! These two are crazy, sexy, hot together!

What an unexpectedly great trip ❤️
This book is so unexpectedly different and that's what makes it so attractive to me.
You read 'Biker' and have a relative expectation of what Jax is and what could happen and that's exactly where you're wrong.
You follow the story, Jax and Harmony meet each other, get to know each other, make out and you expect to go to the next base. And again things are different than expected.
And these unexpected twists every time you think as an experienced reader, now there are only two ways to go, then it comes surprisingly different, refreshingly unconventional and so rousing - I call it the 'Mickey-Miller-effect' and it's fun!
It is not that the goals are not achieved, oh no, all that must be is definitely included: tension, crackling, obstacles, progress, setbacks, trust, uncertainties, drama and of course unconditional, hot love with the HEA. Everything there and much more...
Including all stations it is the most exciting journey with surprises and interesting points of view for me this summer and alone the way there is THE best.
There is one more thing I would like to say in advance: We're not dealing with a biker and his MC, violence and violations of the law, and exceptionally that's a good thing. Everything is so different and so beautiful. Did I mention the 'Mickey-Miller-effect' yet? 😉 amazing

Quick read/Sweet book
Oh my! A quick four hour read, mostly because I didn’t want to put it down. I’ve never been so happy to see someone get their just desserts. Yay Jax & Harmony for doing it the right way! This book was a sweet ride. I felt like both Jax and Harmony got closure with their parents, their pasts, and were set up well for their future. It’s nice to see all that happen in one storyline. I wonder if we’ll ever hear more from Andrew?

Hot, sweet and totally swoon worthy. That is what you get with the fifth installment of Mickey Miller's Blackwell series. With story with turns and twists that will give you whiplash, and a powerful couple who defy everything and everyone, Miller and his readers The Misfits have outdone themselves with this amazing story. You won't be able to put this book down.

What can I say about Biker with Benefits it was H.A.F. and a pager turner. I have to say this is my favorite from the Blackwell series. You Will wamt to read this book I promise you.🔥🔥🔥

Wow, another awesome book by Mickey Miller! This is one book that you NEED to READ—you won’t regret it! The story held my attention and was entertaining, but also was angsty and emotional. An engaging story that will keep you captivated and glued to the pages of this fascinating storyline, and the momentum of the story keeps you wanting to read more. From the very first page I was spellbound by these fantastically described characters that you will find yourself falling in love with them. Set in a small town called Blackwell, and now we get Jax Reid and Harmony’s story. Jax is a very handsome, tattooed, a biker, and he served almost a year in jail. Harmony plays a guitar and is a singer. Both Jax and Harmony must battle with their responsibilities and issues from their past, yet they are SO good together. Read Harmony and Jax’s journey—it is one hell of a rollercoaster ride! Their journey is full of hurt, trust, intrigue, commitment, and love. There several twists and turns within the storyline that will pique your interest—you will not be disappointed. The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next.

I thourghly enjoyed this book. The plot was fantastic and the characters were great. I loved that it focused more on the story than sex. Sometimes less is more! But let me tell you though, the sex scenes that are in it are extremely hot! Oh my gosh! Especially "The Watcher" scene. 🔥🔥🔥
Jax and Harmony are perfect for each other. Harmony is the light at the end of Jax's tunnel. I love that she teaches him that physical touch doesn't have to be terrifying. Jax also reminds her that tomorrow never comes and to take risks. Also speaking of the characters, I wanted to smack Harmony's Stepmother. Everytime she came into the picture I caught myself yelling at my kindle. I could feel my BP rising. She deserves no happiness in my opinion. Errrr!
My only irritation is the cover. While it is extremely hot it does not fit the description of Jax.
To sum everything up. This was an excellent read and would absoutely recommend it.

Allora ho finito questa serie ieri e devo dire che tutti i personaggi sono interessanti. Certo meno di altri ma comunque abbiamo una buona vista della vita a Blackwell. Con i suoi alti e i suoi bassi ma sempre una bella vista resta!
I primi tre libri li ho divorati mesi fa e gli ultimi tre in due soli giorni!
I personaggi sono frizzanti, e molto sensuali. Le coppie sono perfette perché uno completa la parte mancante dell'altro.
Certo in quello del Bartender si poteva azzardare di più con la trama avendo una buona base! Più dramma e più discordia tra i due protagonisti, ma va bene così! La finta coppia alla fine ce la fa!
Per quanto riguarda il motociclista/chef e la cantautrice c'è tanto dramma e viene spiegato alla perfezione. Non ci sono buchi di trama anche se avrei preferito vedere un pelino di più la madre dello chef e la sorellina. Sapere cose ne è stato di loro dopo che lo hanno abbandonato, quali drammi ci sono stati nelle loro vite e avere un finale sui nonni anche magari! Ma son punti di vista esterni dalla storia principale dunque non servivano per forza. Solo parere mio personale per un quadro completo!
Comunque sono soddisfatta delle mie letture per questa serie!

This book is the fifth in the Blackwell After Dark series. I was really looking forward to reading this book of bad boy Jax and his good girl Harmony.
I thought Jax was a great character. He was tough but he also had that whole teddy bear side to him as well. He was caring towards those close to him, he really looked out for Harmony which was great. How could we not love Jax!
Harmony is somewhat of a good girl. At first I thought she was shy.. But then the story progressed and her character confused me... There were a couple of things that didn't read well for me where Harmony was concerned. But other than that I thought these two characters were great together. I love the whole dynamic of opposites attracting.
The story was great. I was hooked from the start and loved what I was reading. I did feel like the ending fell a little flat of what I was expecting, but I still like Jax's story. It was also nice to see the men of Blackwell throughout this book as well, as well as Rose. I can't wait to see what is next in line from Mickey. He is definitely one of my favourite male authors!

I have been a huge fan of Mickey Miller’s Blackwell series. They are sexy and steamy and Biker with Benefits was all that and more. Two broken characters who found each other when they needed it. Though this is part of a series, each can be read as a standalone, however, they are so worth reading as well!
Both Jax and Harmony carry the demons of their past. Jax is a very complicated man. Just out of prison, he is trying to find his way back into society. Harmony’s life is not in a good place right now. All she wants is to find her place in the world of music. Both face many obstacles ahead of them, gut when they find each other one night, could it change everything for them?
Normally I find Mickey Miller’s Blackwell series more on the humorous side, and though this one had its moments, it was also very heartfelt and well, as expected also steamy. I loved both Jax and Harmony and their story. I rooted for them towards their happily-ever-after with every word read.

Biker with Benefits, the 5th book in the Blackwell Series is probably by far one of my favorites so far. We have bad boy Jax Reid, literally a bad boy whose been to prison but what no one cared to ask is why he did what he did to land himself there. Should the reason really matter?
Then we have Harmony, a siren beauty who just happens to sooth the savage beast that Jax seems to be becoming. It's a rocky road for these two and the ride isn't always strait and narrow. Twists, turns, and you will not want to put this down. I read it in one sitting. I was that enthralled. I wanted to throw my kindle a few times and even may have shed a tear or two, that's how good this book is. If you can get that kind of emotional response, you've got a wicked good story.
So you won't be disappointed at all folks. Pick up this book, you need to read it!
