Very romantic!!!! In mills n boons language, every part of my body is aching to find my true love after this story. Sorry!!! Just kidding. I like the detailing of the story. I liked the way the expressions have been used to depict the emotions.

Very atmospheric. I loved the setting and the characters were great in this one. Tense and action-packed in parts. An outstanding Medieval Romance.

What a great way to continue from the last book Betrayed Hearts!

I loved how this novel followed Edwin, Ghislaine's best friend in the last book, and how there was quite a few years separating the novels. It did take me a while to figure out all the important information this story held because I found the writing much more difficult to understand, confusing me enormously. When I got to the end it all thankfully fell into place, and I understood it all perfectly.

I must warn that in this trilogy, this is the only book that was quite gruesomely gory. I didn't mind it, but it was extremely painful to read, making my stomach churn repulsively at certain parts.

Out of this trilogy this was my least liked book due to the fact that I couldn't understand most of the novel, which wrecked the experience for me. 2.5 Stars.
