Scott Demyan, one of the most polarizing players on the Dartmouth Cobras hockey team, has grown a lot over the past few years. He’s a family man. A father. A dedicated player. He’s become someone to look up to…
But he’s still part of the Trouble Triplets. And behaving can get boring.
What better way to spice up the summer than to take the rivalry developing with the team ‘rookies’ to the next level. A few harmless pranks should keep things interesting.
Until what started as a joke gets a bit…cocky.
In the most literal sense of the word.
When the conflict draws the attention of not only upper management, but the media, the consequences could impact the coming season. And the life he’s worked so hard to build. Can he take the lead and remind the men the games they play off the ice don’t change where they stand as a team? Prove to those he loves that he hasn’t forgotten what’s really important?
He has one chance to repair the damage he’s done.
And it’s going to leave a mark.

Tell you about me? Hmm, well there's not much to say. I love hockey and cars and my kids…not in that order of course! Lol! When I'm not writing—which isn't often—I'm usually watching a game or a car show while working on promo. Going out with my kids is my only down time. I get to clear my head and forget everything.

As for when and why I first started writing, I guess I thought I'd get extra cookies if I was quiet for awhile—that's how young I was. I used to bring my grandmother barely legible pages filled with tales of evil unicorns. She told me then that I would be a famous author.

I hope one day to prove her right.

5 Star Review Cocky Shot (The Dartmouth Cobras - An Off Ice Novella) by Bianca Sommerland
A quick, fun and oh so hot novella from Bianca Sommerland’s with several members of the Dartmouth Cobra’s ice hockey team. If you like sexy hockey players, BDSM, characters that will melt your heart and your panties, then look no further.
As this was a novella I was able to read this in one seating and although it was not a particularly long book, Ms.Sommerland still managed to keep me fully engaged and entertained. I just knew that this was going to be an awesome read and I wasn’t disappointed!!!
This book is about the “older” trouble triplets and the rookies who want to take the baton from them. What happens when pranks go too far? Serious repercussions that’s what ! Scott leads the way in this novella getting into trouble with Tyler and Luke and although he has matured since he found happiness with Becky and Zach, the temptation is still there on some level..
When they get themselves into trouble Scott is devastated that he has let those that he loves down, however he steps up and decides to take the punishment that is required.
The younger rookies Hunt, Ladd and Richards are in as much trouble for their pranks and surprisingly it is Hunt that steps up to take the punishment on behalf of the rookies..
In Cocky Shot we get to see more of the vulnerable and caring side of Hunt, particularly in respect to Ladd and I must say I really loved seeing this, the possibilities for these two are endless and I cannot wait to find out what Ms.Sommerland has in store as she slowly winds up the Dartmouth Cobras series.
Bianca Sommerland, congratulations you have a winner on your hands. One click now, you won’t be disappointed.

3.5 Stars...

For now. See, I just realized that I haven't rated most of the other books in this series, which I know I've read most of...and I have that stupid policy (now) about not back-date rating when it's been more than a couple weeks since I've finished a book. (I allow that far back because it's hard to post on Vacay and I typically don't have reliable internet access when traveling. Also, hotel wifi is too damned slow!)

And it's been so long that, while the characters and pairings are still familiar, I need to go back and start over because I kept getting confused when some characters used their teammates' first names and others used last names when they were talking to/about them...

So, yeah.

Re-read is in order, soonish. Well, I won't read the prequel 'cause I know what happens to that couple later and I just can't with the heart-break right now. Also, it's probably MF. Not in the mood for that. Actually, that means I'll probably skip right to book 3 (which is MMF) since 1 & 2 are Het menage-y and I'm also not in the mood for that, either...

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

A wonderful little addition to the Cobras series - an essential read for any fan! Catch up with the regular gang and find out more about some of the recent additions to the team (two men in particular ... with hints for the future).

A one off joke starts off a bit of a war between the newbies and the regular jokers ... unfortunately a couple of other events cause an escalation in the level of trouble. Punishments follow - and given the predilections of the Cobras, you can imagine what form those might take! And they lead to an incredibly hot scene for Scott .... phwoar.

This may be a novella, but it does a great job of keeping fans engaged and ready for the next book.

This new novella in the Dartmouth Cobras series does not disappoint! Pranks are running rampant in the off season, with the Trouble Triplets bearing the brunt so far. Could the rookies be seeking revenge? When a candid video goes viral, things come to a head, and punishments are in order. When the general manager owns a BDSM club, and most of the team are members, the punishments are more intense than a game suspension!

The “new-ish” goalie Dave Hunt and legendary troublemaker Scott Demyan volunteer to take the punishment on behalf of the two groups involved, and in so doing, gain so much more than a little pain. Dave is fighting his attraction to another player and doesn’t want to make things difficult. Scott is part of a triad but feeling more like a third wheel. With their submissions, they are able to grow up and accept that things (and people) are not always as they seem, and find acceptance and – if not love, then a pretty close facsimile of it.

A great tease to keep us sated until the next Cobras novel comes out. The author has great skill at keeping those pages turning, and the reader begging “Mistress, more please!!”

Growing up is hard to do, maturing is even harder. This is a quick check in with our favourite trouble triplets and the rookie crew. While we get to see a bit of Tyler and Luke, Scott is really the focus here. He is getting older, he has his family that he loves unconditionally, and he isn’t going back to the lifestyle he once had. A little bit of a mess up leaves him feeling bereft, so he does what he needs to make it right. He is still Scott, and Becky and Zach wouldn’t have him any other way!

We get to see more from our newbies, and a bit of story building for them. Hunt is growing up, and he feels like the mature one when hanging out with Richards and Ladd. We get a bit more sight into Hunt and Ladd’s lives, but just a taste. I have always been fascinated with Hunt, so any bit of him makes me happy

Just a shot, a single look, into the complicated lives of Scott and Dave, keeping some things so simple, while setting others up for the complications likely to come

The Dartmouth Cobras are one of my all time favourite hockey teams and I was so excited when I heard a novella was being released let me first say this quick fast paced read did not disappoint in fact it was way better than I could ever have expected.
This quick read features the Trouble Triplets and once again we see just how much trouble these guys can get into but this time it’s not only them stirring up trouble in Cocky Shot they manage it encourage 3 rookies to get involved. The guys may have grown up in many ways but they won’t let any rookie get the better of them and that’s when the fun and games really begin.......
I loved how this author gave us new characters that gelled so well with the old , I loved seeing where life has taken the players I fell in love with in previous books and I can’t wait for more from these rookies I hope Bianca Sommerland is going to give us more from the Dartmouth Cobras.

The Cobra guy are at it again!
Fyi: This was a challenging review for me to do because it was cute and I didn't want to give anything away!

POSSIBLE SPOILERS

It's mid-summer and things are as crazy as ever for the Cobra guys with a prank war in full force but when Hunt, Ladd and Richards get dosed with rose powder, making them extremely itchy in front of the media plus local teens causing them to strip off their shirts. Things are out of control but hopefully this will be the last of it...right?
Scott has decided to help Becky out at a photo shoot with a couple of guys from the team because he needs to bond with some of the guys better and also make it up to Becky.
The guys need to work together before the start of the season....but it might take something unorthodox to pull the guys together.

**This was very difficult to write but super awesome to read!🏒**

It seems like forever since I’ve touched base with my beloved Dartmouth Cobras, and I loved it. It felt really great to see how some of them were doing. This was a really quick peak into the lives of the Trouble Triplets and the three newer Cobras who seem to be trying very hard to take over that nickname for the future. Things are a little tense between the two groups. Can they work things out before it gets too far out of hand?

As usual, I am eagerly awaiting the next book in one of my very favorite series (though with mixed feelings knowing the end is coming).

Loved it! This is a short read, well for this author it is anyway. The Trouble Triplets and pranks combined with heat and punishment, what more could we ask for right? The new pranksters are giving the triplets a run for their money, but it goes a little too far. There are consequences for their actions that none of them see coming and to set things right with the team, punishments at the club are demanded. I love how relationships are pushed and new ones formed in this book. i cannot wait for more!

OMG, I didn't want this book to end. I absolutely love this series and devour every book that gets released.
This one is a short one and features the Trouble Triplets and three of the rookies.
Oh, boy. These boys can get into some trouble, but they are so lovable you forgive them very quickly. And once these boys find love, they love wholeheartedly.
I can't wait to read more of the Cobras. I want to see what happens with the rookies, not to mention the rest of the team.

This Cobra novella is a short story about some of the beloved Cobra players and the new rookies on the team. Recent hijinks between the players goes a little too far and someone must take responsibility… and the punishment. Hot and steamy just like expected from Bianca Sommerland. This quick read gives a nice check in on some of the favorite Cobras while introducing some new players that will hopefully show up in future books.

Such a great novella! It is no wonder why Bianca Sommerland is one of my favorite authors. She can give you a novella where you can visit some of your favorite characters; get to know better some of the new Cobras; and setting the stage for stories to come. I loved every minute of the storyline.

Excellent

Bianca has done it again. Even though it is a novella it delves into The Trouble Triplets and some rookies and pranking each other. Scott showed how much he has grown since we first met him. I'm looking forward to her next release. New romances are on the horizon and I can't wait.

What was this book about?

I felt like this book was a filler to keep us busy between book, it really weren't about anything and then when I get to the next book it suggests I read this filler, I doubt if there was a reason for me to do so, waste of money, and I cant afford to waste money!!

This series is amazing

Bianca Sommerland is one of my top two favorite BDSM authors and my absolute favorite hockey author. Put the two together and I'm as happy as a pig in s#%+. These characters are so deep, their relationships with each other so complex, I can't put vthe books down. Ms. Sommerland pulls emotions from me while reading her stories and I LOVE that.

This is a great story to catch up on a few of the Cobras. The “Trouble Triplets” and the Rookies make for a very entertaining read and also leave some anticipation for the next Cobra book. Loved this Novella.

Great story

Great story about everyones favorite Troublemakers with 3 new troublemakers. Pranks and misunderstandings ensue in the latest Dartmouth Cobras book. Add in a little unexpected twist (that hopefully is a hint at a future story) and you are on for a fun read.

Mmmmm

Not sure what this book was to give us. I got lost with the switch of the names sometimes its the first name sometimes its the last name. I have read all of the books and that is always one of the main issues I have. I need to keep a cheat sheet with the names.

Slow and not sure needed as a stand alone.

This story could've been shrunk and added to the next book. Is this a start to a spin off? If so great but needs more......

When Bianca Sommerland announced her was writing a novella for my favorite hockey team, the Dartmouth Cobras, I was beyond excited. It has been a while since I paid a visit to these guys and this gave me the perfect reason to.

Fan favorite, The Trouble Triplets is still causing mayhem, this time it is focused on the rookies of the team. A few pranks that goes too far, and suddenly there are consequences that must be dealt with.

This is a quick summer read for all the fans of my beloved Cobras. Not only are we shown the growth of some of our favorite players. We also meet and fall in love with the newest generation of Trouble Triplets. There is no doubt in my mind that this was what the rookies were hoping for. They need the guys to pass the torch and let the new guys take over. Especially Scott Demyan shows how much he has grown the responsibilities of having a family, that comes first.

This story also leads up to the what I know to be the final two installments of this series. The fact that we got a little more insights to the rookies made this story even better. This quick read is worth nothing less than 5 stars.

A Good Read

The Trouble Triplets, Scott Demyan, Luke Carter and Tyler Vanek. The three who got into trouble all the time, they have matured and don't get into too much trouble anymore except for playing prank wars with the three youngest players on the team, Dave Hunt, Braxton Richards and Heath Ladd. It seemed like they were trying out for the title of the Trouble Triplets now. It was really nice to see some of the old characters again, I have missed them. There wasn't a lot of team action, this was over the summer months. It was a good read.

Here hold my beer… how many pranks is too many? When one summertime prank goes over the line the team isn’t the only one getting hurt.
When you use bad judgement punishment follows. Scott isn’t a submissive but he takes his punishment and he is going to remember it for a long time.
I really enjoyed exploring this side of the Trouble Triplets. As with the others in this series this book is so hot you would think the ice would melt.
