Autumn Love is book six in the Love Collection series by Natalie Ann. This is my first book by this author and it can be read as a complete stand alone.
Liam Sullivan is thirty two years old. He started out as a contractor but his business ventures have grown so much that he now just pretty much oversees his projects. One of Liam’s most treasured childhood memories was spending time at the orchard in Lake George. So when he saw that the farm and surrounding property were falling into disrepair, he offered the owner a fair price and an agreement was made. Little did he know that the woman he literally bumped in to the other day and the woman whose face hasn’t left his thoughts ever since is the daughter of the owner.
Ali Rogers is a fourth grade school teacher. After her grandfather passed away, the farm she was raised on went to her mother. Ali had no idea how much of a burden taking care of the farm was on her mom. Until she told Ali that she just made a deal to sell. When Ali realized that the person buying her beloved farm and orchard was no other than the man she just met and was attracted to, she is devastated. There is no way she can date the man buying her childhood home. Can she?
At the same time, both Liam and Ali start having night time visits from her grandfather, making them both question their sanity.
This was a cute fall/Halloween story. It’s fairly short so you can easily read it in a day. I never could warm up to Ali for some reason. She seemed pretty oblivious to how others were feeling around her, thinking mostly of herself. But, when she became aware of what was happening, I liked that she admitted to the fact. Even with that, though, I enjoyed the story and it had a super sweet ending.

This was a great story of family and finding new love. Ali grew up in the farm, she is a teacher now and her mom is planning on selling. Liam is looking at buying the farm. But they keep having meet cutes. Can find love with each other.
Ali and Liam’s story was such fun to read. I liked that they actually met, by accident, before either knew who the other person was. That set aside the pesky suspicion of meeting on purpose right from the start for them and for the reader. The attraction was there from that first run-in and easily built throughout the story.
It’s not easy knowing that a farm, a home, a business that has been in the family for generations is changing hands. Ali’s initial response was completely believable, yet I also enjoyed seeing her do some serious thinking and coming to the conclusion that she did. At times Ali’s emotional responses are all over the place, and she does make some relationship mistakes. Yet she also will say when she’s messed up, it might take a little time, but she does.
Liam is simply an all around good guy. He’s a very successful businessman, his love for his mother is evident without being overpowering and his concern for the people behind the business he is about to buy is also obvious. I really liked seeing a character get mad, and give that warning of “if you do this it’s going to hurt me and I will react” kind of dialogue. It’s not done often in fiction or real life, but I liked a man who was secure enough in himself and the relationship he’s building to say “hey that hurts” or “I’m getting mad here”. No slamming doors or stomping out to hit the bar – just telling it like it is. I can respect and even admire a man like that.
I loved Ali’s grandfather. He is such a protective man, even in the afterlife. You’ll enjoy his interactions with this couple as well.
In all, I had a good time, enjoyed the characters and the story. And will definitely be picking up more from this Love Collection of stories.
Growing up she wanted the orchard, her love especially for the Apple trees. When her grandfather died, and seeing the toll on her mother, she chose teaching. Having the summer off to help when they were the busiest The news of her mother selling she had to accept. Seeing who the new owner was, having already bumped into him a couple of time. Beautiful story of how a love for the orchard brought them together,
A light read for a rainy afternoon. Ali’s legacy is being sold, she’s sad but in her heart she knows that she could never keep it going. Does it make it worse or better that she is falling for the purchaser? And why does her dead grandfather insist on having conversations with her in the middle of the night? A straightforward romance with little angst.
Ali doesn't want to lose her family legacy, but her mother can't handle the apple orchard on her own anymore after her father died and left it to her. Liam has fond memories of the orchard from when he'd moved to the area as a kid. When the opportunity arose he made an offer to buy. The last thing he thought would happen was that he'd fall in love with the owner's daughter. Such a sweet story.
All loved the farm she grew up on.She loved it so much, she got so.angry when her mother admitted she could no lo get handle it all by herself and was going to sell it. In comes Liam into her life, right before she go eds out He is the buyer..Will All trust love and the crazy night time visits from her departed Gandpa?
So this one was of the love collection books that I wasn't looking as forward to based upon the description. I saved it till last but I definitely enjoyed it. I loved Liam and Ali, as well as grandpa. The ghost part was what made me hestiate on it but that was a cool part. Definitely recommend reading.
Ali is upset when her mother decides to sell the family farm, but little did she know the new owner was going to everything she'd been hoping for. Liam is the perfect guy. Kind, sweet, considerate. He's buying the farm so he can give his mom a bakery. Another great story from the Love Collection!
A beautiful love story between finding love and holding onto old memories. Throw in a meddling ghost and you've got the making of the perfect Fall read.
This was a sweet short read about a girl who is losing her family's legacy only to find a new path and purpose in life with a sprinkle of supernatural.
This was so cute but left me wanting so much more. These love stories tug and your heart strings and make you feel all good inside like you have just watched every Hallmark movie in one. I loved Ally and Liams story....I just wanted more....this was the story I didn’t know I needed.
