Nicholas Gregory Mankiw is an American macroeconomist who is currently the Robert M. Beren Professor of Economics at Harvard University. Mankiw is best known in academia for his work on New Keynesian economics. Mankiw has written widely on economics and economic policy. This is the first textbook about Economics I had completed. As a foreigner, I feel it is easy to read and understand, moreover I really enjoyed in reading this book. I strongly recommended it for whom they feel Economics is boring and difficult.
Brief enough to review for a lightweight test (CLEP), comprehensive enough for someone with little background. Personally, I like a little calculus with my introductory science survey textbooks, but you can't have everything you want.
