"To feel the true dynamic range of my desires to follow my own path, based on my own emotions without being limited, without being afraid of judgment, without being obliged to follow someone, or to take the responsibility of leading a path."
Acceptance is the first book of The Tranquility series. The author travels across the Indian peninsula on a familiar route, to find an elusive inner peace after a broken engagement, but instead, finds that peace and contentment isn't a medal or a trophy, but a journey.
The book is written really well. However, I couldn't really resonate with the ideas presented. I felt like the author was a grumpy adult who felt bitter about his life and the people around him. Even though its good to express emotions, I believe emotions often got the best of him in many situations.
Definitely, an interesting read and any reader will take something away from the book.
