From New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author R.G. Alexander, Book 9 of the Finn Factor Series It all started with a dare. And a wedding. Liquor was involved… William Finn and Bronte Wayne have nothing in common—unless you count their families, which seem more entwined every day. Oh, and that pesky little issue of them being married. Bronte is the responsible sister. The plain Wayne. Though her biological clock is not so much ticking as counting down, she’s not the type to get married on a whim. At least, not to an Irish brawler who takes nothing seriously—and is seventeen years her junior. His American cousins may think William took advantage of Bronte, but nothing could be farther from the truth. From the moment they met, the curvy charge nurse made him want to fight for a future and family of his own—with her. But his past and her doubts keep getting in the way. The Finn, Wayne and Collins clans have matchmakers and meddlers to spare, but in the end it’ll be up to Bronte to do the responsible thing—the mature thing. Or take a chance and risk her heart on one wild Finn.

I love that William and Brontë ended up together. However, even with his past being revealed bit by bit, the story just feels a bit forced and worn out. The most shocking thing, their out-of-the-blue wedding happened in the previous book.
And let's face it, we all knew how it's going to end.
This was not a standalone book. I enjoyed the story but I was at a disadvantage because characters from past stories made appearances and it was difficult to keep track of all of them. I'm typically NOT a fan of May/December romances no matter what the pairing OM/YW or OW/YM but I am a fan of romance. This was a sweet story with lots of heat.
Definitely not my favorite in this series - some of the tropes are my least favorite but I don't want to say too much and give the plot away. I just didn't feel the connection between these two - or at least not the "love" connection. It seemed to pull plot aspects that we've already seen in this series. I didn't hate it but it was just meh for me.
4.5 'I very rarely read MF these days but I have been looking forward to William and Bronte's book since the previous one. Their chemistry was off the charts. That awesome I hate you but I wanna fuck you vibe was palpable and this did not disappoint. The story was engaging, their relationship was both sweet and insanely hot' stars.
***** What a great 5 Star story !***** Will Finn's woeful past, his fast talking tongue and his future hopes are show here. We remember him as the scewed up guy in Lawless #8. Will, 25, with his amazing blue eyes and dark hair, is in love with beautiful, fiesty, brown skinned Bronte, 41, Hugo's sister, the nurse. They ran off on a drunken trip and married at Niagra Falls, but he wants to keep her, to stay married, so he'll have to step up his game and convince her.
She tells him her deepest darkest secret, that her family doesn't even know about, and Will begins showing Bronte himself, his truths and does so a bit at a time. He feels that he doesn't deserve her, but he will change, he has to. They spark and sizzle when they are together, and neither has felt the deepness they get when the sexy times overtake them. Will is totally hot in his attention to her needs.
They have gone about things backwards, but they'll catch up. The families are in the dark, or so they think, and Will has a bad reputation preceeding him.
We get sass, smirks and secrecy. Will puts on a full court predd to win Bronte, but she's leery. She hasn't had sex in 21 years, and Will is the first man that interests her, but the age gap is there. She worries he'll wake up one day and want someone young, but he knows his own mind. He just keeps trying to convince her. So, when trouble comes, they have to figure out how this will work.
A marvelous romance for strong Bronte and a loving, deserving, Will. ENJOY !
I admit I am a total Finn Series fan. So much so I switched from my usual MM preference to read One Wild Finn, an MF story. It was so good. I think I loved it because Bronte is a strong independent woman and William respects that. I loved that RG Alexander made he the older of the two showing that older women are still sexy and captivating. For reasons of his own William has let his family believe he tricked Bronte into marriage. When he took the opportunity to be with the woman that made his world complete. There is a lot going on in William’s life and the choices he makes are not always the wisest. I do love the way that even the bad boys in the Finn world have a lot of redeeming qualities, so much so you just can’t help but love them. The personal scenes between them are hot hot hot and beautifully written. This book, like all the others, pulled me in and I didn’t want to leave them at the end of the story. I was given a book in exchange for an honest review Review also available at http://openskyebookreviews.com
Every time I read one of these books, it makes me want to go start reading the series again.
From the last book, I didn't know what to think of William, one among the flurry of imported relatives causing havoc, but as usual the answers are rather harrowing, and terribly sweet. Bronte is one of the coolest heroines I've read, self-assured yet vulnerable to William. (If you've read #8, you know this.)
I always kinda liked William and I was looking forward to reading his and Bronte's story. This ended up feeling a bit placeholder-y to me though and didn't drag me in as much as I would have liked. I was mostly entertained by William and his persistence than the actual story itself.
I'm such a Finn Factor fanatic and a huge fan of R.G. Alexander's writing. I devour her books!! One Wild Finn was a sizzling read no doubt, yet sweet, snarky and beautifully written like all of the Finn Factor books. Loved Bronte and William's story!!
Oh my hell that was hot! William definitely has a wicked silver tongue. Loved Bronte finally letting go and accepting all he had to offer and seeing herself as he did. He fought hard to prove himself even from afar. I fell in love with both these characters and their strength.
One click. Get it now. Hurry. You will not be disappointed with this book. If you're considering starting the series do that too. All the books are great, this one is no different. Fantastic read I wish I had a leprechaun so freaking bad. Goodness. Hot hot hot.
I'm so glad I picked up the Finn Series where I left it up. I am in love with all my Finns and William is not a miss. Bronte is this tough, independent woman that never took any risks in her life, at least until she met William, one of the irish Finns. They have an age gap but that doesn't stop them from feeling attracted to each other, and they even got married out of a dare. But William has been patient to Bronte and let her fall in love with him as a slow burn. Which I find it great, because we get to read hot sex scenes and I cannot tell you how much I love they way the interact.
I cannot get enough of my Finns, and I'm still waiting for Ken and Brady's wedding. I almost scream when they mentioned Bellamy and Seamus, since they're one of my favorite couples too.
What can I tell you that you don't know already? I love The Finns and the Waynes with all my heart.
I'm going to die SO happy! R.G. Alexander is going to kill me. My heart is going to leap out of my chest and land at her feet in a messy but moving tribute to the Finns. Especially my latest book-crush, William. Oh. Em. Geeeee... WILLIAM. *combusts* We met William and Bronte in the previous installment of the Finn family (Lawless) about William's hot American cousin, the police chief. They were flirting heavily in the background as Chief Solomon "Younger" Finn and Hugo Wayne (Bronte's brother) FINALLY got their happily ever after. William is a down and dirty bare-knuckles boxer and all-around bad-boy bruiser. Bronte is over a decade his senior, a medical professional, and buttoned up to the point of being Victorian. (If you listen very closely, you can hear William panting at the idea of his deliciously curvy woman in a corset.) He wears her down with adorably sweet gifts, texts, and the occasional sexy pic. When she comes to deliver a message to him, the desire-o-meter pegs so hard, springs fly out the back and they Burn It Up. Like, I am waiting for my phone to turned bright red and flames to start curling out of its iHole just from containing this story! It's Finntastic. Five million stars. You need this Finnomenal, smoking hot M/F romance in your life and on your device right freaking now. I gotta go. I need to re-read this one. For science or something. Chemistry. Heh.
Perfect level of heat, mystery and yes romance. What a Lucky Leprechaun
I am so happy we got to William and Bronte's story... I mean first it's rare that an author can give me a book that is so well written that I can actually picture the characters, not only physical Wil!I am being a white Irish as in from Ireland lad and Bronte a Beaufort with dark skin. But also we get their personality which makes this novella come to life. You don't have to have read any books in the Finn Factor Series to do follow along on this journey that Author R.G.Alexander has been so gracious to invite us on. Visit with some of our favorite Finn and Wayne's and not-Wayne's while you are there and let me just say this... Thank you so much for or making St Paddy's week fun. What a great read. Perfect amount of heat, some mystery, and of course little bit of teasing for upcoming books. Can't wait.
I've read a few of RG Alexander books now, and this one is just as funny as the others! That classic, keep 'em rolling, comedic style that is so prominent in the other books hooked me from the beginning of this novella!
William is an Irish transplant with a checkered past. Bronte is a considerably older woman, who married William on a drunken dare. They are living apart due to some misconceptions, and a few strong arm tactics from family members! When William's past resurfaces, Bronte surprises him with a visit, and things get steamy!
The blending of The Finn Factor series with Mari Carr's Wild Irish world is so seamless, I wouldn't have known they were different series! I totally and completely enjoyed this story, and was kept laughing from beginning to end. A humorous story of love and family, I'd recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick laugh!
This book is everything I knew it would be and more. I've been dying for William and Bronte's story since the end of Hugo & Younger's book. The age difference between Bronte (older woman) and William (younger man) is perfect and just what I've been needing to see in a book recently. William is so loving and dedicated to Bronte even though she is determined to keep him at a distance. The heat factor is off the charts between these two when things get cooking.
The Finn and Wayne families fit so perfectly together. Nothing better than 2 large families who will do anything and everything for the people they love.
RG made me laugh, cry, and angry all in the span of a few pages and that is the set up for the perfect book. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS ONE!!
To say I love the Finn family is an understatement! Adding the Finn's the the Wild Irish world of Mari Carr and you have an explosion of Irish heat and fun. Throw in Bronte Wayne (who has been a woman after my heart since the day I "met" her) and you have more heat than you know what to do with. William Finn comes off as a brash, brawler who was banished by his own family because they think he took advantage of Bronte. But this story tells us that William is way more than the guy we've previously met. He has heart, so much heart and family is at the core of everything for him. Having the Finns, Waynes, and Collins get together to protect both him and Bronte was wonderful and I am so very much looking forward to more Finn love...in all of it's configurations!
No cliffhanger Standalone though part of a larger series Told from both POVs Minor editing issues
This series is one of my favorites and this novella was just the thing I needed to tide me over until the next book comes out.
This author does an amazing job of developing so many different characters that you immediately fall in love with. This book is funny and steamy and filled with a ton of love and just the right amount of drama to keep things interesting.
The banter between Bronte and William is great too. She isn’t letting him get away with anything and he isn’t letting her push him away.
Loved this book. Made me want to reread the whole series.
"Happiness quite insisted can scarcely be called happiness; it has no taste." Charlotte Bronte
One Wild Finn , give us the story of Bronte Wayne -Hugo's sister and William Finn -The Finn cousin Seamus and Bellamy met in Ireland. I enjoyed reading this book it's filled with Jane Eyre quotes and the going on of my favorite Irish -American family. As always, this author brings current and real life sensitive topics into her books and it's treatment it's respectful and to the point.
I did not know what to expect in this story. I have only read the mm books and for the most part enjoyed this family. So with this new IR theme I was not sure but how wrong I was about her skills. This was sweet and sexy and I loved Bronte and Billy’s journey. I was happy to see more of the Finns with a different twist. Families are unique and different and I was glad to have been able to catch a glimpse of their world. Makes me excited for the next installment.
When I think I can't love another Finn more, R.G. proves me wrong. I've been wanting to read this story since Younger's book and it didn't desapoint! Bronte and William where hot together and I loved how they seem to be different with each other then they were with their family. They felt safe together. Bronte was a strong woman, and I always love strong womans, and who can not love a bad boy with a heart of gold? I really liked that William had more layers than previously shown and deserved his nightingale. Now I can't wait to read James' book. I hope it's the next one!!
Bronte and William man you guys are making it hard to keep favorites in this family. So I am going to wuss out choose you all. This couple fought for each other and they will show how much they love each other. It is a must read. Will I re-read? Absolutely. Do I recommend? Most definitely. Enjoy the series and this story.
As this has been released on kindle worlds I am unable to read the book as it is only available in the US. I am gutted and I was so looking forward to this one!
I have read all of the Finn Factor books, as well as pre-ordering the most recent few, and now it looks like this is the end of the road for me with this series!
I hate when books end up on a limited release! Why would you do that?!
One Wild Finn by the outstanding and incredibly talented author R.G. Alexander is the next book in The Finn Factor Series. One Wild Finn is part of Mari Carr´s Wild Irish Kindle Worlds and fits right in.
One Wild Finn picks up where the previous book, Lawless - Hugo and Younger´s story - left off. Bronte Wayne is the responsible sister. She´s a bit plain, down to earth and knows what she wants. And that isn´t a Irish brawler 17 years her junior. William Finn is one of the Irish Finns, he´s trouble in a fine packet. When he meets Bronte he knows she´s his one, but his American cousins think he took advantage of her. What they don´t know is he´s a goner, hook, line and sinker. He would do everything to keep her as his wife and live a HEA, including get banished to Baltimore. He´s a mysterious man with with many layers. He´s the responsible older brother who raised his siblings, he´s the reckless 24 year old with a old soul, he´s the fistfighter who doesn´t give a thing what his family thinks of him and he´s the devoted lover who would do everything for his Bronte, his one.
I´m a bit obsessed with the Finn family and their world and every time a new book releases I can´t wait to get my hands on it. I started reading and was immediatedly sucked deep into the Wayne/ Finn world again. I can´t say how much I love their stories. The writing is excellent and I connected very easily with the characters. One Wild Finn is a witty and fun read with scorching hot, nsfw scenes. I love this fast paced novella and wish I could give more than 5 stars.
80% in the book and it wasn't yet revealed what he has done in Ireland. Was the author trying for suspense? Or just making 100% sure that we pluck our eyes out?
Instalove isn't my thing. Although I know it happens in real life. In books it's too fleeting as not enough time to build up.
I didnt feel the connection. It was all surreal. The money being sent back to Ireland as donation. Ken saving the day yet again. The whole Finn clan coming to Baltimore, didnt see any need for Tasha to come with Brady and the rest? Also James was inserted there very weirdly. Only to tell him to pass on a message to Younger that he needs his space to find Alex? Who the f**k is Alex?
All in all. Boring. Same plot sequence with breaking up twice to go with the latest trend since once is so 80s.
Having an intervention to convince them to go back.
Doing a grand gesture this time buying him a gym.
Having make up sex and ah yes she conceived and kept the baby a secret. Didnt we already have a similar story like this? Sister-cousin much.
Nearing the end of this series & thanking God of that. No one is slapping me on my hand to read them but I just can't stop if I start a series. Gotta have them all.
Rory's too bad isn't coming up. Seems it's being stopped by the authorities. Red tapped forgot the English word. Ah censored. I live in a censorship country where they are very fond of themselves when they forbid sinners. Feel like they would be kicked into heaven for doing good.
The Finn Factor #9 William Finn, the oldest of the Finn's that recently migrated from Ireland, has always been One Wild Finn… Enjoy!

* I was gifted this book from the author and freely give my review* I love this book so much that I also bought it.......... because young man who falls in love with a women some years older than him 😍
What I liked: * Obviously the age difference..... * Good storyline * Great characters with their own insecurities and flaws that makes them all the more realistic * The connection between Bronte and William is intense and their chemistry is sizzling * No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings * A good amount of dialogues * Secondary characters that made me curious, I’ve not read Wild Irish series but no I have to read this series. * Love scenes.......hot, hot, hot!
Even though this is part of a series it CAN be read as a standalone BUT I recommend you read the rest of this series because it’s amazing.
5 golden stars 🌟Happy reading if you choose to read because of my review 📚
OMG!!! Bronte Wayne is a spitfire ER Nurse. And Hugo Wayne is her brother. That makes William Finn the cousin of Younger. We first met these two in The Finn Factor Series Book LAWLESS. When Bronte and William first met, a fuse was lit to the keg of emotion to follow. This is a novella but there is a complete and utterly fantastic story being told even if you've never heard of a Finn Factor before. This is a story about a feisty, passionate woman who never took chances. About an Irishman who had to grow up too fast, taking nothing but every chance he could get. Once the fuse between them starts to count down, the insta-wet moments will have you bringing out the back up fans. This is a FANTASTIC story with amazing characters. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!
I think that RG Alexander is one of my favorite authors on the planet. Some of her books I’ve read more times that I can count. Her writing is funny...warm...funny...interesting...funny... and just damn talented. We’re always going to have gaps, though. Why? Somewhere along the way she started writing interracial.
I need my stories to have lots of hotness in them. Give me aliens, m/m, m/f/m, m/m/f, supernatural, Persian princes who could get back their millions (which they would gladly share with you) if you could only help them out with the money for a few fees they need to finally free up their wealth.
But jungle Fever (Spike Lee Joint) does not do it for me, makes me uncomfortable, etc., etc. Thankfully there are a lot of books in the sea and there’s some for everyone. Happy reading, Everyone!
