Hunter will not find it easy to yield to the fantasies he’s had for years. Luckily, his Daddy will not let him run away or hide from his desires.

Hunter Stevens may be a law-abiding business owner, but his tattooed appearance and motorcycle can give people the wrong impression. When faced with a judgmental police officer, he reacts badly.

Lazzaro Bianchi is a police homicide detective. While filling in for a fellow police officer on patrol, he learns he seriously misjudged the tattoo studio owner and artist. Now this intriguing man needs to accept his apology so he can pursue the Little who the Lazzaro knows is his.

Addiction Warning: Pepper’s stories will touch your heart and may warm your bottom. While both sweet & spicy, the Dr. Richards’ Littles stories may contain more heat than some will find comfortable. Playing doctor with Dr. Richards can be an intense experience that borders on electrifying. The greatest risk, however, is developing an intense craving for more after reading just one. Proceed with caution.

DNF @ 25%

Okay, just NO.

This was my first book by this author, and thus my first in this series. After only 25%, it will be my last of both, as well.

The perspective shifts are all over the place. From one paragraph to another, we're reading Lazzaro's view, Hunter's view, and whatshername at the diner's view. It's very discombobulating, and hard to keep up with.

TL;DR: WAY too much non-con and coercion already at 25% for me to even consider going any further. And Dr Richards? One creepy fucker to stay FAR away from!

I liked the characters

Typical of Pepper's books: warm, mostly lighthearted, lovely people. As always, I wish the story were a little longer. I wanted to know these two men better, to know more about who they were as people, what brought them to know they needed this kind of relationship. In short, a little more show, a little less tell. There were several places where Hunter's Daddy could have communicated better, especially at the beginning. The tension that resulted in their relationship wasn't described very well, which I thought lessened the evolution of the story. Hunter is a successful artist and shop owner. Don't just tell me that he loves his work and, at the same time, wants to set down the responsibility and be taken care of. Show me how those two things fit together, and what he feels as he sorts them out. The feelings are what separates a checklist of new Little activities, or a formula, however fun, from a story.

This sounds more negative than I mean it to. I like what Pepper offers here so much that I want more. She's an experienced author now. I want her to step up to the next level of writing.

What I loved were some of the vignettes: Zoey and Angelina playing " Captain Sock" in Dr. Richard's the waiting room. The descriptions of Hunter's work and interactions with clients. How his Daddy helps him go potty while on a trail ride. What happens when he first sees the nursery.

I want to note two other issues: First, oil and condoms don't mix; oil can break down a condom. Second, Hunter gets outed twice without his permission or any warning. Even though the people already know and are supportive, Hunter doesn't know that. In a series that regularly mentions the negative consequences people in this lifestyle face, that seems sloppy, at best. If these people are so loving and trustworthy, why aren't they more careful about this major trust issue? Beyond momentary panic, why isn't Hunter more emotionally affected? I would see it as a major red flag in a new relationship.

In summary, I liked these characters a lot, and definitely found the book worth reading. However, I would have liked to know them better as individuals, from the inside, rather than just one more inevitable HEA. Not that I don't want an HEA. I totally do.. I just want it created, not assumed.

Hunter: Dr. Richards' Littles #23

Hunter is a tattoo artist and a biker. When he gets pulled over by Lazzaro for speeding their first meeting doesn't go so well.

Lazzaro is a Daddy who has been looking for his Little Boy for a long time and when he discovers he misjudged the tattooed biker he wonders if maybe he found him. Hunter owns his own tattoo shop and has been on his own for a long time. He finds due to his appearance he is often misjudged. When Lazzaro takes Hunter out for breakfast to apologize they both might just discover what they've been looking for.

I saw this and thought the idea was one I hadn't read before so I was curious. I really enjoyed the first 1/3 of it. The rest wasn't bad by any means, just not as intriguing. I felt the story moved too fast especially with Hunter discovering he was a Little and it wasn't as in depth emotion wise as it could have been. Regardless... I loved the story of Hunter and Lazzaro.

Talented tattoo shop owner Hunter Stevens can give people the wrong impression with his tattooed body and his motorbike, and so when he faces a judgemental police officer he reacts badly. Homicide detective Lazzaro Bianchi is filling in for a fellow police officer on patrol when he seriously misjudges Hunter. Now he needs Hunter to accept his apology so he can pursue him as a Little because Lazzaro knows he is his - he just needs him to yield to his fantasies.

I really liked this story with the two strong men coming together and building a strong relationship as Little and his Daddy. I loved the link to the Sanctum series as Lazzaro taught Hunter that he could have joy in his life letting his Daddy take care of him. Easy to read and understand, I loved the world that was described and brought to life in this book. Contains mature content in this MM story with a DDLB relationship.

I’m not usually one to gush over MM books, but I really really enjoyed Hunter and Lazzaro’s story. They have great chemistry, Lazzaro is the perfect Daddy who really listens to his Little boy, Hunter and when Hunter expresses his concerns, his new Daddy is very happy to talk it through. Hunter is such a sweet Little boy who lives with his entire heart. He is almost devastated when his Daddy gets severely injured on his job and they both realize they don’t want to live without one another and that their love for one another runs very deep. I’d give this more than 5 stars if I could! Always a pleasure to read any book Pepper North writes, but this one was so sweet and loving that at times it brought me to tears!

I actually like it

As with this author consent is at Daddy’s discretion. That can be hard to take but it comes with the territory for this author. She’s improved from her early books. Word choice is better, as is story flow. Clearly the goal is to pump out books, so don’t expect character debt, much in the way of plot, or realistically developed romance—this is definitely instalove. I’m still squiggled out by creepy Dr. Richards, and see him as a smiling sexual predator, but again, he’s the common character in this series so you have to put up with him. This is a guilty please read with no redeeming value but as long as you know that, it’s ok.

This was a hot, short, steamy read! When Lazzaro's meets Hunter, he just knew that he was a Little, but he also knew that Hunter was unsure. Lazzaro has been searching for his perfect Little boy for so long and wants to show Hunter that they can be so good together. The story takes you on Hunter's journey to understanding that maybe it is okay to be a Little. Can Lazzaro show him the way? I really enjoyed these two characters. Lazzaro is definitely dominant and I loved how he showed Hunter that a relationship could work between them. I'm a lover of this series and this is one of my favorites!

The Traffic stop

Detective Lazzaro was filling in for a fellow officer who was a patrol officer and all because of fate with a routine traffic stop he met Hunter. Lazzaro was kind of a jerk because Hunter was on a bike & covered with tattoos, he was not aware that this young man was owner & Tattoo artist of the shop that was broken into not a potential thief. Lexmark went to Hunters shop the next day to apologise to Hunter & to invite him out to breakfast so they can get to know one another; because Lazzaro has a strong feeling Hunter is his little.

Hmm... Hunter is a tattooed biker who is stopped by cop Lazzano and we have a confrontation...
Silly amount of insta-lust/love where Lazzano goes to apologise to Hunter but recognises the little in him.
Usual DaddyDom/littleboy interactions, even though Hunter is frightened (!!) at the prospect of wearing a diaper - just because Lazzano may want it.
I (wrongly) supposed that with a male pairing the Daddy-little relationship may be good (or just a little bit better than the Mf ones), but - wrong.
Sad; it could have been better

A cute age-play exploration

This is another book in the long-standing series.
Hunter has cared for himself for a long while, but part of him longs to be cared for, but when Lazzaro offers to care for him, Hunter has to decide whether to accept, I would have liked a bit more development in finding the right age and meshing their lives together, but the book was both sweet and hot in places.

I liked the book but it seemed to have very little D/l and more M/M. Everyone thinks Hunter is a little and during the story, he does get a stuffy but we see very little of Hunter's exploration of being a little. Hunter does spend a lot of time worrying that Lazzaro is going to put him in diapers and deciding whether he wants to be a little or not. Lazzaro does his best to sooth all of Hunters fears and there is some caring on his part.

Gentle introduction to the MM Little life style.

I enjoyed reading this story. I haven't read a 'Daddy / little boy' story before so I wasn't too sure about trying it but it was on sale so I thought what the heck, I've liked other books by this author.

Low and behold, I liked it just as much as the 'Daddy / little girl' dinamic of Pepper's other books I've read. Now I'm off to read Grace's story. 🌟

Hunter The Hunk Wins

Lazzaro is a homicide detective who pulled Hunter over for going 5 miles over the speed limit. He is convinced that Hunter is a Little. He invited Hunter for lunch to talk to him and see if being a Little is something he would be interested in. Both men came across as very attractive and I enjoyed reading this story.

Another beautiful story

I love all these little stories and they seem to get better and better with every one I read. I have come to love the big bad boy image that turns out to be a little. It shows that anyone can be anything.

Hunter sounds like the type of tattoo artist that I want to do my tats.

Until Next Time... Tabi

Another great Little story. Hunter is a tattoo artist and rides a motorcycle and is pulled over for speeding. The officer Lazzaro is sure Hunter is his Little boy he has been looking for. The rest of the story is wonderful. You will have to read the the book to see how they finally get together. Enjoy

DNF

There was little lead up. The "dominant " MC was basically a steamroller with the other MC takingfar too many liberties right off the bat. Honestly this seems contrived and like the author tried to write it in a day. I read a good deal of DD/lb and this was disappointing. Not likely to read this author again.

Biker Boy

I'm very new to MM romance (this is my 2nd) and this is my first MM ageplay romance, there is nobody I'd trust more to dip my toe in besides Pepper and her books!

This was very well written and kept me wanting to see them to their HEA.

I loved that we saw the other Dr. Richards' Littles and some of the characters from SANCTUM!

Hunter

I DNF’d at 30%. I couldn’t take it. The daddy dom seemed to just hand out punishments without having any conversation about rules or safe words beforehand. There didn’t seem to be any talk about safe, sane and consensual. Maybe there was eventually but I’m not willing to read any more of it. Wasn’t for me.

Hunter and Larazzo.. Larazzo is filling in for a police officer when he first meets hunter. And let me tell you that they both needed a hard hand! But Hunter was a bit rebellious and so kind at the same time. Hunter was scared to be a little and didn’t know how to navigate this relationship, but larazzo took it full speed and held onto his little!

Biker Boy

Hunter looks like a bad boy with his tattoo motorcycle self. He gets stopped by Lazzaro. And it starts the connection between them. They discover they have things in common. Will Hunter be able to give himself entirely to Lazzaro? Very nice story

I loved this one. Its very well written. I love this author and all of her series. Her male/male stories are lovely. There is lots of real age-play as Hunter and Lazzaro unite their lives. I enjoyed all their interactions. I very highly recommend this book. Sweet, sexy hot male/male age play.

Not a great read for me

I am not sure if I have read too many of these in a row but this was not such a good read. Could not get into the characters at all which is very unusual for me.

I loved Hunter and the way he first meets Lazzaro is great. Lazzaro knew what he wanted from the beginning and he helped Hunter get there. Hunter wanted to be with him so much and I'm glad he let himself be happy. They were fun to read about.

Looks are deceiving.

This book proves that the way someone looks can be very, very deceiving. Hunter is definitely biker boi, but he is also a Little that is quickly recognized by Lazzarro. Like Lazzarto said, the best traffic stop ever made.
