Holy hot cowboys!! I swear these sexy cowboys get better every time! I loved Pushin’ Buttons and Body Language, and was excited for Jack and Paul to get a story. And man, was it ever good. And hot. And dirty. And good. <<-- But I said that already, didn’t I?
Jack has lusted after his best friend, and fellow sex therapist-slash-cowboy, Paul, for a very long time. But his friendship with the man who’s never really been open to being with other men was too important to risk…until now.
Maybe it’s his newly minted status as a Boot Knocker, or maybe it’s just good timing, but Paul finally seems open to Jack’s subtle, but persistent, advances. All he needs is a final push.
When Lissy Lofton arrives at the ranch for some lovin’ and some healin’, both Jack and Paul are taken with the lovely lady. And her appetite for sex – once unlocked – is insatiable. It’s going to take both men to satisfy her....and bring the two men together once and for all.
Reining Men was one of those book I couldn’t put down, didn’t want to end and couldn’t (and can’t) stop thinking about. It’s about more than just the (sizzling) sex though – although the sex is definitely appealing – because this story was also one of learning who you are and accepting it.
I loved seeing Paul struggle with his attraction to Jack. I appreciated that Jack valued his friendship enough to hold back, even when it killed him to do so. And I loved strong-but-in-need-of-sexual-healing Lissy. In short, there wasn’t a thing about Reining Men that I didn’t love.
Once again, Em Petrova has proven that no-one writes ménage cowboy love stories quite like she does – and I am already counting the days until I can read about the next Boot Knocker!

I like a lot of things about this book. The characters, the dialog, the premise, the writing. I'd recommend it and I'll probably read more in the series. Have said that, here's what I didn't like or would change,,,

Take a beautiful athletic Lissy that knows what she wants and put her in reach of a cowboy sexgod Jack and see the fireworks explode add in another hot cowboy Paul and watch the flames slow burn before the fireworks! !!! Jack made her happy by his self with his easy smile , carefree attitude and commaning presence. Paul drew her because he was softer but still commanding. This is a must read!

'Reining Men' (Boot Knockers Ranch Book 3) by Em Petrova is a smoking hot read. This book can be read alone even though it's part of a series. I loved this story! After reading about Lissy, Jack and Paul I'm anxious to go back and read the other books in this series. This story is full of passion and hot cowboys. Em has written yet another amazing story. Highly recommend to all fans of super hot romance and cowboys.

Lissy Lofton has been so busy with her pro sport career she hasn’t had time for relationships so when she decides that it’s time for her to give up her V card what better place than at the Boot Knockers Ranch. From all the glossy photos she picks out 2 cowboys Jack and Paul. Now will one them pick her? In true Boot knocking style Jack buzzes in to win her. Paul would have done the same, but it’s week off and that doesn’t sit well with him. Lately a lot of things don’t sit well with him. Jack his best friend and it’s no secret to anyone on the Ranch that he wants Paul just like it’s no secret that Paul doesn’t swing that way. But lately he’s been thinking and the more he thinks the more aroused he gets. Jack senses something his shifting in his friendship with Paul and also things with Lissy aren’t so client/cowboy. Oh boy he’s in for a wild ride when Lissy reveals she’d only picked 2 cowboys and now she wants them both together and with her. Will Paul join in. So much sexy build up mixed in with the tension of 1st experiences and hot hot sex can open doors. From friends to lovers to a bonded trio it was a fun journey to read.

Love makes it all better
I love this series already! Cannot wait to see what happens next and I know I won't be disappointed.
Paul, Jack and Lissy are amazing characters and their story is unreal as well as sexy as sin. This ménage was an unexpected journey that no one saw coming, especially not the ones involved. Jack has been in love with his best friend for as long as he can remember and keeps pushing his boundaries, but Paul keeps him in line...for the most part. When Lissy shows up on the ranch, all hell breaks loose for these two cowboys. Jack has a sneak peak at the lineup for the week and knew who he wanted, but once Paul sees her, he's wishing it wasn't his week off and he could fight for her. Knowing that jack and Lissy are together makes Paul's life even harder and he's starting to realize his feelings for Jack aren't as simple as he thought. With his emotions in an uproar, he finally agrees to a threesome with these two and things couldn't get hotter. Looks like the Boot Knockers ranch has lost two more cowboys.

This is the third book in this series. While they can be read as standalone I think they are better read in order. This focuses on Jack and Paul and the woman who steels both their hearts. Lissy has come to the ranch for some lovin. She is paired with Jack but Paul wants a chance. This new awakening in Lissy has trying lots of new things. Like maybe a menage. But not with just any third no, she wants Paul. Which works just fine for Jack. After all he has been lusting after Paul for awhile now. Paul has seemed less hesitant lately this could be just the push he needs. I loved this book so much. I love the series. Each one is so hot and steamy. The characters are always great. They have depth and it more than just sex to the story. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. Great job Em.

I liked the dynamic between Jack and Paul. They were friends before they were lovers. Jack did seem a little pushy at times because Paul wasn't interested in men but Jack could see he was softening to him.
Lissy is a woman who just wanted to experience life and were better to do that, but at the Boot Knockers Ranch where she becomes very interested in not one but two cowboys.
It was fun watching the three of them grow in this book. They were all on a path and this book tied it up in a nice way where everyone got a happily ever after.

If M/F/M or M/M/F action offends you, this is definitely not the book for you.
Lissy turned out to be the catalyst that Paul needed in order to break down his walls with Jack. What they ended up finding was family. I wish there would have been a little more information about Paul's family.
Hot steamy scenes, along with an edge of romance as they discover there is more to what they are feeling than a Boot Knickers experience.

I loved this book. This is a well written story with great characters. I am a fan of Em Petrova, I know I will get an awesome story when I see her name on a book. This is a Ménage story so please keep that in mind when you are getting this book. This is the third book in the Boot Knockers Series it is a wickedly good series, I would encourage everyone to get this book and the whole series. This is one worth your time.

This is the third Boot Knockers book I've read and I still want more. Sexy, sensual and stimulating stories of larger-than-life cowboys and the brave women who take then on. If you like MMF (or M-F) stories, I can definitely recommend Em Petrova's Boot Knocker's series. Enjoy!

I have read several of Em Petrova's books and like the others, I could not put this one down. The character development was done in a way that it felt like you would easily know the cowboys from bumping into them in town or local bar. The realism of the issues each character has was perfect. Most of us have had to talk with friends and one's self to justify feelings and relationships.

Not my favourite of the series. Liked Paul and felt he was short changed in the story. Lissie was okay but just okay and felt that the situation between jack and Paul could have resolved earlier. Was okay but just okay.

This was a shortish read at around 190 pages, but very erotic and sensual. It didn’t really have the depth of story I’d like though, maybe if I’d read books one and two I’d have got more from it. Though each book is a stand alone one, clearly they are all connected, and focus on the ranch and characters running it, and I expect the build up of tension between Jack and Paul was started earlier than this book.
I liked all three main characters, they were a good mix and the sex scenes were very hot and well written. Sometimes the potential is there between characters but fizzles out through poor writing, not so here, its builds up nicely and then just explodes off the page with erotic passions letting loose, to get all of them entwined in a way that they needed to keep for good.
Though I enjoyed this read, it wasn’t a high star one for me because although the sex was hot, I just felt that the story backing it was like a short interlude of time, ( in fact its was only a week) and I just couldn’t feel that it was realistic. I’d have liked to know more about the characters to feel empathy with them, but as its a shortish read then of course something needs to go, and they just felt fairly superficial to me. I liked that they got together, but if they hadn’t I wouldn’t have felt really saddened in the way I do when a character really resonates with me. I need to feel there, in the story not just a voyeur onlooking events.If you like short and hot reads then this is for you, for me I need a bit more story and character realism.

Book number 3 of the Boot Knockers Ranch Series was HOT! First you have character that we have meet in the first two books of the series. You have Paul, the new guy. Paul was a ranch hand turned boot knocker. Then you have Jack who is your rugged cowboy and best friends with Paul. Paul is not bi, or so he keeps saying. And then we have Lissy, who comes from California and knows her way around horses. When the new group of ladies arrive at the Ranch Jack has to have Lissy, even before she shows up on stage. It’s Paul’s week off, which is not a good thing for these cowboys. Lissy’s appetite for all things sexy isn’t enough for Jack to satisfy. The problem arises when she asks Jack if Paul would come to their bed. Paul doesn’t want to admit his feeling for his best friend Jack, but he also is super attracted to Lissy. Can this threesome make it work? Can they get past their own prejudices and emotions?
This is book 3 from the series, so we see some of our favorite Boot Knockers. We dive into the ranch and the work these cowboys do outside of the bungalows. This book is fast paced, with great character development and sexual tension. This threesome leaves you wanting more, only in the best possible way.

Lizzy is spending time with Jack who is a sexy man that she can't get enough of. She also catches the eye of Paul who is struggling with his attraction to Jack. When Jack realizes that Lizzy needs more, he asks Paul to join them giving Paul an opportunity to be with the two people he is attracted to. Now Lizzy and Jack were sizzling, but adding Paul to the mix brought it to off the charts scorching hot. I so loved all three of these characters. Jack gave Paul room to come to terms with his feelings. Lizzy was so strong, but gave herself freely to these two cowboys. I loved watching Paul fall in love times two exploring feelings he didn't expect. I absolutely loved their story and can't wait to read the next book in the series. Love those Boot Knockers!

Reining Men was the first story I've read in the BOOT KNOCKERS RANCH series. I definitely will be going back to read the first 2. This story is SMOKIN'. MF/MMF/MFM. I love menage series especially when one man fights the attraction and needs the woman's help to get him to admit his feelings. Jack and Lissy started off as a twosome but she was also attracted to Paul, as was Jack. Paul wants Lissy bad! Lissy notices Jack's attraction to Paul and suggests a threesome. Jack is more than happy to set things up. I usually don't do spoilers in my reviews but I needed to clarify my statement of the woman helping bring them together. I loved this book. Great job Em!!
