I went to school, did an English Lit & Psych double major, interned at an ad agency, which led to a few more years in ad agencies, then moved into tech.
I started writing poetry in 2017, and am still doing it. I will talk your ear off about the Philadelphia 76ers, R&B and hip hop, and traveling. I also mess around with photography from time to time. (I was shooting photos for a Robyn concert once and she grabbed my hand in the middle of “Call Your Girlfriend” so that pretty much made my whole life.)

I didn't really read this book I am guilty of admitting. I was in a very challenging relationship while dealing with a good friend who was having her own issues with sexual exploration. I saw the book cover, I thought it applied to me. I thought it was a story. I thought if it wasn't a story it would be porn. I thought if it wasn't porn it would be enlightening.
For me it was none of those things and grew bored of stuffing it in my closet when anyone who might come in my room came to the house. I am not trashing this book because I bought it for my own reasons: to enlighten questions I was having, to titillate me, to reassure myself I was normal. I was disappointed because the book is about a photographer and her own life and photos.
I think I dumped this book into one of those recycle a book boxes out of boredom. I am ashamed to say that I really didn't read this book past the first few paragraphs once I understood what the book was about. I mean I read "Jay's Journal" an awful book that sucked so bad even my teenaged son sneered at it.
The photos may be something you would like. I didn't find them entertaining. It was weird. They just looked kind of sad for some reason. The people looked like they were posing for Awkward Family Photographs really and I am glad that they had each other. Not all were couples but I can't even remember most of the photos.
So don't take my rating as a insult or even as a good indicator of this book. It just wasn't my cup of tea.

Fairly pedestrian stuff, but must have been exciting in the 80s!
