Love. Laughter. Dogs!

Kat Channing, assistant to the famous movie dog, Lira, is about to lose her job because Lira’s eyesight is failing and the canine star won’t be able to work anymore. But when Kat overhears her boss’s nephew, Joey, promise to “off” Lira to collect the insurance, Kat absconds with the canine in an impulsive bid to save her. Now, if only she had a plan or someone who could help her...

Enter Mike Duffy, her childhood bestie. Without Kat in his life, Mike, now a veterinarian, has had a calm, organized life—just the way he likes it. Though he’s loved Kat for years, she doesn’t see him as anything other than her best friend—and someone to rescue her from her many scrapes. But when she begs him for help with Lira, how can he say no?

Kat is too impulsive. Mike is too staid. Can these two opposites become the next love match as they head for Sanctuary in Dogwood, Colorado together? And, with an APB out on Kat, Joey hot on their trail, and a snowstorm slowing them down, will they be able to save the purloined pooch before Joey commits dogicide?

I've been a reader all my life, starting out with fairy tales and graduating to reading everything in the house when I grew older, including my parents' romances, mysteries, science fiction, fantasy, and action/adventure.

If a writer can combine romance and humor with a fantasy, science fiction, or paranormal element, I'm hooked. Add action/adventure, and it's even better!

Since I couldn't find quite enough books that combine these elements, I sat down to write some of my own. The result is the books you'll see on my website.

I now live in Colorado with my three dogs: Mo, Daisy and Trixie.

Pseudonyms: Pamela Luzier (Fantasy genre) and Parker Blue (Young Adult urban fantasy genre).

Well, my new goal in life is to be a Hollywood animals' handler - so there's that... :D
Such a cute story, and an adorable romance. I may or may not have over-related to Kat... but that's neither here nor there. The characters were great, and I wanted a Mike Duffy of my own!
Loving these books.

I thought this was an excellent book. Although Kat acted like an idiot often, her old friend, the dog doctor stood by her. He even went to extreme lengths to help her get to the dog sanctuary to save the "Dog Star". A truly great read for dog lovers and everyone else, too!

Well, I have to admit I had a few chuckles through this book. It had it's touching moments and I love any book that revolves around animals but this is one romance that certainly has some interesting and amusing twists and turns. I especially enjoyed the scenes revolving around an escaped pet mouse. I suggest you read the book to find out more and as a former Vet Nurse I so wish I had seen this happen at least once, I would have been in hysterics.

Nice light read, about the effort to keep a dog safe from a potentially bad owner. Info on a dog sanctuary to rehabilitate puppy mill dogs and rehome them to loving families. Also a human romance evolves. A feel good story for sure.
